  1. I have personally chosen not to use Unity Publishing as a source of information.

I don't criticize any of the Faithful or priests who take up Fr. Gobbi. I was in a cenacle for over a year til I discovered the Truth. Why would Gobbi or whoever edits these books keep changing Her words???

The problem is that (1) the words supposedly of Our Lady have been changed through the innumerable editions of the Blue Book and (2) Fr. Gobbi was forced to retract that these were from Our Lady. It was at best auto suggestion.

  4. Yes, but again, you were taking this from Unity Publishing. Please check around to other sources to get a more well rounded view.

I am not interested in double speak. An education is well rounded; stories, fables , and lies are well rounded. Locutions are true or not. Either the editions were falsified or not. This last is a very serious accusation.

As to Fr Gobbi, he was declared to have auto-suggestion. This is true or false, and I don't see it denied. If true, his writings are of the same worth as a novelist's. They are merely meditations. As they were propagated as Our Lady's words, it is deceptive.

Anyways. It should be easy to direct me to some refutation of Salbato. Imo these writings have done great harm to the Church.

  7. Bunch of hooey! Sorry! The Church approves of the Marian Movement of Priests.....priests and laity.....and prayer groups where the groups are based on reading of the messages. There is the international meeting of the MMP that is approved annually for meeting in Italy. There are also the approved national directors from whom newsletters go out to members. This is a great movement for Marian priests. Fr. Gobbi was a good friend of Pope JPII and used to concelebrate Mass with him.

I stay away from Unity Publishing and Salbato....very weird w/ the various hits and misses.

    MMP Lay Retreat – October 16-18, 2020

    June 19, 2020 - by Editor

Dear Brothers and Sisters in the MMP,

I thought this would be a good time to write to remind you that our annual MMP lay retreat will be held at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, Alabama from Friday, October 16 – Sunday, October 18, 2020. Registration is not required; however, please call or email our office if you will be attending so that we can have a general idea of how many to expect. Tel. (207) 398-3375 / Email: mmp@mmp-usa.net

Of course, we will be subject to the local Alabama state and county Covid-19 guidelines that will be in place at that time.

For a list of lodging facilities near the shrine, go to: https://olamshrine.com/lodging/

I pray that Our Lady is keeping you all safe during these difficult times. I very much look forward to seeing many of you in October.

In the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Our Mother

  8. I have read this much recirculated post from Ms. Kremski before and I have disagreements with her conclusions. Hopefully, I’ll get the time in the future, God willing, to explain specifically why. John, it seems you and I subscribe to different sources, so we may find it hard to agree.

    I added another link.

So, you do not deny that they are autosuggestions of Fr Gobbi which he pawned as words of Our Lady?

Did the words change in the editions?

The first is the official position of the Church. The second is a very believable accusation based on the first. You have not answered the questions.

There are myriad false cultsand false mystics doing mischief in the Church right now. No one is watching them. That is my concern.

Your replies do not give me confidence.

    God bless.

I had never heard of Unity press. Guess I wont bother finding out either.
On this subject I do know Fr Roux and he is a very humble and Holy priest.( he led MMP for years)

  11. Tough! And Gen. Flynn didn't lie but was forced to make certain statements in order to save the family.

The judges never seem to have anything to do with the reception of the messages but they know it all anyway! So what else is new!!

The Church stands where it does today, evidenced from the facts above, so go tell it to the Church! The MMP members are the best and the priests are those who fill the shoes of those our Lady predicted would be those close to her who would be criticized by those who are far from her.

It really isn't that hard to find the facts....just depends on your motivation!

    I did find them.

    That's why I am surprised.

The blue book is the result of Fr Gobbi's meditations. This is what the Vatican required him to agree to. Am I wrong? Is it something else? You are engaged in the petitio principii fallacy.

I HAVE NEVER QUESTIONED THE INTEGRITY of any priest or member of his group. The opposite as I have stated already. I have no problem with any priest or layman in the group until I posted today on this board.

To answer my own question which was sincerely asked.

It appears it is not an official CDF reproof of Gobbi if this is accurate. I have found Salbato very helpful in the past while not always correct.

In any case, it is very dangerous to adhere to unapproved prophecy as if it were Gospel. It does incalculable damage, as to my family. I have been personally burned too many times.

  14. Thank you for including this link, John. I read this along time ago and believe I am in need of a refresher. From what I recollect, it was very positive toward the MMP. Also, I can understand how you must feel having been affected in the past by these sorts of things. When it hits home, we get serious. But we always should pray for prudence. If we are properly disposed to it spiritually, God will provide.

    It's not just Salbato.

Many many claim that the prophecies never came true.

That's actually a very sure sign of falsity. It's been a few years since I went to a cenacle. So, I'll just drop the discussion at this point.

Over the last forty years my life has been positively impacted by the following claimed apparitions: Fatima, Akita, Garabandal, Medjugorje, MMP, and Our Lady of Good Success . Now I'm currently evaluating Luisa Piccarreta. Of those, Fatima and Medjugorje have produced the most fruit in my spiritual life and my family's devotional life. The first was due primarily to my Mom's influence, the second due to my family's 1987 pilgrimage.

My love for, and my confidence in Our Lady is rock solid, not to be moved. The above have helped to make it so, because they intersected my life at key times, and reoriented me to Mary! I could say similar things about various devotions centered on Jesus such as the Sacred Heart and Divine Mercy.

But my faith, hope, and love in and for the Two Hearts is not dependent on any of them. Prayer, Scripture, Eucharist, and daily life interactions are the wellsprings. The only other relationship which comes close is that with the Little Flower.

There were great and marvelous saints in the early centuries that bore much fruit without the benefit of the above claimed apparitions. For me to expend huge amounts of effort on proving or debunking any particular one of them, becomes ultimately a distraction and time not well spent because there will probably always be a well-meaning brother or sister who pushes back.

Jesus and Mary, I give you my heart. Make me holy in the power of the Holy Spirit for the Glory of God.

    Safe in the Two Hearts!

  17. I can concur as per my own experience, Mario. And I am beyond grateful to Our Lord and Our Lady that, understanding this child of theirs, they reached down into my own life throughout the years by way of their chosen prophets in order to keep me from straying off the path time and time again. Some days, it was Fatima; later, it was time to understand Garabandal and Our Lady of Revelation. Over time, these have all been superimposed onto one another like subtle layers of light that create a masterpiece that improves with age, that is, the Heavenly message of love. I only speak out when I believe something new and foreign has been introduced that seeks to disrupt that masterpiece of God’s revelations, as I am a protective custodian of what has been given to me. For me, it’s worth the chance that there may be a push-back because it preserves the integrity of what I have and may very well serve to lift a burden of confusion from some brother or sister in Christ. Legitimate private revelation bolsters one’s Faith; it is not a substitute for it. (Good night—very late here!)

You aren't wrong here. The predictions never came to fruition. That is a sure sign that they were not true messages.

To me, these messages belong in the same camp as Garabandal & Medjugorje. I rarely bother to post my objections to those messages because the risk to followers, in my opinion anyway, is very low. Fr. Gobbi did much good. his movement does much good. It is only when people take his messages - which have turned out to be false - and then use them as a basis for their personal timetables or understanding how thing will play out when I chime in and remind people of the situation.

and even then it is for those who lurk or stumble across these posts because it seems that little will sway those who already put their weight behind these places.
