I think you misunderstand the "tone," as did Booklady, apparently.

My attempt is to be clear. Bishop Lemay clearly states he is acting as Bishop of Amos. The quote was included. " I withdraw my support and that of the Diocese of Amos ..."

He also mentioned the collaboration with his Vicar General, by the way, so I don't believe it is just a case of the bishop vs. Fr. Rodrigue.

 

I would steer well clear of Fr Rodrique.

Well, Christy, I do apologize to you and everyone for writing the wrong name for Bishop Lemay. Nevertheless, thank you for bringing it to my attention, because I did not catch it cognitively, and I should have. I am old, but this could be the onset of something very bad for me.

Booklady, you and I are in the same decade, I think. It’s probably just normal for our age. Things change. Cognitively, I’m not the same as twenty years ago, but I’m normal for my age group. I’m not a nitwit. Yet.
So I wouldn’t think too much about it.

In response to your first question. It goes without saying Father Rodrigue is an ordained Priest. Unless a Bishop defrocks him he remains a Priest.

To be honest I find the nitty gritty picking apart everything to do with Father Rodrigue more than tedious, it quite frankly bores me.

The message he shared to get right in the sight of God, because we could be facing who knows what in the very near future, does not sound like a message we ought to ignore.

There is a piece on the front of Spirit Digest today, I think it is by the person who publishes the site to say among other things. Father Rodrigue's Bishop has been bombarded by people on the phone crying/panicking and no doubt others demanding he make Father R put up or shut up. I suspect the poor Bishop is sick to the back teeth having his diocesan duties bombarded with self proclaimed experts and other panic driven souls looking for him to tell them everything is business as usual, no need to repent. Best of luck with that. The Bishop does not know the future, as far as I can see, he doesn't believe in visions and supernatural things. I am sure he is a good and noble Bishop, just not into end times stuff. God bless him.

That is all I can say. We just need to pray for the Bishop, and all Bishops God give them the courage to proclaim the good news, and repentance.

I decided earlier on to go off on another trail and revisit Pelianito (Janet Glasson), who was always gentle Christianity, no shocks, no alarms!!!!!
It can get too intense sometimes, so a break or a change is as good as a rest. Now there is nowhere to hide.

A Facebook friend pointed this out to me. It's about Christine Watkins' book, The Warning. Christine is a lead author on the "Countdown" site, perhaps the person most responsible for promoting Fr. Rodrigue on social media and in her book.

We’re adding this to the list of things that are red flags regarding “The Warning” book and the Countdown to the Kingdom website. The Imprimatur on “The Warning” book is not the acting bishop, but a bishop emeritus. Also, the bishop who gives the Imprimatur should be of the diocese where the book was published. The book was published in Sacramento, CA, but the retired bishop who gave the Imprimatur is in Lipa, Philippines.

that this same bishop issued an Imprimatur for [non-Catholic mystic banned on MoG], who was censured by the Vatican.
