The states have those rights actually. It would be high handed to override them actually. The law is pretty clear.

Mario, I too feel certain that this election may result in civil unrest. Americans need to be prepared.
If a second virus hits, this will just be another layer of pain. Pray....+++

I totally agree...but I feel as though this prayer/rosary crusade will likely be led by the faithful laypeople...And I feel confident that it will.

Thanks, it's the proper attitude to have, AED! :cool:Fervently pray, and even if results are not initially what we prefer, remember that Jesus is King, never to be usurped!

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

  6. That’s great, AED! Let’s remember each other in the prayers, as well, if you think of it. The Holy Cloak Novena alone is quite hefty!

    Started today!

With the Holy Cloak novena going already and the freedom ring one, I'm skipping the seven sorrows one. I'm afraid I'd end up babbling in a corner:barefoot:

    Yes, unite our intentions!

At night I'm afraid I fall asleep in the middle.:(

  11. I’m thinking that’s the real power of this—everyone joined in it IS united against the evil one, in one strong voice lifted to Heaven including everyone’s sacrifices. Win/win!

  13. Just to understand, Fatima, since the way you wrote your post implied this, are you making the claim that you believe you have the gift of prophecy? Are you, in effect, saying that what you “called out” was due to this fact? Or have I misunderstood?

Yup.. I feel exactly like that AED!!! ALL I do, it seems ,is pray all day!! I get overwhelmed by it! Im thinkin that Heaven has purposely arranged this COVID 19 lockdown so that its "prayer warriors"have nothing else that they have to do ...like a 9 to 5 job for example... except pray for the dire needs at hand!

I dropped my FB acct and one of the casualties of that was not seeing Fr Heilmans Grace Force calls to battle. I saw him as a general leading his troops into battle. I did every one of his 54 day novenas and anything else he requested that we do .. So when I saw that he requested another "attack" I didnt get the memo ..so to speak. This is the first battle that Im not a part of
I have to admit..that I have so many prayer "agendas" going on now that I just couldnt do yet another one! Im over whelmed...battle fatigue I guess you could call it!!
I try to fit all my prayers in before noon, but for some reason or other I usually have just one more to do at bedtime! Yawn!!

Sometimes we have to stop and smell the roses. Or weed the garden, or take out the trash, etc etc, and that is prayer if we are in the state of grace and pray the morning offering.
We have lots of obligations, and Our Blessed Mother at Fatima asked for prayer and penance, but also the "sacrifice of our daily duties." And being past 70 years of age, I have greatly slowed down physically, and I lose my focus if I follow two many prescribed prayers. For some reason, thank God, I have been able to pray many rosaries. Just my two cents.

I am also doing it. I love the daily reflection.

We really need to double down on prayer and fasting and reparations. A friend forwarded the 40 Days to me and I decided to do it. :)

I am doing the same things AED. The Holy Cloak, Seven Sorrows and the 40 Day. It's a lot of prayers but our country surely needs them. We march on :)

    AidanK A great sinner

This forum is indeed intended to be "....solidly Catholic", however it needs to be recognised that not all postings are solidly Catholic though probably well intentioned.
