I would say falsies are really quite common. I know for instance of a Franciscan friar who was widely considered to be Visited by Our Lady. I was annoyed to have missed him when he made a visit and asked the guest mistress about him as she had taken care of him.

She replied that she did not know about him being a saint but that he had had her tortured. He wanted his eggs boiled just so long. His bed had to made in just such a way. ..and on and on.

    By bubble burst at once.:)

It is often the small things....

Thank you for taking the time to articulate some of your concerns. I must admit to not having watched many videos with Christine and Kendra, they seem to be aimed more at younger people. I still think Christine W. bulldozed ahead with presumptions about Fr R that have caused chaos.

I confess to not having read much from the CTTK site, or watched all the videos. Some are long and a bit boring. Fr R's were good viewing though. I took the spiritual side of his talks on board, they seemed much the same as Medjugorje and other places alleged messages.

My grandson nagged me after Christmas to get ready for a food crisis in the spring and he is not a prophet. He thinks there might be another not so severe panic this autumn. Nothing to do with religion, he doesn't even go to Church. It is about trends. I didn't listen in the spring until too late.

Just to keep in perspective, as far as Bishops go, to give one example. There is a lady in Ireland called Anne a lay apostle. Her Bishop supports her, he has even assigned her a spiritual director, and given her writings his stamp of approval. I have been assured her Bishop is a very holy man by someone who lives in his diocese. Even so, if I were to share alleged messages from Anne on the forum, all hell would break loose.

I really can't trust what any Bishop says, because if we can't trust what one Bishop says who is positive, why trust a Bishop who is negative.

Hope you don't find any rude bits in all that. None intended.

Calling a priest a "rat" doesn't sound like judgement to you? I'm actually trying to save a soul in pointing this out.

Or do you not see that?

Priests regardless of their errors are instruments of God . I Think we can all agree on this. We may disagree with what they say but it should stop there.
I beg of you all to stop the criticism of a Holy man of God.

  5. Name calling of a priest is wrong on many levels, Fede. That is not what a majority of the folks here do! And to be honest, I missed that one completely. I certainly can separate a priest with his priesthood from the words that come out of his mouth or are written by him. Unfortunately, when what comes out of the mouth or is written causes confusion (are you not seeing that?!), those actions/words must be put to question. Please stop making Fr.MR a poor victim in the throes of only had people with bad intentions. This is becoming like a fan club whose members overlook anything questionable—how on earth is this helping this priest?!

Fede, if you are reading smelling a rat as pertaining to a Priest in my reply to Padraigs post, you have misunderstood the phrase.

Smelling a rat is a phrase that means you see past what ever is presented to you, and can be applied to any situation, it is not a name given to a person, but relates to a name given to a situation.
I understood Padraig had been duped by some false prophet or other. So the phrase in that instant would mean. The false prophesy was the rat. The false prophet is not given a name.

Another way of saying the same sort of phrase would be don't judge a book by it's cover. It is not calling anyone a name.

  7. Since Fede quoted my post, Julia, I replied to him before you ever commented that you were the one to have made that reference. But, he gave me a chance to reinforce some points. Didn’t want you to think I took it upon myself to answer for you,

I agree that the presumptions from Christine started the chaos. I still can’t believe the countdown site is doubling down on it.

I understand your son wanting you to get food. I couldn’t believe how quickly the grocery store cleared out in March. It’s scary how delicate our supply chain is.

I totally get not trusting all bishops but I do trust the authority given them to make these decisions. The litmus test is obedience. If the prophecies are true then God is allowing Father M and everyone that believes him to be tested. If the prophecies are false then the Bishop made the right decision. Either way once the bishop disavowed it was time to drop it and move on. End of story.

Nothing rude in this post and I’m enjoying the discussion.

Of course it is fine if you wanted to make some points. I was just making sure my phrase was not taken out of context.

Living in different countries, sometimes well known phrases in one place are not understood in the same way in another country. I tried to make sure Fede was not misinterpreting my reply to Padraig.

Maybe a separate post about the Priest deserting the flock in the lock down would have been wiser. It was on my mind, and had prayed about it.

This is a short item from Daniel O'Connor's personal blog, posted on Sept. 25. O'Connor "disavows" some claims on the "Countdown" website. (Boldface type is red in original.)

Mystics of the Church website has posted large portions of O'Connors latest post in its comment section for a "Purification" article.

    Recent CTTK/QPM Videos:

I’ve received a number of emails from readers concerned about the last couple videos that went up on CTTK in-between the last two webcasts I did with Mark Mallett (one of which is no longer on CTTK). Please remember what I said here on this blog some time ago, which is also contained in the Responses to My Critics (dsdoconnor.com/critics) page: I wholeheartedly endorse CTTK and strongly support its mission, but I am just one of 4 contributors to it, and I kindly ask that readers not assume that just because something is posted on CTTK, that I myself am personally 100% standing behind it.

I’d especially ask that readers know that I have nothing to do with any claims pertaining to alternative medicine or naturopathy of any sort, “blessed grapes,” alleged Coronavirus remedies/prevention measures, essential oils, or the more “out there” conspiracy theories one may find in some videos on QPM (Queen of Peace Media) not created by me (while I am indeed a CTTK contributor, I am not associated with QPM).

  12. I don’t know Daniel, but I pray that the Holy Spirit guide him as he opens his mind and heart to continue discerning as he is doing.. I’m not predicting anything, but this is a good step in the right direction.~AN

Maybe it’s the skeptic in me but I wouldn’t get my hopes too high. I’m not sure how to articulate it but the posts and “Response to my critics” pages are something. He has nothing to do with natural remedies but he’s not condemning them. He’s not saying to believe in Father M but he’s not saying to disbelieve. He heartily endorses countdown but don’t assume he stands behind their posts. He wants to have his cake and eat it too.

I’m glad that readers of his site will at least see the seeds of doubt around certain topics.

A member named Harper was the one who got most of the flack for sounding warning bells about Charlie - very similar to the flack aimed at Christy and others on this thread.

Can you think of any two words in the Bible that have been more abused and misused than "Judge not"? I can't.

I am assuming that those associated with CDTTK receive financial compensation for their contributions to the blog, so there is that. I have not gone near this website, so I have limited knowledge, but I would think that promoting seers, and apocalyptic messages has the potential to be quite profitable which might explain why they would be reluctant to retract anything that they have put out there. They must have a substantial number of followers since so many are very attracted to apocalyptic predictions.

As a faithful follower of Countdown To The Kingdom founders and their keen end-of -the -age messages from various credible prophets of these times, I will wait till November is over to discredit the alleged messengers they bring forth who have made predictions about the close timing of it all beginning. My own study and prayer life tells me the messengers posted by the site heads, are strong in consensus and most believable based on my own nearly 40 years of study.

My question to the naysayers is this. Will you believe if/when critical events foretold by these alleged prophets within the next two months come to fruition? I doubt most will. The slander against them and this web site has been overwhelming negative on MoG. Will apologies on this web site, for all the slander, if major events unfold in the next two months, come? I don't think so, but perhaps a few will, those with humility.

My further prediction is that we will not have to wait two months to feel/see what the prophets have been saying. Things will be at their worst and communism will have returned around the world.

Would it be possible to bullet point the events you refer to that will happen by November?? Just as a quick reference for those who don't follow the cttk website

It's fair to say that we no longer need to go to mass if we visit CTTK regularly. ;)
