Rick has always been a believer. Converted to Catholicism because my sister wouldn't have married him otherwise . Attends Mass every week, but is not what you'd call zealous. Last year around this time he had surgery for a brain tumor that had wrapped around his brain stem. It wasn't causing any symptoms. They found it when looking for a reason for his hearing loss. The tumor turned out to be benign, but he has been struggling due to the after effects of the surgery. Major issues with his eye sight, balance, and weirdly, the day he woke up from the surgery he started hiccuping and it never stopped. After suffering through all the brain surgery crap. Now, this.
About six months ago, they gave him 3-6 months to live. He has been doing chemotherapy, some natural remedies, and we've all been doing novenas religiously (ha). Although the doctors still say he will never be cured, the tumors have shrank quite a bit. And, I say never say never when it comes to miracles. Thanks for the prayers. They are helping.
