  2. Dr. Taylor Marshall has a good explanation of the mark of the beast at the right hand and on the forehead. This is really scary!

If that was the case we wouldn't have candidates still eagerly waiting to enter into it. Yes, it is in a raging tempest. I disagree though that it is without its flavor in spite of some men's best attempts to rob it.

It is very sad to me that those who were entering the church this year have not had the opportunity as of yet to be formally welcomed into the bosom of it. I remember when my family and I were in RCIA I kept having this recurring sense of urgency that something would happen and the doors would be shut. Now, here we are. Prayers for those who are waiting. I hope that as this drags on their priests and bishops will find a way to at least perform the ceremony even if it is not able to be attended publicly.

Yes, it’s still the Barque of Peter. I had that thought as well about the RCIA candidates, especially those awaiting Baptism. I would not trade my Catholic Faith for anything this world has to offer.
Stay in the Barque, people. Stay in the Church.
    Follow the Traditional Magisterium.
Don’t leave for what you might think are greener pastures, for those are illicit.
Sometimes those pastures are heretical, or possibly schismatic.
The apostles asked the Lord, “to whom shall we go? You have the words of everlasting life.”

Jason, Thank you for posting the link to this article but it has me a little more scared now. I would like to hear others thoughts about it.

This paragraph is from the article:

But Dr. John Zmirak, author of bestselling The Politically Incorrect Guide to Catholicism told Church Militant: "It's one thing to join non-Christians for simultaneous (not common) prayers for our country, or for peace. It's quite another to cobble together some lowest-common-denominator, minimal Theist petition, and offer it as one prayer."

I am thankful for priests like Father Mark Goring. Here is a new video from him:

Oh my goodness, I keep wearing the same hat that he has on in the video. I have permanently borrowed it from my husband.

What a gorgeous location. Thank you for
    posting.

I agree with Dr Zmirak that we need not join in prayer “as one”
Because we are NOT one with them.

Of course there will always be the remnant keeping the faith alive - in some areas and some nations the faith is still strong but in the western world there is real decline and collapse.

Fulton Sheen saw clearer than most (1974) “And now we’re at the fourth period of crisis in Church History, and we’re rotting — we’re spoiled — no great zeal, no great learning, no great fire.” Yet there’s hope because “anyone who knows history is not particularly disturbed.”

“The Lord is keeping reserves. He is training us. We’ll make the entry. We’ll prepare for a new Church. And he is with us — we just simply can’t add rules — only we’ve already won as a matter of fact, only the news has not yet leaked out — and so it’s violence that has to be restored.”

“And if there is anything that has to be restored in our day, I would say it would be violence. Violence! The kingdom of heaven is won by violence. And only the violent shall conquer it.”

Shouldn’t it be about peace? Let’s hear the great Bishop Sheen explain. And Biblically too.

He observed how when the Church drops things, the world picks them up but twists them in the wrong way. For example, mysticism drops, and the young turn to pharmaceuticals and drugs.

“And we drop violence, discipline, commitment to the Cross, and the world picks it up…That’s why there’s no stopping the violence of this country. We just have to…hire more police guards, build more hospitals for the addicts. Why? Because there’s no moral reason on the inside why they should stop.”

Sheen explained, “Our Blessed Lord said I have come to bring the sword. Not peace! We are always talking about peace, peace, peace! Yes, because that war (World War II, Korean War, etc.) happened — but we aren’t making war in ourselves — and there’s not going to be any peace in the world until we make war. Our Lord said, I came not to bring peace, but the sword! He never used the word ‘peace’ until after Easter.”

“The Lord brought a sword. It’s not the sword that’s thrust outward against the enemy. It’s a sword that’s thrust against ourselves, cutting out the seven pallbearers of the soul: pride and covetousness and lust and anger, envy, gluttony and sloth. And we’ve given up the sword — someone else has taken it up, and we have to restore it! Then we’ll get peace! And peace is never corporate — it’s never social — until it’s first individual.

Social peace, world peace, is the extension of individual peace in our hearts. When we are right with God, then we will be right with our fellow man. When are not right with God, then we will be wrong with everyone else.”

The Holy Father was asked, “What about the Third Secret of Fatima? Should it not have already been published by 1960?”

Pope John Paul II replied: “Given the seriousness of the contents, my predecessors in the Petrine office diplomatically preferred to postpone publication so as not to encourage the world power of Communism to make certain moves.

“On the other hand, it should be sufficient for all Christians to know this: if there is a message in which it is written that the oceans will flood whole areas of the earth, and that from one moment to the next millions of people will perish, truly the publication of such a message is no longer something to be so much desired.”

The Pope continued: “Many wish to know simply from curiosity and a taste for the sensational, but they forget that knowledge also implies responsibility. They only seek the satisfaction of their curiosity, and that is dangerous if at the same time they are not disposed to do something, and if they are convinced that it is impossible to do anything against evil.”

At this point the Pope grasped a Rosary and said: “Here is the remedy against this evil. Pray, pray, and ask for nothing more. Leave everything else to the Mother of God.”

From Veritas Vincit, June 8, 2017

ask for nothing more.......leave everything else to the Mother of God.

The Pope will consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, but it will be late.
Meanwhile, the world will continue to suffer because of the disobedience of so many Popes.

This interview makes me curious if there was a blurb about communism spreading across the globe (similar to Garabandal) that led to the delay in publication for political reasons.

Well, at Fatima, Our Lady said that Russia will spread her errors throughout the world, and St John Paul consecrated the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary but did not specifically mention Russia which is what Our Lady asked.
Yes, it was political pressure, but we leave all judgment up to Almighty God and move forward with rosaries in hand.
Edit: we certainly can’t change anything that occurred in the past by our own recriminations and efforts, but we can pray many rosaries and that is what is requested by Our Lady.

There is a beautiful prayer at the end of Low Mass in the Tridentine Rite which prays "for the liberty and exaltation of Holy Mother the Church." My favorite wording

We know that all the wonderful prayers after Low Mass were unceremoniously dumped in the Novus Ordo Mass.
That includes the prayer to St Michael that Pope Leo XIII composed in 1884 after he heard Satan demand, and obtain, time and power from Our Lord Jesus, in order to try and destroy the Church.

    What a terrible mistake!

My parish has been saying the Saint Michael prayer after mass since long before I was a member there. Not all priests have put away these prayers. This isn't a black or white situation.

The St Michael prayer is being said around here as well.
But these attacks on the Church have been foretold so we must look up! For our redemption draweth nigh.
