I try and remember to say many times to myself in a day...
"Jesus, I trust in You." It gives me strength and helps me to hold on to what is good.

    St Faustina's Diary...

186 +Today Jesus said to me,
I desire that you know more profoundly the love that burns
in My Heart for souls, and you will understand this when you meditate upon My
Passion. Call upon My mercy on behalf of sinners; I desire their salvation. When you
say this prayer, with a contrite heart and with faith on behalf of some sinner, I will
give him the grace of conversion. This is the prayer:
    187
"O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy
for us, I trust in You."
    .

PSS> YOU ARE RIGHT MS7! OOPS! WELL IT WAS THE COMPARISON OF THE TWO THAT GOT ME GOING ON THIS THREAD ABOUT THIS. OKAY, BACK TO ST. FAUSTINA'S DIARY DISCUSSION EVERYONE :)

I don't know, maybe, maye not?
I can't help but feel Garabandal's 'warning' takes us away from us realising it is Jesus coming in His unfathamable Divine mercy. This is what Jesus said. Is He wrong?

I suppose it would be good though, if this thread was dedicated to Jesus, Divine Mercy. :)

    "Jesus, I trust in You."

As I was just hanging my washing on the line.
I looked up at the sky recognising the strange way our clouds were forming during this summer season. While we can have storm looking clouds on hot days, we seem to have them alot more than usual.

Then I became worried. So then a prayer entered my head.

I want to ask the Lord to please have all my family home when the earth loses it's light and turns to darkness. I want to be with them to assure them there is no need to fear. I may need to remind them to accept Jesus coming in His unfathamable Divine Mercy. To remind them to praise Him and to go through the door of mercy.

If I was to be given only one wish, it would be...

I want to enter into the new paradise where there is no pain with my husband and children. How horrible would it be knowing one or some of your children didn't recognise Jesus' coming and were left behind.

My job as a mother is never done. My job in obedience to God is never done.

    "Jesus, I trust in You."

After posting this. I had a feeling come over me.....
Jesus will take my family all together.

    The mercy He shows! Wow!
He says, He will come in His unfathamable Divine Mercy.
No wonder He says 'unfathamable', because it is hard to fatham.
No wonder He says to 'trust in Him'.
No wonder He says 'Be not afraid."

    "Jesus, I trust in You."

You know, after the three days of darkness. There will still be a few unbelievers left who will have converted during this period of darkness, or certainly by the third morning when they walk outside.

I believe in my whole heart that these ones will be the ones whose families have been praying for them. In particular the Rosary and Divine Mercy (am not saying will just be by these prayers) as there are wonderful promises attached to these and God fulfills ALL His promises. :)

God says, if you love me and keep my commandments I will bless you to the 1000th generation. :)
I am not worried about my family at all. I trust God completely. :D

No. I did not know this.
Where did you get that information from?
As I was always in the understanding after the 3 days of darkness only the faithful will have entered the new life. But I really don't know. So I would appreciate to know how you know this?
Is it your feeling on it?
Or did St Pio give this information?

    So many mysteries. :)

In all honesty, I cannot remember where I read this. It spoke of the Era of Peace too where people would live more simple, honest, lives.

I need to double check where I read this, was a few years ago now, and I will get back to you. :)

    Thanks.
You know I have so many statements in my head.
So many, and most of them I don't know where I got them from. I am sure they are from many unapproved prophecies. I want to get rid of these as they have caused me so much confusion. o_O

Someone who knows St Pio's words well, will tell us what happens after the 3rd day of darkness. :D

Oh.... I was looking for this prophecy to Padre Pio but the sites that were promoting it were from condemned so called seers. Bayside prophecies being on. So, I have discarded that.

I have read a lot on Padre Pio, whenever I see a book, I devour it. But I get so caught up in his response to God's love and living out this love that it is his heart that I seek in order to learn from him rather than messages etc..

I told him he was my spiritual father years ago. He didn't get a choice!! ;) I was a kid then and a very confused one too, so I doubt very much that he refused. Both him St Therese, Mother Therese, St John the Baptist have all been instrumental in the gift of my faith and my response to it today. :)

Having said all that, I have found you a link on Padre Pio on the EWTN website, all about him etc.. What you are looking for, may just appear here. (y)

p.s I know that he accepted me as a spiritual daughter, but now that I am older, I don't get away with being cheeky about it .. and have to pray the same as everyone body else. :D

  11. I remember years ago reading an article on the effects of the industrial revolution had on people's faith, and times long past them they worked the fields they had time to pray & give glory & thanks to God & his wonderful creation. I forget what the article was called

    That is very true Jayne.

First the idiot said, let us make them believe that they need more than they have, and cause people to be so greedy and dishonest that wives are forced to go back out to work..

When that was accomplished... they then said... let us force shops to be opened on Sunday...It will be so easy to do so, now that everyone really believes that they need more than they actually do, and shopkeepers are only to happy to fill their pockets with gold.. We will then have taken away that one day that families have to be together properly.

When they had done that, they said... let us invent little machines now that everyone can afford them, so that everyone will go around with music in their ears.. It will dull their consciences and drown out any would be guilt from their misdeeds..

Another piped up, oh yes... let's do that... then they all be in the same room but not really together as they are preoccupied with their phones etc, and we will have really broken down communication in the family...

Oh yes... and mothers too will be out walking with their babies in their prams whilst listening to music that there is no talking, no communication, no noticing flowers, trees, colours together with their babies/children..

These children will then grow up feeling very lonely..

No communication, no relationship, no recognizable love...

    What a sad world.

I believe it has been established that St. Padre Pio never mentioned the "three days of darkness" prophecy, and that references to him referring to it are forgeries that originated in the 1960's.

    Really?
    Are you absolutely sure?
    I am flabbergasted.

Jon, I don't mean to sound disrespectful to your understanding, but I'd love to hear if anyone else agrees with you or not.

There is so much hearsay out there. Hearsay about certain saints saying this or saying that. o_O How are we to follow?

Thanks Jon, for giving this information.

I would say Jane, by buying good authentic books. :) A book on Padre Pio by one of his attendees would be a good place to start. :)

I am very dubious about getting information off the internet etc. It can be a bit of a mine field, and articles are more easily doctored. They can also be taken right out of context.

I was surprised to read that the runaway Church actually believe that Catherine Emmerich's predictions about a future pope not being recognized was about them!!!

I'm sure there are more direct sources to cite, but here are a few after a short search:

Jimmy Akin cites Desmond Birch's book which contains definitive statement against it from St. Pio's Capuchin order:
    http://jimmyakin.com/2010/01/a-read...it-authentic-or-just-regular-pious-writi.html

This blog has text of a letter written from the Padre Pio Center of North America (www.padrepio.org) explaining that it was forgery (to someone who sought the answer from them directly), but correctly attributes the prophecy to Anna Maria Taigi:

Thanks Jon, I will read them tomorrow, it's getting late here.

But Jon, why didn't you pick me up on this when I wrote a 'timeline'?
I am happy to be shown if I am wrong somewhere. So don't hesitate in doing so.
One thing I can't stand, and that is following a lie.

I encourage anyone to show me factual resource if I seem to be on the wrong track. :)

    ..sorry...I think I was distracted...

Couldn't sleep early this AM, so just started reading online. It is now 5:50 AM here. Have to go to Mass at 6:30 before a major snow storm hits in about 2 hours.
