Yes, I wanted to let people know. The quercetin is not expensive. But I think acting quickly was part of the answer. Some people have to wait over a week to get a diagnosis which means the virus has been working on them for awhile. At least the Dr. was willing to give him a zpac, and having the higher doses of zinc with the quercetin seemed to work for him. Lots of Dr's are talking about the right combinations for treatments. And Im reading lots of people have varying degrees of the illness and how it affects them.
So glad Katfalls about your husband. It is so ridiculous why they won't script for HCQ. People have taken it for long periods of time, think military, to avoid malaria with no ill effects at all. Makes me so mad. Thank you so much for the heads up on quercetin. I ordered to have on hand in case there is a run on this before Fall. I expect a very sick Fall/Winter season this year due to the masking and down grading of people's immune systems. Masking is not allowing us to come in contact with the things the immune system regularly combats and then the system "goes to sleep" so to speak. Not good when flu season coming up in a few months for us Northern Hemisphere peoples. We have stocked up on tonic water as well. Probably need to start drinking it as a hopeful preventative for the Fall/Winter. We have also started using Vit D, B-complex, Super C (which has zinc) also to help keep immune systems up and not down. And.....I try and go out everyday and I sneak my mask under my nose ( I know, not nice) to try and breathe in through my nose to breathe in normal life as well as get sunlight. Here in AZ some doctors are prescribing HCQ and some are not. The people who are only in this for $$$$ are being outed, shown for what they are. Very sad that we have become mere commodities on this planet.
Nothing would surprise me. Deep state scorched earth policy. They are really desperate to regain power.
Oh dear. May Our Lady bring her straight to heaven. Eternal rest grant unto her o Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls if the faithful departed rest in peace.
May she rest in peace. Thank you for sharing so much valuable information and Please God your husband will recover fully quickly
Katfalls, I’m glad the quercetin has been helping your husband, and I’m sorry to hear about the passing of your friend. I wanted to pass along the name of a product that really helped me during and after my coronavirus infection. It is ImmPower AHCC. I get it from Amazon. This product enhances the immune system and activates T-cells and natural killer cells to fight infection. Even though my coronavirus symptoms were mild, the post viral fatigue has been the most difficult part so far. Even now, almost 2 months later, I have days where I am just exhausted, especially after exertion. I take one Immpower in the morning and one in the evening. If I forget to take it, I feel very rundown. When we moved my son into the dorm last week, I felt fine. But in the aftermath of carrying boxes up several flights of stairs, I had coronavirus symptoms return for the 5-6 days afterward. I take many other supplements, but feel like I may be on of these people that deal with this virus long term. I already had health issues before this mess anyway. I’ll pray for a speedy recovery for your husband, Katfalls. May God bless you both!
Thank you! I just read about "long haulers"---those who suffer after effects after covid. Doctors don't know why or what to do about it. I pray you return to complete health!
I am awakened almost every morning in time to pray the Holy Land Rosary at 7:30 am on ewtn I offer it for the members of this forum and their family members. I also tack on the special intentions, which in your case will be speedy and complete recovery. My guardian angel doesn’t let me sleep in
Thank you and Thanks for the info! I will look into that. I'm thinking we have to step in and take care of ourselves anymore. Especially us older folks. My husband is 77. He is getting tired easily, but to be expected! At least he can get himself up off the couch now without my help. I really think what helped him the most was getting things into him immediately when he first got ill. Lots of people are ill for a week before they get to the Dr. and start getting help . . .then it's too late.
