  1. What kind of response would you expect from me at this point? It seems you already have him squarely in a corner.

This is not a logical response , but an equivovation

    equivocation
    /ɪˌkwɪvəˈkeɪʃ(ə)n/

    Learn to pronounce

    noun
    noun: equivocation; plural noun: equivocations
the use of ambiguous language to conceal the truth or to avoid committing oneself; prevarication.

Very similiar to gas lighting...that which produces confusion.

I have noticed this with many of your posts.

You do this again and again and again.

A kind of vague inference that people are saying something very wrong but not saying why.

Leaving things hanging in the air.

    Gas lighting like crazy

  4. Wow. I will say I never expected this. None of what you just laid out here pertaining to my style of commenting was intended as such, Padraig. Maybe I’m supposed to offer this up? Feels like being a bit blind-sided. Other than a couple of members who disagreed with me on something unrelated in another thread, I usually see my alerts showing that others generally “like” my comments and that helps me to know when others are in agreement with me on things I think are important to the faith.or if I’m off track.) I want to understand what you’re saying here, I’m just not getting it. But, I’ll consider what you’re said and certainly pray about it.

I just came across this in my notes from years ago, and it reminds me of what we are all experiencing today - we are suffering with Jesus. Pray for the Church - for Bishops and Priests who are falling headlong into the abyss!

    Meditation, mid-Jan., 1995
As I was meditating on a letter Sr. Maureen wrote me about the Church, it came to me that the same way the Church is being pulled apart today, Jesus’ limbs were pulled apart as they nailed Him to the Cross. As this thought came to me, Jesus spoke to me saying, “You will suffer with Me!”

I'm not expecting any response. I'm just giving my own point of view. I understand why you admire him and I hope you will understand why I like him but am disappointed in him and others whom I had formerly held in very high esteem. I admire those who risked all to speak truth to power on the Amoris Laetitia issue. I admire them more because I'm not sure that I would have had their courage in the same situation. While I feel sad for Dr. Moynihan and others who will be victims of the cancel culture, I hope they realise that, had they all spoken out then, the crisis we are in now might have been averted.

  7. I can understand your reply here and very much appreciate it.

"On the one hand, the deep State struck at the Church and Benedict XVI with the intention of electing a representative of the deep Church as pope; on the other hand the deep Church struck at the State and Trump with the intention of electing a representative of the deep State as president. Let the reader judge whether the plans of the conspirators have achieved their intended purpose."

“From here it will be a relatively small step to legitimizing pedophilia, as certain politicians would like: the premises made by the theorization of the alleged “sexual rights” of minors, the imposition of sexual education in primary schools at the recommendation of the United Nations, and the attempts to pass legislation in Parliaments to lower the age of consent are all heading in the same direction. Some naive person – assuming that it is still possible to speak of naivety – will say that the Church will never be able to say that she is in favor of the corruption of children, because this would contradict the uninterrupted Catholic Magisterium. I limit myself to recalling what was said only a few years ago with regard to so-called homosexual “matrimony” – or about the ordination of women, ecclesiastical celibacy, or the abolition of the death penalty – and that which vice-versa is affirmed with impunity today, to the world’s applause.”

If this isn’t the absolute bottom of the slippery slope I don’t know what is.
