Semler identifies as a "committed Catholic," while Weninger, ordained by Cdl. Christoph Schönborn in 2011, was outed as a Freemason when celebrating Mass at the consecration of the new lodge of Mark Master Masons No. 1954 in 2014. Condon in his 2015 doctoral dissertation from the School of Canon Law of the Catholic University of America, observes that "the perceived benignity of the Lodge is immaterial since it is ... the underlying philosophy of Masonry which renders membership toxic to the Faith." Condon expresses shock at "the presumption of the authors" of the Lichtenau Declaration, which, he points out "did not address the central objection of the Church, through the centuries, to Masonry — that its very nature promoted religious indifferentism and a relativistic and secondary understanding of membership in the Church." Why is a married homosexual one of the leading contenders in the Democratic party to become president and another a communist, and another a billionaire in the United States? There is no way that normal people would advance such extreme candidates for president. The agenda is to demoralize the Christians so that we throw up our hands in disgust. It is not Bloomberg's billions that are the problem, but what he chooses to do with them. Remember that a billionaire championing the normal people, President Trump, has chosen to use his talents for the defense of the good. Bloomberg could have done the same, but has chosen not to do so. Mr. Bloomberg has some baggage rattling around in his past. Some of his comments in public forums --about farmers and factory workers. About women. About abortion. About the elderly. He sounds very cold in a purely materialist utilitarian view of things. Everyone is expendable. The idea that we are made in the image of God is a foreign concept. Perhaps even a roadblock.

I agree with you both about Bloomberg and the following may not come across so well but I'm going to post it anyway. Just a few years ago it seems that the possibility of a "Jewish" US President would have been unthinkable. In addition, just a few years ago the possibility of a US President who is homosexual (& Christian) would have been unthinkable too. So what has changed? I think the difference is that most people are only Jewish or Christian in name. Just look at all of the Democratic politicians who claim to be Catholic and yet they are fighting for late term abortion. I think, for the most part, I am simply stating what we all know already. That is, that most of the country and the world is far from God. I think that Conchita of Garabandal said in an interview that we lost the sense of sin and that was awhile ago. Boy was she right and look at us now. I couldn't help but think of all this when someone on the forum recently claimed that the owner (and creator) of a certain online news source is Jewish and the claims that the new source is anti-semitic don't make any sense, in so many words. But is this man a practicing Jew or is he a Bernie Sanders or Mike Bloomberg? I am not trying to throw stones at these men in particular because as I said I think that this is true for the majority of people right now. I wonder if things are at their worst but I am honestly not certain what was meant by that. I don’t know either Carol, but things are really ramping up. These politicians who use their faith to make the public think they are good moral people, are great deceivers. The further the world falls away from God, the closer we come to total destruction, and as it stands now the world has lost it’s moral compass. I see The Holy Catholic Church as the anchor of the world. When the Church falls, mankind is set adrift, opening the door to greater destruction.
