Mario, please provide your thinking into this message being a failed prophecy, since as you say it seemed to indicate Pope Benedict would be the Pope when this message would be fulfilled. Yet it does not mention Pope Benedict, only that the Fatima request for the rightful Fatima consecration with the pope and bishops would fulfill the prophecy. My take is, this rightful consecration of Russia will not take place till the church has become purified and it becomes very small, but very holy. This purificaton of the wolves in sheeps clothing has not taken place, but after it does, the consecration will come. I believe we are very close to this time and when it happens we will see the Fatima consecration done and fulfilled. I believe it will take place shortly after a major, short but very deadly war, or possibly after the Warning. The faithful shepherds will surely be united then and it will happen.
Context is important, Fatima. I believe the Pope mentioned in the 9/25/o7 message and the 10/17/07 message are the same. The relevant sections are below. Now we know that Benedict is the Pope mentioned in the second prophecy since the 10/17 message explicitly says so. Now the Pope in the 9/25 message is not explicitly named, but it is safe to assume it is also referencing Benedict because the second highlighted sentence is not about a future Pope; the sentence is in the past tense. Now in both of these messages Benedict is specifically mentioned as God's instrument to purify the Church and this purification is necessary in order for the specific Consecration to Russia to be accomplished. It appears to me (opinion only) that the prophecies imply that once Benedict finishes purifying the Church the Consecration of Russia as requested by Our Lady would be fulfilled. Certainly I was excited about this because I first read these two prophecies before Benedict's surprise resignation. So in my thinking, not only does the purification remain incomplete, but I believe it has gone in reverse during the current Pontificate. I know of no where in the stream of GSWYL messages where this unexpected twist of the resignation is addressed nor how the purification will be handed off to someone else to complete. Therein lies my doubt. 9/25/07 ...My son, while my people argue over the validity of the consecration of Russia, many souls are going to hell. Do not allow yourself to be caught in Satan’s trap. The consecration has not taken place. It will take place. The message of Fatima was primarily concerned with repentance and the salvation of souls. The consecration of Russia is a message addressed to the Pope and bishops of the world. Pray my Holy Spirit will give the Holy Father the strength and wisdom to overcome the forces fighting against him. My son, I am gong to tell you why the consecration of Russia has not yet taken place. My church was not purified of the evil forces hiding among the clergy. Remember the Pope and bishops of the world are required to make the consecration. In the past, there were to many Bishops who were rebellious against the Holy Father for the consecration to have taken place. My Holy Spirit has led the holy Father to purify my house. Once my church is purified and my house is in order, you will see the consecration of Russia done. 10/17/07 ...My people all of the scandals, which are taking place in my church, are part of the purification and casting out of the dragon from my church. For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed: nor hidden that shall not be known (Luke 12:2). My church will once again be the light to the nations. Please read the last part of Apocalypse 12:4. It states: And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered: that, when she should be delivered, he might devour her son. Now, my people read Apocalypse 12:5: And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with an iron rod. And her son was taken up to God and to his throne. My church is to rule the nations spiritually through my vicar, the Pope. These verses are literally being fulfilled before your eyes. Pope Benedict XVI is the man-child elected through the power of the Holy Spirit to rule with a rod of iron. My son, the Pope is my instrument being used to purify my church. His recent proclamations and decisions are setting my church on the narrow road to heaven. Once his mission is accomplished, he will be taken home to be with his Lord and Master. Then, my people you will see the fulfillment of Daniel 12:11: And from the time when the continual sacrifice shall be taken away and the abomination unto desolation shall be set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred ninety days and Apocalypse 12:6: And the woman (or my church) fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared by God, that they should feed her, a thousand two hundred sixty days. Good comments Mario. I think sometimes we think in a box. I know I have and then come to understand what God is doing and what he has revealed through his prophets can be literal or figurative. When one person reads "purification" it can be assumed there is a one time event and in some events like the three days of darkness, it is a one time event, but it can be used in a general way too, like ongoing natural disasters foretold in many prophecies. In the 9/25/07 message you posted, it clearly states the necessity of the faithful to pray for Pope Benedict that he may have the strength and wisdom to fight against the forces against his teachings. One could argue that he was subdued by the evil around him both in the Vatican and throughout the hierarchy in general with constant undermining his explicit requests. He did say, at one point, "my authority stops right here at this door" referring to him giving instruction and not going any further than his office. Had his will been executed by the hierarchy and clergy, God's mercy would have won the day. Some believe this is why he resigned. I feel he resigned because not enough prayer for his intentions were made and him realizing his role as the Fatima "bishop in white" would be best prepared for in prayer and penance so he resigned to do as much. There is no doubt in my mind he has had a very close and intimate conversation with heaven, even well before his papacy. It remains to be seen who the pope is that will consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Could it still be Emeritus Pope Benedict? I suppose it could be, if Pope Francis were to die ahead of him and the Church is 'Popeless'. There is simply to many possibilities for us to say for certain how these "end-times" plays out literally. For me, I have no doubt Emeritus Pope Benedict's mission is not through and I believe he knows it. I believe he stepped aside to prepare for these times and we won't know for certain until this chapter of human history is written .

Time is literally disappearing away. March barely registered. April was Holy Week and Easter and DM Sunday. May? I've nothing to anchor it to. It's simply gone. What is going on?
I know, one day blends into the next, weekdays seem no different than weekends. When I wake up in the morning I don’t even know what day it is. Our churches are reopening here tomorrow, this is the best thing that’s happened since the shutdown began.
