It's getting hard to find hand sanitizer on Amazon even. Wanted some for the entry of my house and some for in the car. Found some but surprised it is getting so hard. Now you can make your own at home with rubbing alcohol and aloe vera.
In the very beginning, reports were coming out of Wuhan associating the source of the virus as a snake, then a bat. There was a market for bizarre animals as food, eaten raw. This market was very close to the laboratory in Wuhan.
An interesting proposition; I wouldn't put it past the globalists. Back in the 1980s, under the auspices of WHO, they developed a program to provide tetanus shots for the impoverished in the Third World. What they didn't tell the young women: the vaccine was modified in such a way that once they received the shot they would be doomed to miscarriages forever after. How's that for population control! Once discovered and word got around, the program was ditched. Thank God for researchers who were willing to stick their necks out! Safe in the Arms of Mary!
I just made some sanitizer for the cars. I recycled a few of the little kid size water bottles and filled them using a funnel. I know my husband won't be bothered using the one I put in his car. Sigh.
Sometimes I feel anger at people who spread the virus. Then I stop and think its not their fault, they did not realise. But some people will get angry and violent and won't stop to think. Often people need someone or something to blame. I think there will be loads and loads of anger and rage going about soon enough.
Just was on the phone with another client. This has not hit news yet, but the largest Health Care IT convention held every year that has around 60k people attend and where President Trump was going to kick it off, was just cancelled. It was for next week in Orlando. He says its the largest conference for health care every year.
Perhaps this virus will bring down our modern tower of Babel: the global supply chain. An excerpt from an article followed by a link to the full article if anyone cares to read it. A Global COVID-19 Economic Downturn Unfortunately, this may be over-optimistic. The supply chain shocks that will follow the COVID-19 outbreak, even after it is contained, are not well understood by Wall Street and economists. This outbreak will likely have a long lasting impact leading to a global COVID-19 economic downturn. Here’s why. There is a lack of understanding of how global supply chains work and their complexity. A supply chain is not a linear relationship where a manufacturer, such as Foxconn, can simply resume production and product supply is immediately restored to Apple. Rather, a supply chain is a huge global web of all entities involved in producing and delivering a product. Apple, for example, has suppliers in 43 countries that receive components from Apple’s contract manufacturers in China. Similarly, in the automotive supply chain, each vehicle contains more than twenty thousand parts from thousands of different suppliers across the globe. Even something as simple as ketchup produced in Sacramento Valley depends on bottle caps from China. China on lockdown Supply chain networks are essentially global webs of entities that produce and move products — but also labor, customers, and money. Adding to the complexity is that global supply chains are intertwined across industry sectors. High tech provides parts to the automotive industry, not to mention that industry sectors like tourism are also linked to a range of other supply chains, as well as to global labor sources and flows of money. Consider that Carnival Corporation (the cruise lines) spends well over $1 billion on food and beverages alone. A halt in demand means a cascading effect on a range of suppliers in the food and beverage industry.... https://www.valuewalk.com/2020/03/covid-19-economic-downturn/

Looking at some of the virus statistics from around the world this afternoon and tonight really shocks me. This is really, really moving quickly. I didn't think we'd reach this point for another week or two. Wow! What can we do now but pray really? I feel so sad and sorry for people without Faith moving into this. So sad. I hope I have a chance to Witness to the Faith to people lost in all this. My heart goes out to them. A Time of Real Trial and Suffering for the Whole World. Dear Jesus, once again calm the storm!
I'm starting the 54 day rosary novena tonight that this will pass quickly and that we and our families and communities will be spared. I've done this novena twice in recent months for different intentions and have received answers every time. Time to pick up the weapon

I understand this comment is a little late, BUT... I really enjoyed that movie. I was still doing prepping when I went to see that with my oldest daughter. Afterward I asked her if she understood better why I was stockpiling water, food, etc. She gave a noncommittal "hmph" which I took to mean "Yes, but I'm not going to admit it to YOU!"
