excuse me what!? 'The satanic verses of Muhammad'!? How will calling the verses satanic, or calling Allah Satan, ever benefit you or you're beliefs. What if what you're saying is wrong and Islam isn't Satanic? I don't agree with you, but for the sake of argument, even if what you said had some sense to it, what would it have accomplished?

…. And of course you get your knowledge of Catholicism from Catholic priests and theologians! Who would want to drink at the poisoned well of Islamic theology where so much time is wasted attempting to explain away the explicit and hysterical instructions to kill Jews and Christians and beat women which some of your co-religionists are happy to obey?

If you're not a Christian, you have no business here, unless you have a serious intention of converting to Christianity. I don't need an Islamic scholar to advise me on what is written in the Koran, defined by such scholars as the direct word of Allah, that Mahmut took a six-year-old as a wife but, gentleman that he was, didn't bed her until she reached the advanced age of nine. Anyway, why would I believe a scholar who has devoted his life to the study of a false religion, a confused, derivative heresy? Don't you know that 'crescent' represents a moon-god? If you're offended, the typical modern response of the censoriously-minded, well that's tough.

It will prove to be a big mistake allowing Islam and Mosques to spread in Ireland and Britain.

Islam is an alien religion in Ireland.

It is not compatible with Christian civilization.

Open border policies have been a disaster.

Ostensibly, yes...even sensibly! To unorthodoxly deploy the saying commonly-used by the late Ian Paisley, 'come into my parlour says the spider to the fly'. I strongly suspect that a future Christian revival, unimaginable now, but strongly prophesied, will convert most of these Mohammedans, many of whom cling to this barbaric creed through either ignorance (more easily maintained in technologically primitive desert environments) or a fear that is the fruit of the threat of execution for apostasy. As we know, 'Allah' is known to have contradicted himself and changed his mind-as our true and real God has stated, 'a house divided against itself cannot stand'. Ultimately, this 'god' of unreason will, like the moon-god he is derived from, bite the dust as he can only be inflicted through force of arms.

Some children of God are born into a creed that is far from the fulness of the truth. It may be that in the spiritual Arctic there's a long journey to be made into the light. But God will bring them there when His heart triumphs. The beloved children of God that hold Islam as their faith at least have one, albeit far from Christianity . There's a lot of 'nones' who hold no faith at all.
It'll be the Catholics of strong faith that'll have to do God's work in evangelising, when the time comes and boy will we need the Holy Spirit to help us.
Keep the faith and spread it by your deeds and words.
    God Bless.

If you desire to know the Truth of the Catholic Faith, in order to be saved, by all means stay and ask.

Catholics have a right and a duty to expose the errors and heresies of false religions on their own forums. We DO have enough collective knowledge here to expose the errors of the false prophets.

If you’ve come here to argue or try to convert Catholics, don’t bother. We ain’t buying what you have to sell. Please seek out alternative forums.

Do yourself a favour Eshal. Go and find a muslim forum to banter with. We have enough of our own Christian brothers and sister to banter with here on this Christian site.

Or better still. Find Sonia Azam 7 on You Tube and find out how a Muslim woman really gets treated if she dares to use her God given right to freely choose to follow the one true God made Man in the Person of Jesus Christ. Oh by the way muslims would kill her in cold blood. Satanic verses style.

Why would I not be offended by you insulting my religion and the Prophet(SWS) that I try to follow. If you saw a group of people calling Christianity Satanic would you just stand by? Where's your proof of a 'mood-god'?

With regards to you're claim of Muhammad (SWS) talking a 6 year old wife, (alot of what I'm about to say is based off of an article I read): The age of Marriage hasn't always been around 18. Let me explain something to you, this happened almost 1400 years ago. There were no hospitals. The Romans had a pretty high infant mortality rate. If that was the situation for the Romans-one of the most advanced civilization of the time-, then what about the Arabs? Woman would probably miscarry, and not to mention the risk of death that would come with childbirth. And what about any wars, famine, and disease that may have happened around or before that era? It would make sense for the people to marry at a younger age with the circumstances of life quality, as well as the climate and geographical location 14 centuries ago. If you're going to accuse one specific person throughout many others 1400 years ago of something, you should also take into account all of the people throughout generations and cultures, ex. Medieval times, who did exactly that, because it was a societal norm. Here is the article: well:https://yaqeeninstitute.org/asadullah/understanding-aishas-age-an-interdisciplinary-approach/

I find it quite odd that you've cherry picked this one event among many others that had taken place. This happened about 1400 years ago, and his marriage would've been considered normal. Now, in the 12th century, the excepted age of puberty was between 12-14, and with consent, over the age of seven in medieval Europe according to this wiki page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marriageable_age. And according to this website: https://www.gotquestions.org/marriage-age.html The age of marriage starting at the onset of puberty is strongly supported by the bible. So don't try to picture Islam in a certain way with something that the Bible may or may not be supporting of.

Again, we have the right to discuss Islam’s errors. This is a Catholic forum.

If it offends your sensibilities, go elsewhere.

Further attempts to “defend” your false prophet here will just get you banned, so please just walk away.

May God bless you and shed His Mercy upon you and lead you to all Truth.

Your taking offense is simply evasion, perhaps with a veiled threat of lodging the accusation of 'hate speech' to shut me up. Your misreading of 'moon-god' might be just a similar evasion-why is the crescent a symbol of your heresy? And it is a heresy, a mish-mash of contemperaneous Arabic paganism combined with defaced elements of Judaism and Christianity for the purpose of establishing the wordly power of your paedophile prophet. That you would defend the marital rape of a pre-pubertal nine-year-old by an old man in any century tells us the barbarising effect of your religion clearly enough. Typically, this lustful old man took multiple wives in utter contradiction of the Bible and this still wasn't enough for him-he lusted for a child, for puberty came even later in by-gone centuries which lacked our modern nutrition. And his lust began even when she was six, almost a baby. Of course, you like to infantilise your women, don't you, by genital mutilation? Your fellow-heretics all over the world, such as in Syria, Libya, Nigeria and elsewhere defend your religion by murdering every Christian they can meet and you have the nerve to invade a Catholic web-site and start ordering what we can or cannot say. This is our faith, the True One. I'd strongly advise you to take up Christ's Cross or face His Wrath. By the way, there is nothing worthwhile of Truth to be got from Islam, that I cannot receive in a far more Truthful form from the Bible.

I did not give you post a like because while you have every right to be annoyed by the person who played the 'offended' card, I noticed the person claimed to be 15 years old. If the age is honest, we are dealing with a teenager. Muslim teenagers are most likely no different to Christian teenagers, they need to do a lot of maturing.

I have blocked the user so as not to be tempted to respond ever again. I have redirected the user to Sonia Azam who is a muslim convert. On her You Tube there are a series of muslim expert discussions that I believe will open this young persons eyes to much of the Truth, and maybe he or she can learn something from Sonia who is an expert having been brought up in the muslim faith by a very loving good and decent muslim family, yet converted.

To be honest, I don't think the poster said anything too inappropriate, he was just on the wrong forum. We need to show Muslims the love of Jesus despite our religious differences. I think that discussions are valuable (likely just not on this forum.)

A few other interesting points. #1) In Islam, doubting your faith is considered a very high sin, which is part of what makes evangelization so difficult.

#2) I think Muhammad severely misunderstood the trinity to be Father/Son/Mary instead of Father/Son/Holy Spirit, which would lead me to believe these are not supernatural writings. This would be my starting point if I were to engage with the original poster.

"And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, 'O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, "Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?"' He will say, 'Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen,'" (Surah 5:116).

I would not waste my time having discussions with faceless strangers claiming to be muslims to be honest. Your posted quotes from the koran are gobbeldy gook to me. It is important to understand when someone uses the 'race' card or the 'offended' card, it is time to walk away.

The nonsense about them confusing the Trinity with Blessed Mother or whatever holds no water in my book. Muslims believe the Blessed Trinity is nonsense.

Muslims BELIEVE mohammeds revelations ABROGATE the Old and the New Testament. This means everything in the Old and the New Testament was cancelled/scrubbed out/overwritten, so Jesus might as well never have been born. Surely if you are a believing Christian, I don't need to say any more. Everything and everyone since Abraham and his bastard son Ishmeal has been trashed by the so called mohammed.

Their call to prayer includes a mantra that alla has no son, and mohammed is his prophet. Give me a break. It is poppycock to a believing Christian.

I can only see that detail in the little 'biography', which I've just examined, but maybe I've missed it in one of the posts. This person also identifies as female, which makes the defense of Mohammed seem even more disturbing-a defense which formed the main theme of her first post, I'd remind you.

I merely responded to her own assertions, as far as I can see, and if there were any untruths that anyone can point out in those responses, I'll delete them. But, the truth is no harm to one, no matter what one's age-it is all too apparent what she has already been exposed to.

The next logical step for a Muslim who is living a good and decent life is to convert, because such graces can only be sourced in Christ. I wonder if many more than we realise do so, but keep it secret out of fear?

In the present-day Middle East, to be marked out as a 'Nazarene' on your house is to be marked out for death. They also attack us for being 'polytheists'. They topple crosses and crucifixes, burn churches containing the Blessed Sacrament. They despise Christ.

Apart from two tempered replies by Kyle and Sean, I have never witnessed on MOG such direct, remorseless broadsides fired against a non-Christian before.

I certainly doubt that Eshal will ever choose to seek out Catholics to discover the true Jesus. It's a "good" thing, Julia, that you directed her to go to the Protestants!

For shame!(n) I remember a time when the Lord shocked his disciples by reaching out in love to the Samaritan woman.

John 4: 9 The Samaritan woman said to him, "How is it that you, a Jew, ask a drink of me, a woman of Samar'ia?" For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.
