Well that was quick. So much for having the bishop’s approval. Looks like the beginning of the end for Mark, Peter and crew as watchmen. As much as I’d like to have a beer with them and discuss the faith (they seem like great guys) they do seem to have a terrible track record when it comes to discerning seers. They seem to listen to anyone who is supportive of their view of how the end times would start.
I am not surprised at all about Father Michel's messages being silenced. The devil is working where he can to stop the prophets from speaking and being heard. For my part, I will offer prayers for his bishop and Father Michel that he will soon be able to continue promoting heaven's messages at this time of great change. Father Michel has been an inspiration and a reaffirmation to many. I will also continue to keep Peter, Mark and Daniel in my rosary as they continue their great mission to spread the messages of God's prophets. They knew they would have their naysayers for promoting God's prophets, but their faith is stronger than what the devil can throw at them. It is a sign that the devil does not like their work and they clearly knew this and expected it from the start.
What no one has said yet about the Bishop's comments is what he doesn't support and I find that very troubling. Not only is that statement of his belief against Garabandal, but also that there will never be an Era of Peace. It's fine of course to not believe in Garabandal or the other number of approved mystics that point to the Warning as well, but to say no Era of peace goes against many mystics of the church as well as the Bible itself. Maybe I have read this wrong? I am not here to say Father's messages are real or not but there are other reasons that people are silenced to take into consideration. Maybe he didn't like the publicity coming to the diocese and Father. Maybe he's embarrased, or maybe he was told to silence Father for other reasons good or bad. I am just saying that this does not dispprove at all whether or not his messages are real. It is good that Father is obeying though and it reminds me a lot about the girls in Garabandal. Also, it doesn't look like he is being silenced. It seems to state that the Bishop has asked that any mention of his support of the messages must be removed. Once again, have I read this wrong?
Read one contradiction from the prophecy of Fr. Michel: The Father also said that through prayer the war could be diminished but not avoided. The war was supposed to have begun already in 2019, but it was postponed through prayer, through the Rosary. https://www.countdowntothekingdom.com/fr-michel-rodrigue-after-the-warning-and-world-war-iii/ I thought the Holy Rosary can avert wars and punishments like famine or pestilence because of the powerful intercessory powers of Our Lady? Just like in the time of Jonah, Nineveh was saved because the Ninevites prayed and repented of their sins. So why is Fr. Michel saying now that WW3 could only be diminished and postponed but cannot be avoided, even with the prayer of the Rosary. World War 3 has not even started yet. Nineveh was only given 40 days. There's so much time available. This also goes against the theological virtue of hope...
Agree Jason, but do you think the world is doing what the Ninevites did? Darkness continues to grow and grow and the atrocities of such darkness gets worse and worse. Can the prayer of one person or large group of people change the outcome? Of course because God is God, but it doesn't necessarily mean it will change the outcome. At some point punishment comes regardless. Like the warnings at Akita and even given to St. Faustina. Before God comes as the just judge He is first coming as the King of Mercy but eventually the doors of mercy closes. So where are we in that cycle? Is the door closing or has it been shut?
Yup, there is some truth to what you have said. This is the most difficult part, we don't know what God is thinking now...
What is now to God? God is outside of time, space and matter since those all fall under creation. There is no now to God there is only everything. Alpha and Omega. What was, is and will be is for us but has already happened, happening and will happen for God. It's like the Mass. There is only one actual Mass. Everytime we are at the Mass, we are at Calvary and in Heaven outside of time, space and matter. There is only one sacrafice of the lamb. It can be hard to comprehend for our minds, but that is the point. We can never truly understand God and His plan until we are with Him in heaven and then see it all. Also in prayer it is always great to pray for those in our past especially family members. Our prayers and faith in the now could be what saves our ancestors who have already died and face judgement. Despite the fact that Kent Hovind is a creationist meaning believes in the literal sense that the earth is only 6000 years old, this response on God is one of my favorites:
He and other of God's messengers have been repeating this same line. Even in Akita, our Lady said "the cup is overflowing". The era of Mercy is coming to and end, because the overwhelming amount of humanity has not accepted God's plan for peace, so his plan for justice is at hand. It can still be lessened, but no longer avoided. I am grateful that God has sent his prophets to forewarn His people of the times at hand. If we haven't got ourselves prepared by now, most never will. The doors of "Noah's ark" are about to close.
And look at Sr. Agnes warnings this past October. Has the world listened? Has devout Catholics even listened? How many are doing a penitent rosary daily? http://avalon44.tripod.com/r/pr.htm
Did anyone think Fr. Michel’s bishops approval of his Fraternity meant he approved and believed everything he has stated prophetically? I sure didn’t. What we know is Fr. Michel is in good standing and that his bishop supported the fraternity and new buildings. It doesn’t even matter if it’s true or false to me but if I used the information in line with Catholic teaching to become a better Catholic and be better prepared for whatever may come. As MM always repeats your time could be up today so get in a state of grace and prepare to meet God at any moment. This pandemic and economic crash is setting up the world for communism’s return everywhere and the ac can’t be too far away. I wouldn’t get too caught up in small details or every line from every prophetic voice. Arguing and debating these things is fruitless. The state of your soul and aligning to Gods Will and efforts to save souls is all God is asking of us. Fr. Michel will be proven accurate or not in the coming months. He’s spiritual advise is sound. You won’t see me trying to buy 3 months of food this summer.
I'm glad that the bishop had come down on Fr Rodrique. His messages were some sort of mixed messages to confuse us and scaremongering. BVM doesn't do scaremongering in her messages. 3 months storage of food had flagged my alert on. Also lack of nihil obstat as well. I remember reading his messages as I felt something wasn't right but don't know what. If it gives off confusion and lack of coherence then it can't be relied on nor be trusted.
I’m sure everyone read these disclaimers on CTTK...... Disclaimer We kindly request that, while reading this website's contents, all readers keep in the forefront of their minds the following six key caveats: 1. We are not the final arbiters of what constitutes an authentic revelation—the Church is—and we will always submit to whatever she definitively decides. It is with the Church, then, that we "test" prophecy: "Guided by the Magisterium of the Church, the sensus fidelium knows how to discern and welcome in these revelations whatever constitutes an authentic call of Christ or his saints to the Church." (Catechism of the Catholic Church, n. 67) 2. We both acknowledge and deeply respect the distinction between Public and private revelation, and we do not propose any of the latter here as demanding the same assent as the former from the faithful. 3. We remain open to considering further developments relevant to discerning the revelations we have included, and thus are not claiming absolute certitude in each revelation on this site, even though we have decided that each is worthy of inclusion here and important to disseminate. The scope of this site's content is intrinsically limited and nothing should be inferred from the mere absence of a given seer from its pages. 4. While we indeed take each private revelation very seriously, if it seems trustworthy by virtue of the Church-sanctioned norms for discernment (to read more click here), we are ultimately striving to extract from the diversity of revelations a "prophetic consensus" that itself neither rises nor falls on the authenticity of one or two mystics, but rather constitutes the clear call of the Spirit to the Church today. 5. We consider that even credible private revelation must be treated according to Church teaching. Here, we adopt the wisdom of St. Hannibal: "Conforming to prudence and sacred accuracy, people cannot deal with private revelations as if they were canonical books or decrees of the Holy See…" (in a letter to Fr. Peter Bergamaschi) 6. Seers are fallible instruments, and as such, "…everything God reveals is received through and according to the subject’s dispositions. In the history of prophetic revelation it is not uncommon that the prophet’s limited and imperfect human nature is impacted by a psychological, moral or spiritual event that may hinder the spiritual enlightenment of God’s revelation from shining perfectly in the prophet’s soul, whereby the prophet’s perception of the revelation is involuntarily altered." (Newsletter, Missionaries of the Holy Trinity, January-May 2014). Therefore, this website is not an endorsement of everything a seer has said or written. We only consider what is posted here based on the above criteria. Public versus Private Revelation Countdown to the Kingdom is a website, obedient to the final determinations of the Church, that puts forth what is called “private revelation”—prophetic messages sent from heaven to help us live more fully by divine revelation in our given hour on Earth. “Private” revelation is often meant by God to be universally spread and accepted. In other words, it is hardly meant to be “private.” Through “private” revelation, we have the Rosary given by Our Lady to St. Dominic; the devotion of the First Saturdays and the warning of World War II from Our Lady of Fatima. We have the warning of famine through Our Lady of La Salette, should people continue offending God, as well as Christ’s wish for Divine Mercy Sunday and the Divine Mercy Chaplet through His revelations to St. Faustian Kowalska—to name only a few. To disregard all private revelation without giving it any consideration would put us at serious risk of disregarding the Lord Himself. The word “private” has been ascribed to such prophetic revelation from heaven to contrast it with public revelation’s Depositum Fidei (Deposit of Faith): Scripture and Tradition definitively interpreted throughout the ages by the magisterium. In this public revelation, we have a sure foundation—solid bedrock upon which we may always safely stand, come what may, and an invincible guardrail protecting us from dangerous cliffs. The contents of public revelation, alone, universally demand the assent of divine faith (as a supernatural virtue) from all souls, and no private revelation may ever add to its contents. Indeed, whatever is contained within this public revelation is absolutely certain; whatever contradicts it is absolutely false, and there will be no new public revelation until the end of time.
We will know soon enough -- the countdown to the Kingdom website was set up because those who set it up are convinced we have enetered the period of the 'Lesser' Tribulation and that things are going to get very bad over the next few years -- Somewhat like pre-tribulation period that is predicted by the Garabandal seers that comes before the Warning. GARABANDAL: THE NIGHT OF THE SCREAMS On the two nights preceding the feast of Corpus Christi in 1962, the young seers of Garabandal had visions --- The first of these two nights has come to be called las Noches de los Gritos — the Nights of Screams. On that first night, they saw the time before the Warning, a time of great trial for the Church and the world. Mari Loli seems to have been the first to speak about it when in 1967 --- in spite of continuing to see the Virgin, [during the first night of screams] we saw a great multitude of people who were suffering intensely and screaming in terror. The Blessed Virgin explained to us that this great tribulation, which was not even the Chastisement, would come because a time would arrive when the Church would appear to be on the point of perishing. It would pass through a terrible trial. We asked the Virgin what this great trial was called and she told us it was "communism." Mari Loli cried for an hour after the vision - Loli was crying the whole time while saying, 'Oh, it's going to be like that? People are going to suffer like that? Oh, make me suffer!'" Note - this is the pre-warning tribulations and not the chastisement which is even worse! The screams had such an impact the whole village went to confessions the next day. https://www.garabandal.com/the-prophecies-of-garabandal/prophecy-about-communism
No, I think you make a very, very valid point. Here´s what CTTK says: "On April 23rd, 2020, Fr. Michel Rodrigue informed us that his bishop, Rev. Gilles Lemay, does not support Fr. Michel's messages; he stated to Fr. Michel, in writing, that he does not support the idea of "the Warning, the chastisements, the third World War, the Era of Peace, any construction of refuges, et cetera." Fr. Michel, wishing to remain obedient, has asked Countdown to the Kingdom to remove any mention on this website of his bishop's support of his messages, which we have done." So the bishop does not support the idea of the warning, the chastisements, a future world war, the era of peace! Very clearly, the bishop is wrong. Again, I´m not saying Fr. Michel is legit - let´s wait and see. I myself had never heard of him until very recently. But this bishop is contradicting the words of countless saints, popes, reputed visionaries from approved apparitions, not to mention the Catechism of the Catholic church and the Deposit of Faith. So there will be no chastisements, no era of peace! Well, let´s throw out the entire New Testament then, plus Isaiah, Daniel , Ezekiel, Jeremiah, to mention just a few OT prophets. Granted, the construction of physical refuges may be controversial (though I don´t think it´s too far-fetched) but everything else isn´t. Yes, a miracle was promised at Fatima, the greatest miracle in the history of the world, second only to the Resurrection. And that miracle will be an era of peace, which has never really been granted before to the world. —Cardinal Mario Luigi Ciappi, October 9th, 1994; from the Family Catechism, p. 35, which he said is “a sure source for authentic Catholic doctrine” (Sept. 9th, 1993) The more noteworthy of the prophecies bearing upon “latter times” seem to have one common end, to announce great calamities impending over mankind, the triumph of the Church, and the renovation of the world. —Catholic Encyclopedia, Prophecy, www.newadvent.org
Absolutely true imo. Multiple credible sources suggest that the era of Mercy will soon, very soon come to an end. Maybe sooner than many think.
The Bishop does not support Fr Michel’s messages about this. He does not support the idea of Fr Michel’s messages. It all points back to Fr Michel’s messages. IMHO.
Who is "they"? Remember that it is not necessary for salvation to believe in private revelations. But I think it would behoove priests to start right away instituting First Saturday devotions in their parish if they have not already.
