The great mystics has always passed thru a dark time. Ask St Pio & St. Therese of Calcutta to stay close. Trust they are. You ARE being defended!
I have been hammered again. I was rear-ended again yesterday, in my new car of 2 weeks. Clearly I was protected! The cover of my sunroof was slide back, exposing the window. Why that didn't blow out along with the back window can only be a miracle. I'm renting for a couple days til I get a quote from the dealer.
I'm just annoyed, exasperated. I want to drive my Rav4. Ok, am I being further humbled? I was able to minister and console the teenager who hit me, while she was keeping her mom on facetime. I gave her my networking card I made for volunteering. You BET I hugged her!
Thanks everyone. Thinking about future vocation at the moment. Starting to feel a little bit better now, thank God.
Have been suffering quite a bit over the past couple of days. I picked up some form of a possession in my early twenties that is still there and which I am being released from. Trusting that Jesus loves me and can deliver me. Need all the help from heaven that I can get right now. Feel totally lost. I love God and desire him to be in my life.
Feel abandoned at times, like there is an absence of Faith, Hope and Charity but trusting in Divine Mercy and Jesus' merciful love. It seems that Jesus hides his face from time to time. Perhaps this has something to do with the Night of the Soul. Hoping I can out of this dark night because I love Jesus and want to do His holy Will. I desire his blessings and His mercy. These should be abundant, please God, when all this passes.
Fighting a tough battle at the moment. Have fears about salvation but perhaps that is coming from the evil one.
You are in the Lord's hands. Safe and secure, even if you don't feel it. Browse images of Christ, the Sacred Hearts, Our Lady. Take comfort from beautiful Holy art and old Holy Cards available online.
Sanctus I can affirm for you it is from the evil one. He is attacking your peace and your trust in Jesus to knock you out of the fight. When you are distressed you are paralyzed. A very holy priest told me this yesterday. Repeat acts of trust in Jesus and make sure to unite this spiritual suffering to Our Lord's agony in the garden. Are you able to go home yet?
https://www.facebook.com/lelys.blanc.9 I've opened my FB devotional page. Sanctus, you're absolutely welcome to browse. I hope you (and others) find comfort there.
