Yes. The promoters will always repeat the prophecies that come true. Funny how they hide or twist what doesn't come true.
Are you aware of the messages that have been proven false with MDM?

I believe Jesus, Mary and God the Almighty ALWAYS get it right.
So once a prophecy is predicted that doesn't come true, I no longer believe.

Satan know much of the future.
Good thing ONLY the Father knows when He will send His Son again.

Getting caught up with many prophecies everywhere can set the mind in a whizz. Even if they were all true. We need to watch that we don't end up following the seer rather than God whom they are serving (if they are true) I am generalizing here.

I wonder if we read our Gospels as much as we do all these various messages? This is not a slur or a judgement. Daniel states the removal of the perpetual sacrifice, it is also mentioned in Revelations and in Mark I think? Martha and Mary is a reference to putting what is important first.

How many of us are rushing to spend time with Christ in the Tabernacle whilst we have this privilege? If through the various messages we aren't sitting hungering for our Gospels and wanting to spend time with Christ in the Tabernacle or wherever He is exposed if we are fortunate enough, then something is amiss.. Either with the sensationalism of the messages or our hardness of heart, being curious about all the events whilst not opening our hearts truly to God.

It concerns me that so many know of these prophecies, yet my Church is open all day and we get more hindus going in to pay homage to St Anthony than we get Catholics going to visit their friend/brother/father/counsellor/their all in The Blessed Sacrament.

We have adoration from 6:30 am until 10:30 at night, and in order to make this possible we have to almost beg people to spend an hour a week in adoration.

What is going so wrong? Many are aware of the messages etc, I am not talking about those who don't believe, but those who read with interest and want to know every sign of the times, but don't spend as much time with Christ.

    This is concerning..

With regards to reading messages as a whole, I don't think that we are supposed to dismiss some from the same person whilst listening to others. If there are one or two that are questionable, then one should stop reading.

The best made dress will unravel with a loose thread.

In some of her messages, it seemed to me that Mother Mary was encouraging America to use it's mass weaponry to threaten other Countries were much wrong was being done.

Two wrongs don't make a right. God calls people to Himself through love, through His sacrifice.

So, for me, I can't take MDM's messages on board.

We have to take everything in when making decisions, and this message about threatening others is not in keeping with the Gospels at all.

  4. Jon,
I too believe that the Church has to -and is about to, I think- endure the passion and crucifixion like our Lord. This is stated in the Catechism of the Catholic Church so we are not inventing anything by saying this.

I've marked a paragraph in your post, which I think is particularly relevant to these locutions: God always prepares His people for special interventions. The shepperds and the Maggi were among the very few who believed and responded to the announcement. King Herod and his officials also knew the prophecies but didn't receive them in their heart, rather they used them to manipulate and ultimately to try to kill the Messiah King.

And yet those who believed they were filled with JOY.

I have to say that this is how these locutions make me feel: deep and profound JOY. Not because all is well but because GOD IS IN CHARGE even though things are going to get from dark to black -so to speak.

It makes such a sense of a Divine Plan what these few locutions reveal. For one thing this means that God is stepping in in placing God's special Servant for this time on duty. It is going to be a HUGE surprise for the world -some unknown (obscure? to some people's standards) man. For many this might be the perfect excuse to call a fraud and to not accept God's Pope -in one way or another. Image the laughter of many at a Pope who would be paying attention to Marian apparitions!!!
But for those of us who are willing to be surprised by God, this is a confirmation ahead of time.

So even if the Church seems to have been destroyed as a result of whatever is ahead -the crucifixion- I hear in these locutions a message of courage, of love, of power and humility, of certainty of God being present with us, and a confirmation of all the "do not be afraid" that we hear through all the books of the Bible, and through all contemporary seers.

I can't imagine the devil creating messages of such deep faith, hope, and love.

And yet we see messages with huge audience from other source where they claim that the next Pope will not be a true pope. Why? Just because they say so. And they disregard Christ promise in the Gospel about Peter, the Rock.

Of course there may be also a false pope or antipope -and the schism you mention, which we hear in prophecies. But God will not allow us to fall into the trap if we remain faithful and humble, prayerfully hidden in the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

  5. It's true that we will have to wait and see -hopefully in prayer. But I also think that we might not really "see" what is happening.
The happenings and discussions during the conclave are top secret protected under thread of excommunication. Also the extraordinary event that the locutions speak of during the time of the conclave may be apparent ONLY to the cardinal electors, we don't know.

What I mean is that we may or may not have any prove of the authenticity of these locutions in the coming weeks -except, maybe, the length of the conclave itself. We may come to Holy Week still without a Pope etc. who knows!!

In any case I think that the sense of expectation and hope that these locutions provide is already a gift of God to us, and an invitation to trust no matter what. And very especially, they are telling us that all the people that know so much blah, blah, blah, in the Media and everywhere, they really know NOTHING about what is really happening. God is the Master of History, not them.

Don't confuse me with an MDM promoter. I have just stated that I can not call myself a believer in MDM. And a couple prophecies that came true don't equate to me becoming a believer. (Because, as you said, I'm sure there are others that did not come to pass, though not sure that their respective times have expired. I have not looked that closely). By the way, has there been a condemnation of MDM by the bishop?

However, I pasted that message as an example of another questionable private revelation that stands in contrast to the one being HEAVILY promoted here and now. I find these private locutions (listed in this thread) from this "unknown" seer just as troubling, because of many of the same general ideas. And the language being used and phraseology screams "man", not Jesus, to my perception.

It seems too perfect. Claiming that this forthcoming Pope will not take one step, or have one thought, or utter one word that is not in perfect congruence with Our Lady. That sounds like one protesting too much, or selling too hard: "Trust me...don't question this next Pope." RED FLAG!

We are safe if we discern the Truth of the teachings of Christ and His Church as faithfully handed to us by the successors of Peter and the apostles up to now, and then pay very close attention to what actions the hierarchy takes after the conclave and election. Remember: A False Prophet is to arrive, according to scripture. If you were Satan, that prophet would do most damage from within the True Church, and not outside the church, or in a Protestant setting. (And it was stated publically by Paul VI that the smoke of satan had entered.....And Benedict said the Church will be reduced in numbers. Think remnant.)

If the false prophet arose within the true Catholic Church, and created schism, it still would not mean that "the Gates of Hell had prevailed". It would, however, be something akin to a scourging and crucifixion of the Body. But even if that is how it occurred, a Ressurection of the Body is guaranteed to follow.

Be careful. Because it has also been written (Matthew 24) that it will be hard even for the elect not to be deceived by the false prophet...

  7. Jon,
It's very true that we have to be very cautious. I agree. But I would say that we can't soooooooo very cautious that we kill even God's given help.
I don't say that the Locutions are to be trusted blindly. Not at all. But I've found in them a source of growing trust in God in spite of the darkness we live in. And I'm sharing it with others IF it is also helpful to them.

It also fills me with joy at the evidence that finally things are beginning to move forward -and God is taking all of us by surprise through the resignation of the Pope. We won't get to the Era of Peace without going through the tribulation, so -to me- it's good news to see it kind of here at hand while big events start surprising as all. Again, the bottom line is GOD IS WITH US. This is helpful to take a deep breath and "fasten the belts for the ride".

I knew you not an official promoter. You seem like a smart man.

I believe there to be many false prophets in these last days, and this is why I will now only follow/believe what church has approved. I once followed MDM before and many others. I am surpised people still follow her with all the predictions which haven't come true.
I don't want to run the risk in believing something from Satan anymore, so I keep my heart close to Jesus and our Church, because there is no difference.

Jon, you are so right about our church to suffer a crucifixion. It has already started carrying it's cross.
But I put my trust in Jesus. "the gates of Hell will not prevail against it"

I love the Catholic Church, I love what it stands for!

  9. Me too :)

I fully agree with this, I clearly sense that we are living a kind of kick off of God's Plan.
Besides I find it utterly enthralling that Mary is already taking the lead of events. Even the cardinals were left motionless at the announcement .... and as days are passing and the Pope gives a line of information here and there on the why of his decision it fills me more and more with wonder and awe at God.
Finally the Pope said in the message of the Angelus I started this thread with that the decision comes from A PERSONAL VOCATION, a calling from God to do so. And the following morning we get all these locutions as a confirmation -to me at least- of the Pope's disclosure of his motives, PLUS a Plan of huge scope. It all fits as in a journey with God where we have many signs if we have eyes to see.

To me is like helping me understand Jesus running towards Jerusalem. He knew what was ahead but he was eager to get there and beyond. This is where I think we are at.

Good thoughts, all. I certainly want the same for our Church and the world.

I think we can all see the signs of the times, and it is Grace that allows us to recognize them. We are all sensing the point at which we have arrived. It is natural for us to long for the vanquishing of evil to finally take place, and the promise of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart to be fulfilled.

So we can't help our earnest desire to pay attention when Our Lady or Our Lord may be speaking to the world through chosen souls. We certainly would not want to ignore them, if it is truly our Savior, and our Mother, His Mother.

Let's be vigilant and continue to discern, lest we be manipulated by the desries of our own hearts. These are extraordinary times, and we are part of this generation for a reason.

    Jon,
Did you know Maria herself used to post here? One of her predictions she gave us, that 3 world leaders would be killed over the summer (I think of 2011, whichever year she was posting here) fell flat...and that timeline has expired. I shut the door on her in my mind after that. I'm not even sure anyone knows who her bishop is.

And yes, there are some questions on the locutions being heavily promoted here. But there are many sign-posts for that as well, so hopefully we'll have a much better sense of discernment in the next month or so.
