An interesting fact that I've noticed - every day this video gets about 2000 views.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Just to give you a heads up, for our Day of Consecration (which will be this coming Wednesday March 25 - the Feast of the Annunciation):

According to St. Louis de Montfort, at the end of the 33-day preparation we should go to Confession and receive Holy Communion with the intention of giving ourselves to Jesus Christ as slaves of love, by the hands of Mary.
After Communion, we should recite the consecration prayer; we ought to write it, or have it written, unless we have a printed copy of it; and sign it the same day the consecration is made.

    Also,
it would be well that on this day, we should pay some tribute to Jesus Christ and our Blessed Lady, either as a penance for our past unfaithfulness to the vows of baptism, or as a testimony of dependence on the dominion of Jesus and Mary. This tribute should be one in accordance with your fervor, such as a fast, a mortification, an alms, or a candle. If but a pin is given in homage, and given with a good heart, it will be enough for Jesus, who loves only the good will.

Tomorrow, Wednesday March 25 2020, is the Feast of the Annunciation, and the day to make our Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary.

Julia Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

18.55pm I am just waiting for my husband to say it is time to read the Consecration prayers. He has said the whole 33 days of preparation for Consecration, which is more than a little miracle in itself. So I won't nag him to get on with it, just waiting for him to get the book out. Hope there is no football on the telly otherwise that will delay the Consecration even later. Ah well! such is life.

The Sensus Fidelium channel on youtube has begun uploading videos on the St. Maximilian Kolbe way of Consecration to Our Lady. I think today is the third day. I'm hoping that they will put all the videos together in a playlist when they have completed the 9 days. I'm posting the video for the first day on this thread. Anyone who wants to follow the St. Maximilian method can find the rest of the videos on Sensus Fidelium channel. They have reminder markers for upcoming days.
I've forgotten how to post the link and not the full video, so apologies to the site admin for taking up bandwidth. Here's the video for Day 1:

I'm editing this because I posted the video without having listened to it. Had I played the video before posting it, I would have known that it's a nine day preparation for Consecration rather than the usual 33 days.

Thank you Dolours! I was actually saying to myself the other day, it’s time again to consecrate myself....never did the St. Maximilian one. I’ve always said this but now it seems more poignant....I want to be a soldier for our Lady!

Thanks SgC. I was too lazy to search out the previous post where you explained it to me and was too embarrassed to ask you to explain it all again.
You're welcome Rosalia. I had just completed the St. Louis deMontford 33 days before the lockdown but I might try the St. Maximilian Kolbe method next time. Please note that the video I posted is not for a 33 day preparation. It's only for nine days. I hadn't realised that when I posted it. I sincerely apologise to anyone who was misled by my previous post.

Dolours, you know it’s my pleasure to do what little I can :)
I’ve edited that post above to add the image of the BB code thing because it doesn’t show up in the quote.

Thank you for posting this video Dolours (forum post 114).

Are we not supposed to post videos, but just the links ! I will have to get some help from my grandson to do this. I saw the instruction from SGCatholic (y) on how to do this in a post above, but will still need hands on help to make it happen.

I wish there was a way to save Consecration videos not just the links, and make them easy to find on the forum. I suspect there are a good number of visitors who are not able to do the techy things, and would miss out on many beautiful devotions if they had to follow links.

If important videos were posted, then the thread blocked so no further posts could be put in, it would mean the videos were always visible when anyone wished to use them. I mean for devotional videos like the 33 day preparation for Consecration which you posted earlier this year. Thank you for that.
