Pope Francis good friend/athiest who he has granted several interviews with did say in his last article that pope Francis told him he does not believe Jesus is God! And Pope Francis did not deny/refute he said this to his atheist friend either. Is this why he does not genuflect to the Blessed Sacrament? Just saying!

Thank you for this video, CC. I can't be sure, but this video is not recent; it strikes me as maybe 2 years old. More recently, I remember that Pope Francis (God bless him) was able to kneel down to kiss the feet of the Sudan delegation. It did not seem overly difficult for him.

    Safe in the Immaculate Heart!

You can see it on youtube. Three times to be exact and yet he can't kneel for Jesus.

You're missing nothing Aidan. The Pope does kneel in that video. My guess is that the video was uploaded to show that the Pope needs help to get back on his feet when he kneels so that's the reason we don't often see him kneeling.

It's Christmas. Let's lay off the negativity and focus on the incarnation.

This YouTube video was originally uploaded several years ago by former MOG member Davidtlg (just follow the YouTube link under the YouTube video in the OP) in response to an ongoing debate here over why the pope refuses to genuflect for the consecration or kneel for Adoration, despite the fact he repeatedly kneels to wash the feet of non Catholics at the Holy Week services and kneels before world leaders of non Catholic/ non Christian religions.

It holds no more credibility now than it did then.

Be that as it may, we should all take Dolours’ advice above and give our attention to the Holy Day of Christmas instead.

Pope Francis has dodgy limbs in his old age. My limbs are ok but my mind could do with an anti-rust treatment. The incarnation happened when the Word became flesh - the feast of the Annunciation but I'm confident that you all understood what I meant and were too polite to point out my error.
