I don't think I'm upset. I trying to hold judgment as much as possible. This is most prudent choice I think. Some of us are accusing either this Priest or Bishop of dishonesty on PURPOSE. That's the definition of LYING.

And since LYING comes from the evil one because it is a purposeful intent...then we can only conclude that the person LYING must therefore be evil.

Honestly this is pretty simple.

I was duped by a false seer named Teresa Lopez in the 1990's. It is important to discern a person predicting nuclear war and economic collapse. It seems strange that Father Michel is able to travel with such a busy schedule after having eight heart attacks and three cancers. Cardiologists are so strict about activities one can do with heart problems especially after suffering heart attacks. My son wasn't cleared to play sports because of a slightly enlarged aortic diameter.

 

I’ve been duped as well at Bayside and by the Pilgrims of St Michael as if you couldn’t guess. WBTW is correct in her questions. I have relatives with cardiologist issues, so I know.

 

Well...I'll give it a go.

Perhaps this Bishop sits down and hears what this priest has to say...and maybe in backrooms he agrees with what he has to say. But that doesn't necessarily mean he ascribe as to fully backing it up with the Full weight of the Church. So...maybe the priest misunderstood the Bishop's personal listening to his locutions as a nod of approval. It's plausible...this is where the misunderstanding can come from.

All I'm saying is that it DOES NOT always mean someone is a...LIAR. It could mean misunderstanding. And that's all I'm saying.

 

Your statement above sort-of...in simplest terms implies this priest is also lying about having heart attacks.

Can't God chose to work through those despite their ailments? We must look at the possibility that God maybe...and again I'm playing the devil's advocate here is giving this man a task to perform, despite his previous heart attacks?

Here's part of the statement from the Bishop:

"As you probably did too, I read on the Countdown to the Kingdom website related to Fr Michel and also in the book of Christine Watkins, The Warning. Testimonies and Prophecies the Illumination of Conscience (Note 84, p. 278 and p. 280), that : “ Michel Rodrigue receives the full support of his bishop, and all of his locutions and visions are submitted to his local ordinary for approval. “ This quotation was removed these days from the website after a request I sent to Fr Michel. No mention is made of the reason for the removal, that is to say: because it was untrue..."

The Bishop is clearyl stating that those claims - made by father and the folks at the countdown website (Christine Wadkins, Mark Mallet, Peter B, etc.) were UNTRUE.

He doesn't stop there, let's read on:

"I did not and I do not approve his teaching with regard to his locutions and visions."

So much for approval being withdrawn - it was never there to begin with. Another untrue statement.

The quotes above preclude a misunderstanding. It is not possible. Father said one thing - and the bishop publicly confirmed that it was untrue.

Stop trying to bully and shame the good people of this board for using proper discernment of this alleged seer.

 

And this is not the only questionable fact discovered recently. There are many alarming red flags at this point.

 

I think it’s fair to say that there are some of us on the forum who do not, for one reason or another, endorse Fr Michel’s messages. I think we have put forth our reasons, as of this present moment.

 

Can I ask you something:

When Faustina went to her superiors about her locutions and visions did they immediately receive approval from her Bishop? How long did it take from the time of her locutions and visions to receive approval from her local Bishop? Much less FINALLY receiving sainthood from the Pope?

Instead of immediately calling someone a liar...I'd rather be counted among those that hold judgment.

There is so much division and disharmony regarding Fr Michael and his messages. Thus it cannot come from god. Also red flags here and there which had enabled me to say that I disagree on the issue of Fr Michel.

But I wanted to say that everyone on his forum have a say on this ,irrespective of their agreement or disagreement.

 

That’s the wrong analogy here. We can’t even get to bishop approval if he isn’t truthful about submitting the messages in the first place.

This really isn’t complicated, I’d appreciate it if you stop trying to spin this into us having a personal axe to grind against the priest - I don’t.

This Bishop, after knowing his hard fast opinions about the Warning/Illumination of Conscience; the chastisements; a coming big war; places of preparation for these times; Era of Peace; all of which he does not believe in, should be disqualified from ever judging Fr. Michel's messages IF there were ever to be a formal inquiry or commission. Fr. Michel's mystical experiences have everything to do with all of those. That has been the disqualification for other examinations where other Bishops had a preformed prejudice against PRs in general (some even in the case of Fatima) and would not even discuss the accurate history or get to know the seer/s involved or listen to those required to be heard in any formal and accurate study that adheres to Church Protocol. The Bishop here doesn't say he knew nothing about them at the time when a blogger, believe it or not, just happened to question him about them, having seen his involvement in what the messages and requests contained, how could he....like the new religious apostolate of priests, vowed laity, and families; permission to build the required 2 new monasteries that took him away from his previously required responsibilities and the 2nd one even to be rushed by 2020!

Fr. Michel said he told the Bishop about them; the Bishop's statement said only that Fr. M never "submitted them to him for discernment or approval". Fr. M has said that he gives everything to his spiritual advisor for his personal guidance. Fr. M never claimed he did....only that he had the support of his Bishop....which obviously he has had w/ evidence to support that in the blessing of the fruit that came out of those mystical experiences and requests from God. I might add that I feel a certain concern for the faithful in that diocese since the Bishop looks woefully out of touch w/ what the Church, via the recent Popes and past ones themselves have spoken to re: the Era of Peace and coming chastisements, especially emphasized by remarks of Pope JPII when speaking of the secrets of Fatima. Perhaps some more knowledgeable theologians of eschatology and those who are well versed in the Early Church Fathers and Popes could offer the benefit of educating him on such well accepted expectations, already pretty obvious for the needs of the faithful via what one cannot deny that is now taking place all around us these days. There is background here that plays into a lot more than people would easily like to project in order to support their own personal thinking. Far too many judgements w/o the full context and inaccuracy of actual statements and w/o full reading and listening to the entire history and experiences offered by Fr. Michel. Like even the error of saying Fr. Michel's new formation does not include priests. So much ignorance as well of institutes of the Church like the apostolates of the faithful while the criticisms and judgements flow. Meanwhile such individuals accuse Fr. Michel of pride! ha!

 

The REASON I ask this question. And I'll give you my answer, is that all I ask is that YOU ponder your own answer.

I can truly say, had I been Faustina's superior..the Bishop that is. I would too have rejected her as a liar. That's why I'm a sinner I'm not perfect, may GOD have mercy on my wretched soul. Let's try harder this time...before casting people out to be liars, con artists, and sinners. Let's do what God has asked us...to cast stones those among us who are without sin.
