This is probably first on your list but rinsing with warm salt water helps enormously I have found. Also using a peroxide baking soda rinse for the tooth swishing for a few minutes and then rinse with warm salt water.

    From Psalm 91:

9 Because you have made the LORD your refuge, the Most High your habitation,
10 no evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will give his angels charge of you to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder, the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Because he cleaves to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name.
15 When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

This psalm appeals to many I think because of the theme of protection and/or because even the devil used the psalm (v. 12) when tempting Jesus in the desert. But I especially like the end which emphasizes the fact that God desires a relationship with each of us, with me! Notice that the one whom God shelters is the person who knows God's name, a Hebrew way of saying: friendship and intimacy!

    Safe on the Father's Lap!

Funny enough I was thinking about George Washington today. He must have been more than a little afraid when he was given charge of the army. I suppose we can't help being afraid sometimes. If we were never afraid we would never have courage. It is in overcoming fear that courage is born.

I believe a manufactured food shortage is definitely next until fall. They are very desperate right now so want every opportunity they can to remove Trump in November. The stock market has rebounded nicely despite being below where it was so a food shortage could definitely negatively impact stocks this summer. I'd assume after food shortages then Covid again this September and October.

Thank you AED. I've been using the salt water, but I forgot about peroxide/baking soda! (y) Off I go to rinse again.

Isn't it true before all this corona virus that Trump was a virtual shoe-in in November?

Biden: ‘Abortion is an Essential Health Care Service’

(CNSNews.com) – As he basked in Hillary Clinton’s endorsement of his presidential campaign on Tuesday, former Vice President Joe Biden underlined his shift on the issue of abortion, describing it as “an essential health care service” during the coronavirus pandemic.

“We need to ensure that women have access to all health services during this crisis,” Biden said during a virtual town hall with Clinton. “Abortion an essential health care service.”

“It’s being used as a political wedge right now,” the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee continued. “And it shouldn’t be. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association agree that it shouldn’t be categorized as a procedure that can be delayed. It can’t.”

“And in this case, health care delayed mean health care denied,” Biden said, as Clinton listened and nodded. “States should not be using a public health crisis to infringe on a woman’s constitutional right.”

“Well look, I think you’re going right down the path that people need to follow you on,” Clinton said after his remarks, which also included references the Affordable Care Act and healthcare costs.

Biden was evidently reading from or reciting prepared remarks; a fact sheet released by his campaign on Tuesday included those sentences, with minor differences.

The fact sheet went on to say:

If Biden was President today, he would put science over fiction and ensure states treat abortion as the essential health service it is. This builds on his existing women’s health care agenda. His Justice Department will stop the rash of state laws that so blatantly violate Roe v. Wade. And, he will work to codify Roe, repeal the Hyde Amendment, restore federal funding for Planned Parenthood, including through Medicaid and Title X, and restore access to contraception coverage.

It was the latest move on the abortion issue by Biden, a Roman Catholic, who reversed his opposition to the Hyde Amendment just ten months ago. That measure prohibits federal funding of abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or when the mother’s life is endangered.

Susan B. Anthony List president Marjorie Dannenfelser called Biden’s comments “shameful.”

She said in a statement Biden “has not only aligned himself with the failed agenda of Hillary Clinton, which the American people soundly rejected in 2016 when they elected President Trump – a major political liability for him – he has raced further to the left than any nominee before him in his bid to appease the radical abortion lobby.”

“Democrats used to call for abortion to be ‘safe, legal and rare,’ and now they deem abortion on demand at all costs ‘essential’ even during a pandemic,” Dannenfelser said.

    ‘Medically irresponsible’

As Biden stated, both the AMA and ACOG issued statements last month opposing any moves to limit abortions during the coronavirus pandemic.

AMA president Patrice Harris said it was “unfortunate that elected officials in some states are exploiting this moment to ban or dramatically limit women’s reproductive health care, labeling procedures as ‘non-urgent.’”

“To the extent that hospital systems or ambulatory surgical facilities are categorizing procedures that can be delayed during the COVID-19 pandemic, abortion should not be categorized as such a procedure,” ACOG said in a joint statement with several other medical bodies.

“Abortion is an essential component of comprehensive health care,” it said. “It is also a time-sensitive service for which a delay of several weeks, or in some cases days, may increase the risks or potentially make it completely inaccessible.”

In response, the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, said ACOG did not represent its membership in the position statement, since more than 85 percent of obstetricians and gynecologists “do not perform abortions.”

“Continuing to perform elective abortions during a pandemic is medically irresponsible,” the pro-life association said. “Abortions use up much needed resources such as masks, gloves, and other personal protective equipment. The practice also potentially generates more patients to be seen in already overburdened emergency rooms.”

Biden was long opposed to the Hyde Amendment, but that changed last summer. After his campaign confirmed his ongoing opposition, he was criticized by rivals in the Democratic primary. Twenty-four hours later, Biden said he had changed his position, and now supports its repeal.

As Dannenfelser alluded to, abortion-related language in the Democratic Party platform has evolved over recent decades.

The party’s 1980 platform voiced support for Roe v. Wade – the 1973 Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion – but added, “We fully recognize the religious and ethical concerns which many Americans have about abortion.”

Four years on, the platform contained no reference to abortion, and the 1988 document said (without mentioning the word abortion) “the fundamental right of reproductive choice should be guaranteed regardless of ability to pay.”

The 1992 Democratic platform stated, “The goal of our nation must be to make abortion less necessary, not more difficult or more dangerous,” and those in 1996 and 2000, said, “Our goal is to make abortion less necessary and more rare, not more difficult and more dangerous.”

The 2004 platform said abortion should be “safe, legal, and rare,” but in 2008, 2012 and 2016, the platforms dropped the word “rare,” saying abortion should be “safe and legal.”

The 2016 Democrat platform, for the first time, endorsed the repeal of the Hyde Amendment.

His numbers went up very much after the Ukraine impeachment garbage but Corona was already on the world stage during that time as well. He was really looking great considering the left were looking to give the Americans either the socialist or the creepy man who was getting harder and harder to understand what he was talking about most of the time.

As they were signing the impeachment documents with their $12,000 pens, Trump was in the situation room learning and planning about this virus. The media likes to ignore that obviously for the narrative that he wasn't taking the virus seriously and should have done so much more blah blah blah.

Still believe Trump will continue to be President. I feel he’s the one God picked to guide us through this mess. Trump is business, but has leaned on God. So, whatever is in store for us, we will have the courage to face it. MAGA.

I agree, just don't know what comes after the election as far as what truth's come out and will he be safe? Hard to say America's real role in the end times. I mentioned earlier, I don't think the country makes it, but that is just personal feeling.

We will make it in a different way. You’ll see. This is a spiritual war, more than an economical one. That’s what I feel Fr Michel is trying to express. So, we just gotta keep on truckin’. Just remember our founding fathers. They didn’t give up. We will be fine.

I think we are going to see highly inflated prices on groceries, and inflation. If a company wants to maintain, with less production they must raise prices. Just like what happened in Venezuela. Remember "It will start in Venezuela". I think that is what started the toilet paper fiasco, people were remembering what happened in Venezuela. So I told my husband we should stock up on a few things now before the price skyrockets. I really see this happening.

Yes it is a spiritual war and they are trying to break our spirits! With economics of course. We can't give up the ship.

“There is now going to be a disruption within the disruption around you because the lesson of Heaven has not been met. Remember that seeking God in earnest will provide the only sight in darkness. Otherwise confusion sowed by the timeless nemesis will cloak all of reality with a false knowing. Never will those who follow the precepts of evil attain final victory, though it will now seem that way on this earth. Only praise God and light will come into any darkness.”

What could be the “disruption within the disruption?”

I have heard from several long haul truckers and read an article or 2 that there is going to be a meat shortage pretty soon. Meat companies are closing due to covid. It doesn't really make sense at all but Tyson closed and reopened and is closing again. Several other meat houses are set to do the same thing. A checker at Walmart 2 days ago noticed my canning jars and she said she was thinking of canning and was it hard. We struck up a conversation and she said she had heard that there was possibly going to be a meat shortage and the meat houses were killing all their animals and not processing them.

So, while I wasn't buying the jars for anything special we are now going to can some meat. Meat here is still on the shelves but if the rumors are true for how long? And toilet paper is still off the shelves. You have to go to the groceries very early to buy paper products.

So food shortages would not surprise me in the least. This is a messy war.

Make sure you use a pressure canner for meat.
