    Another failed prophecy.

I am surprised so many people here believe it was the Mother of God who appeared at Garabandal.
Nearly all of you believe Vatican 11 has been a great failier for our Church.
Yet this alleged Mary of Garabandal said it will 'be a great success.'
Who is wrong? This Mary or us?

    So many failed prophecies.
Girls running over rocks with their heads far bent back is satanic.
Girls landing on their knees with such force is satanic too. God never forces.
Disguised as an angel of light, this mary hides the feet.
None of the girls join a religious life. In fact one marries a divorced man and another admit it was NOT the MOG who appeared.

Compare the differences with Garabandal and Lourdes/Fatima.

After seeing The Mother of God, Bernadette and Lucia's lives were changed where only a life of holiness as a humble, virgin nun was possible.
Lucia and Bernadette's family suffered greatly during the time of the apparitions.
    Mary showed her feet.
After a short while Mary showed proof of the authenticity of the apparitions.

After nearly 60 years the proof that Our Lady has given us is showing all the failed prophecies so we can desern so ever easily.

In these times, why trust in a warning that will never happen. This is NOT what St Faustina talks about when light flashes from one end of the earth to another. She clearly says this is the time of 2nd coming. No wonder the devil want us not to recognise His final coming.

It appears that the great deciever has been very active in the 1960's, planting his lies everywhere and watches the confusion with his lies.

Be careful where you recieve your information regards to apparitions. There are many promoters who will only tell you what you want to hear.
Google alternate views and there you will find truth just as we have to do in all world news.

Twisting failed prophecies just because you want it to be true is foolish.

I say this with all good intentions so we can all be people of truth.
    God Bless you all.

Marykelly, I think that it could be very soon but most probably 8 days after Conchita makes the announcement. :) Be ready and keep praying for the seers.

Bernadette, Thanks but this thread is not for debating about whether the apparitions are from Heaven or not. I think that everyone who believes in the apparitions of Our Lady of Garabandal can provide reasonable explanations for everything that you have pointed out and I do think that you make a good point about St. Faustina's prophecy about a cross in the sky and most people who believe in Our Lady of Garabandal do not believe that St. Faustina has prophesized about the Warning. In addition, the purpose of this thread is not to convince anyone of the authenticity of the apparitions of Our Lady of Garabandal, you are free to not believe and others are free to believe.

Thanks again and may God bless you also.

A major strike in my book against Garabandal was when Joey Lomangino died without receiving new eyes. The prophecy of Joey receiving new eyes was always understood to mean Joey receiving physical sight; it was only conveniently reinterpreted after he died. If Conchita dies before the alleged miracle taking place, I predict that promoters of Garabandal will once again reinterpret it to keep it going ad infinitum. Medjugorje follows a similar pattern where the apparition goes on and on with no supernatural miracle to confirm it and no end in sight. Major red flag in my book. The other red flag is that some promoters of Garabandal are overly sensitive to criticism and act like Garabandal is true when the fact is that Heaven has yet to confirm the veracity of the apparition with a Miracle. And it just doesn't seem like Our Lady to appear and then leave everyone hanging for decades wondering if she actually appeared.

Well, three modern day saints believed in Garabandal: St. Padre Pio, St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta and St. Pope John Paul II. So I am happy to believe in Garabandal along with these powerful saints.

I've been a fervent follower of Garabandal since I was 14 years old when I happened upon the book The Apparitions of Garabandal by F. Sanchez Ventura Pascual in the early 80s. I finally got to pilgrimage there in 2014 and my avatar photo shows me with the famous Garabandal devotee and promoter Maria Saraco who I met there one evening.
However, things changed for me when Joey died and I saw people scrambling for ideas and ways to still believe in the apparitions. So I began to question things.
As human beings we get a big thrill out of the spectacular, we put a great emphasis on major happenings or events. Is this why we wait for the miracle so much? Why would God grant us such a show of power by healing people by the thousands all of a sudden when there's millions out there just as deserving who may not have got the word to travel to the Cantabrian mountains on a specific day.
Even though I cannot wait to see the movie, I'm a member of Glenns page on FB and I regularly think of going back to visit Garabandal, there's still doubts. And I think that's healthy, to question and to probe something that may be leading us down a wrong road.
Yes, I aim to be there if and when Conchita gives us the nod eight days before but at this moment I'm sitting firmly on my fence.

    Who says?
I believe it is only the promoters. It certainly is not the Church.
Having a photo with Mother Teresa does not mean she believed. It may mean she was interested without knowing all the facts.
St Pio NEVER said he believed.
He told Joey to go with caution.

Glenn has all the documentation on his Garabandal thread on this forum if you want to read it. It won't probably change you mind once you realize it is true anyway, right? St. Mother Teresa was a Godmother to one of Conchita's children as well.

There can be no 'reasonable' explaination with any of the failed prophecies.

But be sure I understand you.
Those whom believe can state why they believe, but anyone who can state intelligent facts to prove otherwise are to be silent.
This is exactly what the left have been telling us when we want to speak the truth. It is....
'Be silent you are upsetting the way we want others to think!'

They wanted to silence Jesus, because he upset their mindset.

Believe as you wish. You are expecting a warning first because of false prophecy, but it won't be a warning, it will be judgement day, Jesus final coming.

From St Faustina diary. 'Woe to those who do not recognise My final coming.'
And that is why the devil came to tell us we will recieve a warning first.

B., I don't want to silence you at all, I was merely stating that this thread was not setup for the purpose of debating the authenticity of the apparitions. As you know there is another thread on MOG in which we have discussed all of the concerns that you have raised. Thank you for trying to help but I won't change my mind until Conchita announces the Miracle and the fulfillment of the prophecy does not take place. :)

I'm finally seeing hard questions being asked on this blog and I have much respect for Glenn allowing this. I believe these questions force "no matter what believers" to justify and explain why they believe Garabandal are legit and in turn their arguments help many of us on the fence. Glenn, please keep up this practice of allowing people to question things. God Bless.

One of the strong arguments for Garabandal is it speaks to many other alleged prophecies of our era in what is commonly referred to as the Catholic prophetic consensus. One can always misunderstand elements of a prophecy as the Jews did in reading scripture that Jesus fulfilled. And when Jesus came and even after all his public miracles and his prophecy of him being killed and rising his temple in 3 days, he was dismissed as a false prophet, yet even today by the Jews.

This is why the prophetic consensus to me is so important. It is many very holy men and women whom God has chosen, just as he did 6000 years ago to speak his plans forthcoming (Amos 3:7).

In my study of Garabandal nothing...Nothing was spoken contrary to Catholic faith teachings. And the few things like Joey being able to see the miracle with his own eye's is not over because he died. He will still see the miracle he spoke of with his eye's now in heaven. Yet a literalist will take their own subjective understanding of the prophecies to dismiss what they privately interpret them to mean and then dismiss them.

I replied to a post on Glenn's Garabandal FB page about getting to Garabandal prior to the Miracle. I wrote that the Miracle could be very soon because it is almost impossible to fly into Spain because of Covid 19. This, I wrote, mirrors what I've read in the past about how difficult it would be to gain access to Spain during the lead up to the event.
Some posters have said they've never read this and are looking for evidence. I know I've read about it somewhere and that has always been a cornerstone of my belief in the apparitions but as hard as I've tried I can't find anything about my assertions that it will be difficult. I'm looking for help from you here to help me out. Can ye point me in the right direction please. Maybe ye know of something I can look up. Thank you in advance.

Agree. I think it may come very soon. Conchita once said, that she would hope to make it to Spain for the miracle, but that she wasn’t sure if it would be possible.
