  1. Throughout history there have been numerous paintings of God the Father as in the image given to Cletus. They were a human teaching aid to the visualization of the Trinity. for instance the Italian artist who became known as "Veronese" was requested to create such for particular Churches.

In 1555, probably at the summons of the prior of S. Sebastiano in Venice, Veronese began the decoration of the church that was later to become his burial place.

    and guess where this is....

Cletus' image looks similar to Cletus but for the brightness of the hair and beard and in growing his own hair as he was asked to do it actually stopped at apparently a "set" length! After all we are told that we are made in the image and "likeness" of God.

Cletus passed away in 2012, but before he went to his Fathers house, he confirmed to Verne that because the painting was blessed by a faithful priest the blessings will pass on from the healing picture God the Father to all who look upon it and pray to Him for your needs.

    A Story of Cletus Schefers

I was born and lived on a farm west of Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am the oldest of 7 children. I went to a one-room schoolhouse that had all 8 grades, 26 children were in the classroom. I talked mostly German at home and for one hour in school. I would walk in the fields and look at the plants, and wondered how God made them and made them grow. I also wondered how God could help me make them grow better, and how to stop weeds from growing. When I turned 19, my dad had me get a job off the farm. At that time, my brothers were able to help my dad on the farm.

In August of 1956, while sitting on my bed looking out the window, I saw the clouds open up. There sat God the Creator, holding a staff in his right hand, and his left hand raised up in the air. I did not know what this all was. I could not talk about it. For many, many, many years, I would think of this vision, and what I should do with it. But life went on.

    ..........
In September 2001, the Lord asked me to let my hair and beard grow. I have yet to cut my hair or beard, except at my upper lip. Now it has passed the 5-year mark, and my hair seems to stay shoulder length, and not get any longer.

In November 2001, the Lord told me I could reveal my vision (after 45 years). In May of 1993, the first time I prayed with someone, God healed that person. Now, 13 years later, the Lord has healed a lot of people phsically, and spiritually. All I do for them is to pray for them.

I pray the rosary a lot along with EWTN because they have some marvelous holy pictures to go along with the words and meditations. I love their pictures of God the Father.

That's not true! I just spoke with our priest who was the Superior General of the FSSP for many years. He said the same thing I did, that when we receive the Eucharist we are receiving the second person of the Holy Trinity.

    and from the USCCB http://www.usccb.org/prayer-and-wor...the-eucharist-basic-questions-and-answers.cfm

During the celebration of the Eucharist, the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ, and this they remain. They cannot turn back into bread and wine, for they are no longer bread and wine at all. There is thus no reason for them to change back to their "normal" state after the special circumstances of the Mass are past. Once the substance has really changed, the presence of the Body and Blood of Christ "endures as long as the Eucharistic species subsist" ( Catechism, no. 1377).

This thread reminds me of a story I heard of one time from Holy Mother Russia:

Six Holy Hermits lived , long, long ago on an island in a river far, far out in the wilderness. The local Bishop hearing rumours of them decided to do a visitation to check ever thing was honky dorey and sailed up the river in his boat with his entourage.

When got there he was horrified with what he found. The six some had no Church. No books, no icons , no theology and could neither read nor write. They were dirty and uncouth and the only thing they seemed to have going for them was that they had been baptised and the locals regarded them as saints. The only prayer they knew was, 'Jesus Christ , Son of God have Mercy on me a sinner'. Which to their credit they said constantly.

So the Bishop decided to give them a second chance and sitting them down taught them to say the, 'Our Father' . But they could not even manage to learn this simple prayer.

So in high dudgeon he shouted at them and declaring they were not monks at all sailed off down the river.

But as they moved along the water they heard shouting from behind. It was the six hermits running on top of the water. When they reached the boat they feel at the Bishops Feet and begged him once again to have mercy on them and to teach them how to pray.

The Bishop, witnessing the miracle, began to cry and begged the Hermits to teach him how to pray instead.

Jesus tells us, “Whoever voices judgment over a Priest has voiced it over me; child, never let a Priest be attacked. Take up his defense.” Jesus to Mutter Vogel, Feast of Christ the King, Germany.
I, therefore, will defend Fr. Joseph Iannuzzi who I know very well and is a good, Holy Priest. Please stop your attacks against him.
It would not surprise me if you came back saying something against Mother Vogel because it seems you do not believe in private revelation. For myself I say, “Thanks to God for private revelation!” My journey into the Truth and the Catholic Church began when I was thrown from a horse and got my hands on a book, “City of God” by Mary of Agreda - a private revelation. Recuperating from my fall, I had much time to read this incredible book. It taught me who our Mother Mary is as previously being Protestant I knew nothing about Her as She was never spoken of. It was that book that brought me to know Her and Her Son. So, please do not disrespect by your comments those whose lives have changed for the good because of words given through mystics for our good. You can choose not to believe, but perhaps you should leave others to discern for themselves. Also, Mark Mallett and Daniel O’Connor are very humble, good Catholics who write and teach the truth. You are slandering others. I am not meaning to be disrespectful to you - I pray for you.

We are discerning. Not slandering. Not attacking. Sometimes we have to call it as we see it. I have read things which concern me about that priest. He is so highly visible.
Thank you for your prayers. I pray daily for you as well.

“One should NEVER attack a Priest, even when he is in error, rather one should pray and do penance that I will grant him My grace again.”
So if you have discerned Fr. Joseph to be in error (which is certainly untrue), than you should do as Our dear Lord asks and not attack him with words. Bless you. Lynne

I never have attacked him with words, but I do know from what I have read that some of his actions are questionable. I am entitled to that view. As I said before, he is highly visible.
    Fear is not from God.
I am not sure what you mean by “attacking,”
    actually.

My reply was not to you, but to POP. I do understand your comments and you are entitled to your opinion. What I do not accept are such comments as POP has posted. They are uncharitable and unholy. I cannot just stand by and read what he is posting and not defend Fr. Joe who is a good friend and very Holy Priest who does everything for God alone.

Lynne, it reminds me of how those around Jesus could not understand him. The ended up killing God the Son, because they refused to understand and hearts were hardened. I see this on the MoG forum all the time. Mary took everything to prayer and I think it is good advise for all in these times.

Are you referring to Verne's actions before his conversion or are you speaking of his actions after his conversion? Or are you speaking of Father Joseph Iannuzzi?

Perhaps, but it is my understanding that the decision would have to be made by the pope for a case like this. That’s how serious it is and that’s why it is so important to have submitted to the Church in revelations such as these.

There was no attack. You may not agree with him, but read it again: He never attacks Father. He believes him to be deceived - that’s not an attack. The good father supports a false visionary Vassuala, stating that he is deceived is accurate.

That is part of what I meant in my post about Fr. Iannuzzi's actions being questionable. I was not attacking.
I question his status with his superiors. That is not an attack. It is a legitimate concern/question.

    Thanks Verne. I appreciate it.

It does however make one question what you have stated recently though. You stated that priests have told you at the time of conversion that they discerned the opposite, yet you posted just 3 years ago to the contrary.

    More questions.

And let me be clear here. I’m not questioning your conversion or personal holiness; that is outside of the scope of what anyone can do on this forum.

When it comes to discernment of your messages though, this is very relevant.

There is no sense in Verne or anyone else responding to the naysayers who won't hear. If anyone doesn't get anything out of Verne's messages in the book GSWYL, then leave it alone. For those like me that find great value in these messages then by all means take them in. Many in Jesus' time treated his words the same way. They called him possessed too. They called his words evil. Then they killed him. Nothing in Verne's messages in GSWYL are contrary to scritpure or church teaching. The book has been vetted by many priests, theologians and monks. All 20,000 books were blessed by a faithful priest. You don't need an imprimatur form Frodo to believe the messages. He has no authority or wisdom to acknowledge what these holy priests have already spoken to.
