Is Trump really pro life, or is he just pandering for votes?

You gave him the unvarnished truth. May he have the grace to do the right thing. A very holy woman I had the privilege to know (a hidden saint IMHO) who has since died , told us that the vote we cast is the equivalent of marking our doors with the Blood of the Lamb. If we vote for the death of innocent unborn babies--and a candidate who facilitates that horror is in effect an accomplice to this murder--then we are part of that sin that scripture tells us "cries to heaven for vengeance". In 2016 she told us at a retreat that if we as a Catholic voted for Hillary Clinton we could go to Hell right along with her! Strong bold brave words from a woman who saw the Communists murder her whole family because of their faith. Who spent time in a Soviet prison camp as a young girl. Who saw in her life God's miraculous power. She was utterly fearless and "all in" for God. Those words felt like the Holy Spirit speaking through an Old Testament prophet or John the Baptist. Please anyone here thinking of voting for any Democrat be aware of what you are doing. To your own immortal soul. And to the lives that you may be threatening by putting these people in power.
This is no ordinary election!

 

YES. This election is a winnowing fan in God's Hand I truly believe. As I said in my post just now if we vote to save the unborn we are in effect marking our doors with the Blood of the Lamb. The Angels are watching and recording.

Because here in Ireland you would be in trouble with the law and probably end up in court.

 

Maybe I am confused.....are ANY of the candidates against LGBT stuff? I mean it is literally a death sentence politically if you are. I have not researched the alternative candidates but I can only think they are LGBT friendly as well as abortion friendly. Trump is against abortion. The proof is in the pudding. He has over turned and stopped many pro-abortion things since he has had the office. He has also restricted some gender confused people from serving in the military. He has also stopped the forcing of religious organizations from being forced to adopt out children to lgbt couples. And, he has stopped medical personnel from being forced to go against their consciences to be a part of gender surgeries and abortions. And the list can go on. He isn't as friendly to the lgbt cause as Biden. Biden/Harris are nightmares, literally. And they are extremely lgbt savvy and promote it.

It is easy for me but I guess it is not so easy for others.

 

Thanks Frodo-I think you put it a little better (and more succinctly!) than me. My unease with voting for him had nothing to do with wanting to support Biden, but rather just feeling uncomfortable about supporting someone around whom a cult of personality seems to have developed, and not in a good way, and ignoring other facets of our faith.

 

Oh I loved Dr. Paul! It’s a shame he never made it further. I suppose that is the type of candidate I mean when I say if someone like myself, who were to vote in a state that has already decided, so to say, were to vote for, it may at the very least demonstrate to our two party system that we need candidates who are strongly pro-life but also practice what they preach in other aspects of the faith.

 

This is interesting to me because so often we focus on the first two of this list and not the others. I am not attempting to rank them, but they all cry out to heaven. I don’t know that either candidate has done a great job with the rest of this list, whether by his promises or his record.

 

Perhaps it's because I live next door to Salem, haven of witches and satanists, that I can't understand how every witch and satanist knows that abortion is a sacrifice to satan, but we Christians don't. That it is opening the doors of hell to let out demons which are creating havoc and complete diabolical disorientation to the world. Someone posted on this forum that satanists perform rites in Planned Parenthood. Witches and satanists fast and pray for abortions to happen. They understand. Most Christians don't. The bishops have stated"The threat of abortion remains our preeminent priority because it directly attacks life itself, because it takes place within the sanctuary of the family, and because of the number of lives it destroys." As Christians we can and are to supposed to vote for the lesser evil. If we don't have life we don't have anything. This is the culture of death versus life. Christ, versus Antichrist, Church versus antiChurch. There is no viable 3'rd party candidate and a vote for them would enable Biden and Harris. The choice is Biden and Harris versus Trump and Pence. For better judges, for our police and stability and for the constitution to be upheld or complete lawlessness to take control of our country. The democrats are the party of death, anti-family, the party of lawlessness and yes of satan. I would have followed Moses in the desert, even though he was a murderer. I would have followed King David even though he was an adulterer and a murderer. Look at Trumps past, well look at the the Clintons and Biden. I hope the Lord is more merciful to me for my past then people are to Trump. Look at the record of what happened under Obama and then look at what has happened under Trump. Our country and constitution was being demolished under Obama and our country will be destroyed by the democrats. They are planning it anyway it turns out, but the blood of the innocents will be on our hands and they will cry out to God against us if we enable the party of death to get in.

 

You said the truth very eloquently. I know you are right about the witches and satanists needing abortion to push forth their Luciferian agenda. It’s not just a destination like the tourist trap of Salem. It’s a dreadful reality and we are in the grip of world-wide evil and diabolical disorientation as a result. Lucifer is opposing the Most High God, the Creator of all.

A little later in the Diary, St. Faustina records another harrowing experience and a vision of destruction that is about to strike the world, and in particular a certain place. Her prayers were powerless until she heard and prayed the words we now recite in the Chaplet of Mercy:

In the evening, when I was in my cell, I saw an Angel, the executor of divine wrath. He was clothed in a dazzling robe, his face gloriously bright, a cloud beneath his feet. From the cloud, bolts of thunder and flashes of lightning were springing into his hands; and from his hand they were going forth, and only then were they striking the earth. It is at this time that St. Faustina encounters the Holy Trinity and the “greatness of Its majesty.” She begins to plead with God in words heard interiorly. The saint continues:

In both cases St. Faustina mentions the wrath of God and destruction that would be unleashed upon the world for its sinfulness, and in particular upon a certain city. Prophesy of a chastisement likened to Sodom and Gomorrah caught the attention of St. Faustina’s spiritual director, Blessed Fr. Michael Sopocko. He questioned St. Faustina carefully about it and recorded her response in his Summarium:

She wrote in her diary that Jesus Himself said that He was about to destroy one of the most beautiful cities of our country like Sodom was destroyed on account of the crimes perpetrated there. Having read about these things in the Diary I asked her what does the prophecy mean? She answered confirming what she wrote and replying to a further question of mine, on account of what kind of sins God was going to inflict these punishments. She answered: especially for the killing of infants not yet born, the most grievous crime of all.

I just thought of another analogy, I wished that I would have told the person I was speaking to regarding voting for Biden, but please share with those that still are on the fence. I should have said:

Therefore, if you are of the age of consent and can read and comprehend English, there is no excuse. You will be held accountable just as the irresponsible bartender piling on the drinks knowingly. I don't know if you will lose your salvation, that's up to the Lord, but clearly 60 million innocent children will cry-out for justice. God is Love...but he is Just. Without Justice...there can be no LOVE.

 

I think there was a mention by some who consider voting for Trump or Biden the equivalent choice between a Hitler and Stalin. Now that Justice Ginsburg has passed, the vote for Trump is now that much more IMPORTANT. I'm not sure why a vote for Trump is more important now - didn't he promise to nominate someone before the election? I'd still rather have a smaller party that stands for God than a party in power that doesn't. I can't get myself to vote for someone who proudly supports the rainbow flag. I just can't. I also don't think this changes much for many conservative Catholics like myself.

 

Well, he could make his nomination. Congress can still choose to hold it up, till AFTER the Presidency election. If that turns out to be the case, and he LOSES the Presidency election because enough people didn't want to elect Hitler, well then, we can celebrate a Liberal Judge on the seat and the abortion train keeps rolling. Sounds like a horrible prospect to me.

Aren't there a couple of judges on the verge of retiring which would mean the next President will choose their replacement? Would you be happy to see judges chosen by Biden, or more likely Harris?

They are fully on board with the UN's population control agenda and will fund and promote abortion in developing countries with your taxes.

There's no guarantee that Trump will continue to support the pro-life cause in a second term when he isn't relying on support from the Evangelicals. Nevertheless, it's past time that faux Catholics like Biden got their comeuppance. If Biden wins you'll be plagued with his ilk for years to come and they won't get any less radical.
