The Third Secret of Fatima and Corruption in the Church.

  1. Ahh here it is from Fr. Malachi Martin, I'll just copy and paste it from another forum:

Book: The Eternal War, interviews with Malachi Martin by Bernard Janzen. The interviews were recorded in 1991, and they were published in this book in 2004.

I found two snippets that were interesting. The first is about Russia and salvation coming from the East. The second is about papal resignations and a liberal pope. I'm beginning to think Fr Martin was right, just slightly off in his timetables.

From page 15 in the aforementioned book:
"Salvation is going to come from the East. ... It is going to come because God has chosen Russia as the place to make the first great change and this will teach the world. God's plan will work, not because this land is Russia, but because He chose to convert Russia at the last moment before the final crackup which will swallow us all up."

I can't believe Fr. Malachi Martin who died in the 1990s is so nearly correct!

He always denied prophetic gifts but time has shown him to be a true prophet.

  3. Yes, even Taylor Marshal who was not a believer in Fr. Malachi Martin before, was surprised to know that some information in Fr. Malachi Martin's books have been truly prophetic!

I was a bit miffed with Taylor after he mockingly dismissed MM. Some deep research reveals a real vilification and disinformation campaign against him as soon as he left "the other side" and started sounding the warning.

  6. I agree and had similar feelings after watching that video when it came out. They showed a bias from the get go and some of what they said was based on bad info and, I felt, in bad taste as Father is no longer alive to defend himself. Just muddied a bit the memory of a deceased priest in the minds of some who didn’t know anymore. They needed more research before putting that one up. IMO, they didn’t want to look like loonies wearing “tinfoil hats”.

Exactly, they failed in their research, and the truth is out there.

MM was an unusual priest so I heard. He turned down bishopric job or even a red hat. He was alnost destined for the high places.

I met a priest deceased long ago similar to MM. He was odd and eccentric as he wore 1940 shoes. He quit the Vatican curia job as he was friends with pope Paul vi. He got his permission to leave just like MM did before. Both were devoted to Latin Mass which I didn't understand it that time in 1988.

The more I learned about him and his hometown 70 mins drive from here. His gift was biblical languages as he had examined bible scrolls. He was natural in languages. He was an advisor to cardinal bea in opening of VII. Then few years after vii as he quit and left it all together.

The interesting bit was his involvement in exorcism and his brother priest who saved wood Quay from demolition re his archeology work in Dublin. I didn't make the connection until tonight re two brothers.

There were dark forces who tried to damage his reputation by pointing out his friendship with lady who looked after him and buried next to each other in the grave.

  9. Anthony Stine at “Back to Tradition” asked whether it was possible that Father Martin had been secretly ordained a bishop. He points to a photo taken of him in which he is wearing the traditional cassock of a Roman bishop (note crimson near his collar). It’s at about the 45:56 time marker of the linked video. I’d definitely listen to the entire talk.

I believe he was already a Bishop but no proof. NYC diocese couldn't go against him as it was referred to Rome. Then NYC diocese shut their mouths ever since and even allowed him to do exorcisms in NYC. The Vatican couldn't shut MM mouth as well cos he had some support coming from some high ranking cardinals inside the Vatican which might explain it in some way. MM was received by St John Paul 2nd privately some three years before his death.

In his novel Vatican written in 1983 he has a character who somewhat resembles himself and who was secretly ordained a bishop by PVI. And who also had a close friendship with a woman that was only friendship but misunderstood by others. It's a fascinating look at Rome and the Church through those tumultuous years of VII and before--from Pius XII to JPII.

The reason his enemies, and he had many, went after Fr. Martin was because he was a very popular writer of fiction and non-fiction, who alerted the faithful about what was happening at the Vatican and other places of Catholic power. They are the source of scurrilous allegations which have since been proven wrong. Read his bestseller Windswept House, and you would think that he had written that book today. He claimed that he used the novel format which while fictional was based on true facts, like Taylor Caldwell's "factional" works. In that way he could say the truth and not be killed.

My husband's favorite is Father Malachi's history of the Catholic Church, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Church. This is a history of the organization of the Catholic Church since Peter until John Paul II.

And the book that probably was the reason why he left the Jesuits, The Jesuits: The Society of Jesus and the Betrayal of the Roman Catholic Church.

But the most popular of Malachi Martin's book was about the exorcism of five living Americans, Hostage to the Devil, about his work as an exorcist. This was made into a documentary recently.

I agree Booklady. They couldnt stop him but they tried to defame him and slander him and sadly it worked. Many otherwise good priests believed the lies--Fr Groeschel for one--although he later retracted much of it because it had proved false.

I have mixed feelings about Fr. Malachi Martin. I'm not convinced that he didn't work for, if not Mossad, Jewish interests which didn't have the best intentions towards the Catholic Church. He certainly was very close to Cardinal Bea who curried friendships with Jewish leaders despite being told by the Vatican to cease and desist. Cardinal Bea was no traditionalist. If he was a strong advocate for the release of the third secret of Fatima and consecrating Russia to Our Lady's Immaculate Heart, I haven't heard about it, least of all from Malachi Martin. Nor have I ever heard a word of criticism from Fr. Martin about Cardinal Bea.

It's also a red flag for me that the Jewish publishing house published all his books and I'm not convinced that cleaning evil from within the Church was what motivated him to write those books. I don't know whether he had a sexual relationship with a married woman when he was a young priest but if he did, it isn't an unforgivable sin and he wouldn't be the first priest to have committed such a sin. At least he didn't try to justify adultery on the grounds that everyone's doing it, which seems to be the prevailing opinion in the Church today. I think it very possible that he was part of the liberal cabal which set out to destroy the Church, perhaps due to Cardinal Bea's influence. It's also possible that something turned him against the modernists. Then again, he could have used a facade of traditionalism for his own ends. He certainly fell out of favour with the modernists, bringing their wrath down upon him.

Reading the attached, it looks like Malachi Martin was a rogue, a liar, a fake exorcist and an all round bad egg: http://www.paleoorthodoxy.org/2019/04/the-truth-about-malachi-martin.html
If Fr. Martin really did tell Art Bell that native American shamen can conduct exorcisms (drive out evil spirits), that's enough for me to discount anything else he says although it probably isn't a great deal different than the beliefs of very prominent people at last year's Amazon Synod. The author of that piece is an Anglican priest. Other people mentioned in the article are:
    - John Grassmeier of Angelqueen. From what I can find out, John Grassmeier is a US army veteran and a Catholic traditionalist who runs or ran a Catholic discussion forum (I can find articles about the forum but not a current link to the forum itself). Mr Glassmeier has published the attached about what seems to have been rather a shady arrangement between Fr. Martin and some Jewish interests: http://angelqueen.org/articles/07_06_martin_ajc_connection

    - M. Scott Peck, psychiatrist cum author cum convert to some form of Protestantism. Mr. Peck seems to have tried his hand at exorcism and wrote a book "Glimpses of the Devil" which he dedicated to Malachi Martin. Here's a link to a scathing review of the book in 2005 from Fr. Richard Woods, OP, Professor of Theology at Dominican University, Chicago (published in the National Catholic Reporter): http://www.natcath.org/NCR_Online/archives2/2005b/042905/042905m.htm
Pretty damning stuff about Scott Peck and Malachi Martin, but then I came across this reference to Fr. Woods who wrote the review: https://torontocatholicwitness.blogspot.com/2015/10/the-homosexual-takeover-of-roman.html

The likelihood of the whole truth about Fr. Martin being revealed probably died with him. There's probably bits of truth to everything written about him, both good and bad. Fr. John Hardon, SJ, was one of the better Jesuits and he said that Fr. Martin was right although it was hard to tell whether Fr. Hardon meant that he was right about the Church or right about the Jesuits. I suspect he was referring to Fr. Martin's opinion on the situation in the Jesuit Order.

I don't know which of Fr. Martin's siblings was the "brother in Dublin" who was said to have been approached by four women and one man claiming to have had a relationship with him. I suppose it could have been his brother, Fr. F X Martin who was an Augustinian priest in Dublin and a Professor in UCD. The brothers Martin certainly knew how to network and to draw attention to themselves.

F X made a name for himself campaigning to preserve a viking archaeological site in Dublin. He had some success although the "monument to ugliness" that is the city office building was completed and remains an ugly building. The Augustinian church with lovely stained glass windows not a mile from the city offices is also something of a monument although to times past - times when Catholic churches in Ireland were packed with faithful before the apostasy which began in the priesthood and Catholic academia spread to the laity. According to the attached, F X "took great pride in being an Augustinian and felt great loyalty to that order. He saw himself in the tradition of Martin Luther who was an Augustinian friar before he became the great reformer". https://www.jstor.org/stable/25549875?seq=1 Mary Robinson was his legal representative back in those days.

I won't be praying for the intercession of either Martin brother any time soon although if I were to choose one it would be Malachi who is known to have brought Catholics back to the faith. I reckon that the Lord is more pleased with priests who save souls rather than those who save historical artefacts but then what do I know? I'm just an uneducated Catholic witness to the near death of the faith in a country that once sent missionaries throughout the world. I will offer a prayer for the repose of both their souls.

Looking back on the near annihilation of the Faith particularly in Europe, I can't help but recall what Sr. Lucy said about everything becoming clearer in the 1960's. What baffles me is the blindness of our hierarchy. Or perhaps it wasn't blindness but something far worse.

I certainly can identify with your ambivalence Dolours. I have these questions myself although I thsnk God for MM because stumbling upon his books in the early 70's brought me back to the Catholic faith. They provided an intellectual conversion to my emotional conversion to Christ. They also explained and put into context what I was seeing in the Church upon my return. It helped me navigate those very choppy waters.
I simply dont know what to think about all these conflicting reports. Fr Hardon appears to have worked with Fr Kunz and Fr Martin investigating the satanic pedophilia in the clergy. Fr Hardon called Fr Kunz a martyr. He was murdered. The killing had ritual elements. I should pray for MM's soul. I dont know why I dont. I have a whole list of priests who have died that I pray for. I just dont feel inclined to. Strange. I guess I'll ask the Blessed Mother to show me if I should.

I think Martin was very smart. Having the Mossad backing him was a great benefit to keep him alive long enough to write his books.
It was a dangerous time during the 60’s, and Martin did great spy work. His books unveiled many evils, that nobody thought possible. And for that I’m grateful. Even if he wrote against the hierarchy to save his arse, it still benefited many.

Archbishop Viganò: Our Lady warned of ‘great apostasy’ in Church followed by risk of World War III
'All the evidence shows that we have entered this time of trial, a decisive test'

June 2, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, in an interview with LifeSiteNews (read full interview below), explains the history of the apparitions of Our Lady in Civitavecchia, Italy which took place 25 years ago. During these miraculous events, Our Lady referred back to her apparitions and messages in Fatima, and she warned that Satan is out to destroy the family.

Additionally, Our Lady spoke about the apostasy in the Church, the darkness that overshadows Rome, the need to consecrate Italy to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, adding that “the world is becoming more and more a prisoner of Satan's darkness and evil, without sparing numerous servants of the Church.” She also spoke of the risk of a third world war following the apostasy.

Our Lady spoke to the Gregori family, after their statue of Mary had started to shed tears of blood on February 2, 1995. She made clear that this apparition is linked to her apparitions in Fatima. She stated: “My children, the darkness of Satan is now obscuring the whole world and it is also obscuring the Church of God. Prepare to live what I had revealed to my little daughters of Fatima”
