So I had the most beautiful confession yesterday and with a heart beat skip in my soul I decided to go to my own parish church just now for mass.. As I arrived I seen a que to get in which I expected but to my absolute horror I was enraged beyond belief I'm absolutely stonking mad right now.. The reason for the que was not because of people being allocated seats it was to stand in line whilst your tempature was taken... Are they having a laugh have they lost the plot entirely ohh I'm so angry I could rip a phone book in half.. What's next will they be giving out vaccine shots at the chapel door before you enter... Pharisees the lot of them.. I'm home now I just refuse totally to conform to their madness

Horrifying John. Sign of the times. We are well and truly in the false church now in so many ways. We must search diligently for the true Church among the ruins.

:( Just returned from Mass, we were informed that we had to make reservations for the Holy Christmas Mass to keep the number of parishioners entering.

:( They tried the reservation system at our parish, and it did not go over well. Mass attendance was so poor our pastor had to abandon it, parishioners were going to area churches that did not require reservations.

Yes, it seems in some places the Church is eager to march to the government's tune. Perhaps it is because of the age of our priests. I believe that in my diocese, the average priestly age is around 68! This puts them in the vulnerable category to covid-19. Still, it appears the Church seeks to outdo even the governmental regulations. It is the spirit of fear that leads to compliance and over-regulation. It is the perfect Love of Jesus which casts out fear; it is His Humility in the Eucharist by which we are clothed in love and peace. Give us fortitude, Dear Lord!

Oh, that the Fear of the Lord will supersede servile fear in the lives of Catholics, especially our clergy. If not, we place the Church at the service, not of God, but of the government. Lord have Mercy!:notworthy:

I took solace in todays first reading

(although my good wife did mention that my anger today reminded her of Jesus wrecking the coin collectors tables )

    Ez 34:11-17

11 For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God.

16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

17 And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.

We are in the time of purification, John; the above highlight will precede the restoration. Those who engender their own fire to walk by are sadly in for a shock.

Luke 12: 49 I came to cast fire upon the earth; and would that it were already kindled! 50 I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how I am constrained until it is accomplished!

Isaiah 50:11 Behold, all you who kindle a fire, who set brands alight! Walk by the light of your fire, and by the brands which you have kindled! This shall you have from my hand: you shall lie down in torment.

We were informed this morning that the measures (masks, 30% capacity seating, etc) was extended through to Easter (!) by our Bishop! And one of our pastors got up and went on about how he gets all the vaccines (flu shots, etc.) and will get the covid vaccine! You would think that the Church knows about them being cultured in and containing aborted fetal cells! We were furious!

That’s interesting Jo M because it’s the opposite at my Parish. We have to pre-register for Mass, but because there are so many people wanting to attend That have to be turned away, our Pastor had to add another Mass on Sunday.

Crazies are everywhere. The two churches is a living concrete reality now. Going into Church is like walking into a hospital what are these people thinking. The bishops are a disgrace. Thank God for the Latin mass as the madness has not affected those with some grey matter between their ears. I got up to Belfast at the weekend for a visit gladly breaking the 5km ring of steel and went to confession and mass up the Antrim road by fortwilliam which is ran by the Institute of Christ the King. No masked priest and most of the congregation no masks either.
