Brian...just give it all...I’m mean ALL....to God. He has this..... God bless and be at peace. Jesus, I trust in You! Mean it!
Thank you all for your prayers! I got a really good deep 12 hour night’s sleep last night and actually felt a lot better today, but I’m still getting short of breath far too easily. My heart cath is tomorrow morning at 9:00. I’ll either be there through the afternoon then go home, or they’ll keep me overnight if they’re able to place any stents. I’ll have my iPhone and I’ll try to post an update after the procedure.
Prayers and thoughts Brian.. You mentioned you have so much to do? It can wait Health first.. Sometimes the lambs legs Need broken Get well soon brother
Dear Brian, I'm offering many prayers for you! You don't know me I haven't posted but once on this forum. I'd like you to know that you played a part in my conversion 15-17 yrs ago on that other forum's religious forum, I don't know if I can mention name. I never posted there but read all the debates between the Catholics and protestants and remember you so eloquently defending our Holy Mother Church and our Immaculate Mother Mary! You really played apart in my conversion and I thank you and may God Bless you and Mary keep you!
Said quoted beautiful personal petition for you Brian. God bless you and keep you safely under His mighty wing, especially in this Holy Season. May the Christ Child come to you and bring the gift of wholeness and health especially to you now. Amen.
FreeRepublic? Wow, that means more to me than you could possibly know! I often question the time I spent there doing what I call “amateur apologetics.” It’s so good to know that time and effort was not wasted and bore real fruit!
Brian I am lifting you up in prayers and mass today....Our God is a God of miracles. Prayers saved me and if God will's it will save you as well!!!! Blessings my friend
Prayers now at Adoration. ..if the Church is open, which I hope... It's really lovely to reach out and pray for others like this. I enjoy doing so.
Suzanne this is a powerful testament to Brian's deep faith and eloquence. Thank you so much for posting.
Amazing Suzanne! We never know who is watching and listening when we defend and live our faith. What a very special gift you gave to Brian, God bless you.
The heart cath is done. They couldn’t place any stents. I’ll be going back in on Thursday or Friday for a bi ventricular pacemaker with a defibrillator. Plus they’re increasing or changing several of my heart medications and one blood thinner and adding Farxiga, a diabetes med that helps heart failure.
Thanks for the update, and praying that these procedures work for you in a restorative way. Please God.
The pacemaker/defibrillator sounds like a good plan. I worked for an electrophysiologist for years, and these ICD implants significantly extended the lives of many patients in your situation. The pacemaker is the steady hand guiding your heart through each day, while the defibrillator is the guardian angel standing ready to keep you safe if your heartbeat becomes dangerously irregular. Prayers for a successful procedure. +
Good summary/explanation! I know what they are and what they do but you definitely have a way with words in making it so easy to understand. I never thought I’d be getting a defibrillator at age 54.
Oh God help you Brian, I thought you must be a whole lot of years older than you actually are. My eldest daughter is only a couple of years younger than you.
