I didn't put those words into Fr. Michel's mouth. What I was saying is that by advancing the prophecy of the Warning, there are many who base their faith on it, and think they have more time than they may in fact have. Many believe in the Warning, but on what basis? I'm not aware of any approved source, nor scriptural reference that explicitly makes the case. And as I said above, visions of saints are not authoritative sources.

Thank you. I was searching for any sort of background I could find on Fr. Michel, and came across this site. I really like him personally, but as I said above, I have important reservations about his messages.

Not sure if the illumination of conscience as described by a saints will really matter, but in case you would believe a saint who foretold as much here is one from Saint Faustina and one from scripture as well. The following is the basis for the Warning you question:

    End Times

Jesus said “ Write down these words, My daughter. Speak to the world about My Mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable Mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it , will come the day of justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fount of My Mercy; let them profit from the Blood and water which gushed forth for them…….. before I come as the just one, I first open wide the gates of My Mercy. He who does not pass through the gates of My Mercy must pass through the gates of justice.

Before I come as the just judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort: All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be a great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky, and from the openings where the hands and the feet of the Saviour were nailed will come forth great lights which will light up the earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day.”

On a later occasion Our Lady appeared to St Faustina and said the following words: “I gave the Saviour to the world. As for you, you have to speak to the world about His great mercy and prepare the world for the Second Coming of Him who will come, not as a merciful saviour, but as a just Judge. O how terrible is that day! Determined is the day of justice, the day of divine wrath. The angels tremble before it. Speak to souls about this great mercy while it is still time for mercy. If you keep silent now, you will be answering for a great number of souls on that terrible day.”

    Revelations 6th Seal (the Warning)
[12] And I saw, when he had opened the sixth seal, and behold there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair: and the whole moon became as blood: [13] And the stars from heaven fell upon the earth, as the fig tree casteth its green figs when it is shaken by a great wind: [14] And the heaven departed as a book folded up: and every mountain, and the islands were moved out of their places. [15] And the kings of the earth, and the princes, and tribunes, and the rich, and the strong, and every bondman, and every freeman, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of mountains:

[16] And they say to the mountains and the rocks: Fall upon us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb: [17] For the great day of their wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand?

  5. Same observation. I want his Bishop to be the one releasing his prophecies, and not Fr. Michel himself. Who knows if the Evil one has mixed his personal messages with the real ones.

His Bishop does not believe in the era of mercy of St Faustina. So, why should we believe in this Bishop?

Because his bishop has authority over Fr Michel

And he will obey his Bishop. But that does not mean the Bishop is right. A big red flag with the Bishop, is according to his letter to Fr Michel, he does not believe in St Faustina’s era of peace.

Correct, Byron. Bishops can be wrong just like certain Popes are wrong. While it seems that some conveniently love to point out when our current Pope's is wrong...and he CERTAINLY IS on TONS of things...we then forget that Bishops TOO can be wrong.

I appreciate you going through the trouble to dig this up, and post it. You could have added Rev 1:7, a reiteration of sorts of Zechariah 12:10. Both say people will look upon Him, and mourn bitterly. That is consistent with something like a Warning, although it is not spelled out in the kind of detail we have only from unapproved sources. And since this is in Revelation, it is a reasonable assertion that it will take place shortly before the last day. In that sense, I can't find fault with what Faustina said. I also get the impression from Faustina's writing that "shortly before the last day" can be juxtaposed to "...His great mercy and prepare the world for the Second Coming of Him who will come..." and both will happen in a reasonable time period. Fr. Michel proposed a separation of three generations or so, and a three days of darkness marking the end of the tribulation. I don't see the two versions compatible with each other.

But I have to point out once again that there is a problem in saying the sixth seal is the Warning. The sixth seal speaks of wrath (it uses it twice), whereas the Warning is portrayed as mercy, preceding the wrath. So what are we left with? Faustina's description that matches Rev 1:7, which does call for mercy, but is substantially short of what has become popularized at Garabandal and by Fr. Michel. It's important not to take the partial overlap as an endorsement of those visions.

The Warning is not going to be easy, in essence it will be God’s wrath on the sinful. But his wrath will be an act of mercy, because many will convert and will be saved before they die. He’s giving us a chance to ask for his forgiveness.

  14. Context:

His Bishop NEVER SAID said he does not believe in the Era of Peace of St. Faustina ; what he did say is he does not believe in the STORY or VERSION of Era of peace of Fr. Michel.

Let us pray for Father Michel's bishop. So many bishops lack spiritual discernment in the areas of prophecy.

To be fair, I read it as the bishop felt like he was hit broadside, and had no idea Fr. Michel was out there saying these things. It's not to say that he studied them and rejects them, but was caught by surprise. That said, I don't expect an endorsement any time soon, esp. since I've pointed out Fr. Michel's timeline is at odds with scripture.

Fr Michel’s version of the era of peace is the same as St Faustina and scripture. So, this Bishop has a lot of explaining to do.
