I see that Cardinal Parolin the Pope's Second in command appears to be yet another Cardinal who is taking a nose dive. Is anyone keeping track of all these top, top Cardinals personally picked by the Holy Father who have been disgraced? Cardinal Parolin who was the Secretary of State appears to have been...well... disappeared (an Argentinian tradition) and fallen of the map at the same time Cardinal Becchu got shown the door .
All these new political movements have as their true purpose an assault on Christ and His Church. The rest of the trappings are merely a ruse to, as you say, attract the useful idiots.
What is so hard and sad is that Gates of the Church seem to be breached entirely. The wolves are running among the sheep. How long oh Lord.....
That Sensus Fidelium video is chilling in light of what is transpiring in the Church. Teilhard is probably the source of the Superior General of the Jesuits declaring that Satan is not a real being but zn early Christian construct to explain evil. That and a lot of other weird statements coming from people "close to the Pope". It's also likely that the Teilhard influence had a lot to do with children being weaned off the Faith in Catholic schools, which has been happening on the ground for years. I know that it seems contradictory to say that it was done surreptitiously in plain sight but that's what happened. What seemed like little changes were building blocks leading to where we are now. I remember years ago children being taught to say "I did not show love" instead of saying "my sins are..." when being prepared for First Confession. Strictly speaking, that isn't wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if children these days learn anything about sin. I think the current trend is to call sins bad choices, putting them on a par with poor taste in clothes. I met a couple at a pro life march who told me that the nun preparing their son for Confirmation told the class that the Devil and Hell were invented to frighten people. That couple weren't much younger than me which means that their son must be an adult by now and probably a father with no faith to pass on to his own children. I brought two children to the designated church for the year of mercy. Both had made their First Communion that year. Schocked when they didn't genuflect, I tried to teach them how but they looked at me like I was deranged. One of their mothers told me afterwards that genuflecting is out. Nowadays they are taught to bow. Seems to me that the goal is to eliminate belief in the Real Presence, and it is very effective. The pachamama business reminded me of Teilhard's Mass on the World (I think that's what they call the mock Mass with no Consecration). That seems to be where we're headed. Here's the Sensus Fidelium video for anyone who hasn't seen/heard it:
I don't think that Cardinal Parolin is out of favour. It's more likely that he's happy with the change. This way, he gets to be deputy head bottle washer without the hassle of sorting out the finances. He can be a kind of Minister for Foreign Affairs. This change seems to be part of the ongoing reorganisation of the various departments in the Vatican rather than a rap on the knuckles for Cardinal Parolin. Tbere's a piece in the Financial Times about the Becciu/London property mess. Someone involved in the deal said that Becciu had a letter from Cardinal Parolin saying that Becciu had full control over the Vatican's assets (that's not a direct quote and I was half asleep reading it so I could be over-stating what was in the letter). This reshuffle should save Cardinal Parolin from being bogged down in the ongoing investigations in Italy, leaving him free to concentrate on China. Here's a link to the Financial Times article. I was able to read it the first time I clicked on it but now I would have to pay for a trial subscription but you might be able to read it if you haven't been on that website in a while: https://www.ft.com/content/8280146f-dc86-4007-a579-7a9711be927c In fairness to Cardinal Parolin, giving the ok to buy the property in London probably wouldn['t have been such a bad decision if they hadn't paid so much for it and if the middle men hadn't been so well rewarded. I don't know much about high finance but I would have thought that property in Chelsea would be a reasonably safe imvestment.
Who Know really? Lack of transparency and openness leaves us guessing. Everything is always this big huge secret. I am not sure , looking at it from the outside looking in that the problem was the investment in itself but what was happening to the interest coming of hundreds of billions. were that was going. If they told the Pope what they were doing with his dough. Also jobs for the boys family involvement. Also the half mill peeled of and sent to this Sardinian lady who was supposed to be , 'Head of Security', whatever that means. https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/w...utm_source=editor_picks&utm_campaign=standard

Newly minted Vatican, 'Mother Earth', Pachamama coins. This was issued on 13th October, the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. What they used to mint. Spot the difference.
I think Jesus spoke about this Mary when He said about not letting ourselves be scandalised by carrying's on. Let me see if I can find the quote. Aah well God will not send any of us to hell for what they are getting up to in Rome. The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat, 3 so practice and observe whatever they tell youā€"but not what they do. For they preach, but do not practice. 4 They tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on people's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to move them with their finger. 5 They do all their deeds to be seen by others…. "But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in. 15 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves. 16 "Woe to you, blind guides, who say, 'If anyone swears by the temple, it is nothing, but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.' 17 You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that has made the gold sacred?... 23 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. 24 You blind guides, straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel! 25 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26 You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and the plate, that the outside also may be clean. 27 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people's bones and all uncleanness. 28 So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. 29 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous, 30 saying, 'If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.' 31 Thus you witness against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers. 33 You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell? (Matthew 23:1-33).
I suppose it's better not to think too much About this stuff. There is nothing we can do anyway but pray. It's all very upsetting.
