Nov 3rd: Election day, God's day (prayer & fasting)

I urge everyone to vote not only for Donald Trump, but also for the US Senate which is in danger of flipping to the Democrats. Even if Trump wins, he'll be limited in pushing forward his agenda when both legislative branches are controlled by Democrats. He would be spending his days writing a lot of vetoes.

Yes we have quite a race here in AZ. McSally (R) vs Kelly (D). And Kelly is a gun grabbing loon. He is running on his Navy pilot and astronaut status. He is just plain awful. McSally was a fighter pilot and saw combat. Kelly was a Navy pilot and did not see combat. Kelly was conservative until his wife was shot 10 or so years ago and she lived but is not right after her injuries. So he is anti-gun which is bad for AZ. We have a lot of Dem's here that believe in their 2nd Amendment but with 2 Dem Senators who don't (if Kelly were to win) that will turn this state blue and all I can say it....bye, bye AZ it's been nice. I have lived in a state that went red to blue.....no thank you.

I went through a list of 6 hotly contested Senate races, Tanker. Here's my humble appraisal. AZ is one of those states: remember, the Democrats need a minimum of 4 net flips to secure a majority position in the Senate (51). Since the Alabama switch to Republican is probable, then the other five I listed would have to all go Democrat to gain the majority in the Senate. If only 4 of those 5 flip, that would leave the Senate with: 50 republicans, 48 Democrats, and 2 Independents (they usually vote with Democrats on virtually everything).

Alabama: currently (D); probable flip
Arizona: currently (R); possible flip
Colorado: currently (R); possible flip
Georgia: currently (R); possible flip
Maine: currently (R); possible flip
N. Carolina: currently (R); possible flip

If any MOG members live in one of the States listed above, and believe I'm whistling Dixie, let us know. Otherwise, I'm praying they stay Republican!

Incidentally, I woke up with arthritis pain in my knee which I haven't had for some years. I know it's due to eating too much sugary food BUT I felt it was God's way of asking me to offer something up for the election, since I haven't been very focused on the prayer and fasting lately. I have been praying on the hoof a lot - that the American people will confound the naysayers and re-elect the 45th President! Sending much love from the UK.

Me too! This past month a bit off the charts. I keep offering it up. I always thank the Lord for providing penance for me since I seem notoriously adverse to choosing it for myself.

 

An online American friend told me she is praying the Lorica of Saint Patrick for Trump as she has heard that witches are organising against him. I suppose we know it as the Breastplate

Prayers tonight for President Trump.

I hate to be partisan but who else is there?

 

You have got to join in the Grace Force USA Rosary for the election. There is a Hail Mary for every state in the USA. Go for it, I did.

Also prayed for USA and the successful outcome of the election at on line Mass this morning, followed by Rosary for same intention.

 

My prayer partner and I have been praying the Lorica prayer for President Trump that begins with “I bind” instead of “I arise”, then inserting his name— for the last 5 months or so. It was on an app that we could automatically pull up. About a week ago the app disappeared— saying Error 409 or some such. We hunted for it on the internet but to no avail, so we started to say the prayer with the “I arise” wording— which was a little different— and seemed less bold. Does anyone have that version, with “I bind”?

This situation is truly sad. Even Fox News polling originally had Biden in the lead. There has been a huge propaganda machine in place. Even this morning, Yahoo Finance continues to promote a pro-Biden slant; there is no objectivity. I tended to believe that Biden would win, up until a week ago. It was the reality of Trump's rallies that sunk in for me. Those rallies demolished the propaganda machine.

Trump will win. The Senate will remain under Republican control. With Barrett on the Supreme Court, Democrats won't be able to ram any nonsense through the judiciary. There will now be unrest again on the streets. I see the Chinese currency took a hit when Trump took Florida. There will be war, but not in the near future.

The Great Reset will have to reset!

We need to continue to pray. The Lord has been merciful!

It's hard to not have some despair this morning as you watch things unfold. His lead vanished overnight in democrat run states. It looks like right now, he will lose all these states but then the court battle will begin. No matter what God is in control. I have been praying for a last chance grace for this country and then the world, but maybe we don't get one. Our Lady warned over and over again to not let communism rise. It has definitely risen because we did not do our parts of what she asked the world to do. If the US falls to socialism, then its over!
