Scott Hahn and Ralph Martin are way, way up there in my esteem.

It is a matter of really huge concern that they should be making a case like this.

We're in incredible trouble as a Church.

Why are all the heretical snakes all crawling out from under the stones Pope Benedict and Pope St John Paul placed them?

Because they feel it is now safe to do so.

Why do they feel it is safe to air their heresies?

Because they know that fellow heretics are now in charge of the Church.

    That's why.

The lunatics, the evil lunatics , have taken over the asylum.

The Devil is on the Big Seat.

    The Vatican has Fallen.

Yes they are very, very kind and loving family men. Far kinder and gentler than I could ever hope to be. So very, very, very, holy wise and learned. Gentle saints. Not cranks. It's so true. If they are talking openly and publically like this we're not up to our necks in it, we're sunk twenty feet under.

    A true horror picture.

There was a prophecy of Padre Pio I read. So many of these are hearsay, who knows if he actually said these things?

But one stuck in my mind down the years and I often thought , 'I hope this is not so!' But it implied that thrown of Peter would one day Fall so low that it would be owned and controlled by Satan...

Jesus to Luisa: “My Church seems to be dying, especially with regard to the social conditions, which anxiously wait for the cry of death. But, courage... after you have reached the top of the mountain, as the Cross is lifted up, all will be shaken, and the Church will lay down Her aspect of a dying one, and will reacquire Her full vigor. Just as the Cross alone was the only means to fill the void which sin had made, and to unite the abyss of infinite distance that existed between God and man; in the same way, in these times the Cross alone will make my Church’s forehead rise, with courage and splendor, so as to confuse and put to flight the enemies.”

They're talking about the Catholic Spring revealed in Podesta's emails but won't name it. Anyone who thought that Podesta's "we" didn't mean influential Catholics can buy the bridge I'm selling at a good price. Podesta was a lecturer in Georgetown University, the place Ralph Martin was invited to give a talk. He was the token believing, practising Catholic brought in to lend an air of legitimacy to the apostates whose event it was. Looks like he's finally connecting the dots, although at this rate the AC will have come and gone before he deciphers the writing on the wall.

Incidentally, did you know the Vatican has introduced a new "Pandemic Mass"? I've just watched it from the Carmelite Church. Looks like you traditionalists were right all along. I'll have to start looking for an online TLM.

  10. I agree with Ralph Martin. He points out the crisis in the church...

But he also says Pope Saint John Paul II and Pope Benedict ware correcting the errors; He was not critical of them. All this will pass, God is in charge.

I also agree with Ralph Martin that God only allows this trial to bring about a greater good, so we should be very hopeful.

God allowed me to fall far into grave sin for decades, likely so that I would feel the chains of imprisonment to sin, and realize it is not good enough to be a lukewarm Catholic after returning.

It is wonderful for a cynical old crank like myself to have some people I can really truly admire, hero's in fact. Ralph Martin and Scott Hahn and way, way, way up there. Such gentle kind grandfatherly figures, the very opposite of fiery, outspoken rebels and gentlemen of the very deepest prayer and learning. They are the kind of people I would imagine as Elders to Moses, the kind of Righteous Pillars Moses could always have turned to for counsel and advise. I have been following and reading and watching them for so many years now, I just can't count.

Totally exemplary Catholics the creme de la creme of the Church. You could pretty well canonise this pair before they had even died.:):) Never a word or action out of place, you could steer the ship of your soul by them with never a worry or doubt.

Some dogs bark all the time and you just ignore them.

Some dogs bark now and again and you rouse yourself to listen.

Some dogs only bark once in a blue moon and you rush to call the police at once.

These are once in a Blue Moon Watch Dogs. They are barking at the top of their voices.

    Something is seriously, seriously wrong.

    I mean drop dead serious.

The Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Oh Immaculate Heart of Mary, Sacred heart of Jesus I place all my Trust in Thee!

But before the morning Darkest Night. The Sign for us that out Captivity is at an End is when the Abomination of Desolation enters the Temple as the Prophet Daniel foretold. When they tamper with the Liturgy of the Mass in such a way that the Sacrifice of the Mass is no more.

No then that the Forces of Darkness having achieved their Ends that our Hour of Liberation is at hand and through your tears, rejoices.

The closing of the Churches is of course a precusor to the Abomination of Desolation:

    MATTHEW 24-25

Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),

There can now be no doubt now that we are living through the times written of long ago in the Book of the Apocalypse by St John in exile on the island of Patmos.

    What an honour and challenge.

I don't doubt, Padraig that they both are very holy. I like both of them. I first saw Scott Hahn on EWTN. He did a series of talks about the Eucharist. Very learned people who don't have an ego as vast as their knowledge can share their knowledge using language that ordinary people like me can understand. Scott Hahn is one of those people. I'm not so familiar with Ralph Martin but he comes across as a very likeable, unassuming person deeply committed to the Faith.

I'm afraid that my litmus test these days can be summed up in a single question: Where did they stand on Amoris Laetitia? Some of us saw the problem with Amoris Laetitia and we were denounced as heretics, Pope haters and Protestants on this forum. The people condemning us took their lead from very learned prominent Catholics who tried to gloss over the problem with AL. If we could see the problem, I have absolutely no doubt that those learned people could see it too. They can't have been unaware that faithful, equally well qualified Catholics lost their jobs for daring to speak out. Did they remain silent and, if so, why? Were they hoping the axe of mercy wouldn't fall on them? Maybe, like poor Cardinal Muller, they thought that if the clung to the hope that AL was meant to be interpreted in the light of Tradition, the wolves wouldn't come for them? Well, Cardinal Muller was one of the first to feel the wolf's teeth in his back. One by one, faithful influential Catholics are finding out that the positive spin approach doesn't work and neither does opting for silence. Their turn will come. One or two might be left in place for the sake of appearances. But at what price for their consciences?

I fear the darkness, the dryness, the temptations, the cross, the sorrows,
Oh how I need you My Jesus in this night of Exile.
Stay with me Lord, because at the hour of my death, I want to stay united to you, if not by Holy Communion at least by your grace and Love.
Stay with me Lord I do not deserve divine consolation because I do not merit it but the gift of your presence. Oh yes I ask this of You

As far as I could tell, it's the same as ordinary Mass with extra prayers about God being the Lord of creation and of life as well as praying for the various people affected by the pandemic like medical staff, carers, the dead and bereaved. I think there was mention of governments and people looking to find a cure but I can't remember all of it. The Prayers of the Faithful were along the same lines, but I don't recall in those prayers any mention of the customary prayers for the living and the dead not linked to covid. It was the part about the Eucharist that struck a nerve with me. The priest saying Mass in an empty Church reassuring us that Jesus' healing presence is here with us in the Eucharist when only those celebrating Mass can receive the Eucharist.

The priest announced at the beginning of Mass that this was the new Pandemic Mass from the Vatican. It was the Carmelite Church in the centre of the city where Mass is always celebrated with reverence. Lord alone knows what leeway there is for other, less orthodox, celebrants to inject their own "spirituality". Anyway, I won't find out because I'll be looking for a TLM. I really don't like this tinkering with the Mass, however well intentioned. Sometimes I get the impression there are people in the Vatican with too much time on their hands. Similar to a bored kid pulling and poking at things because he has nothing better to do.

Julia Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

To get an in depth perspective of what we are seeing unfold at the very top of the Hierarchy even to the Pope himself; I don't think there has been anything more alarming or revealing than the latest video from Apb. Vigano. Or is he gone clean stark raving bonkers. Keep Watch and Pray.
