One happy outcome, many of the women who were so vocal and influential in bringing in abortion have lost their seats, Zappone, Regina. Doherty, Kate Ó Connell, Lisa Chambers, Catherine Noone, Jan Ó Sullivan, Joan Burton, Mary Mitchell Ó Conner, Ruth Coppinger etc

A wonderful English Philosopher who died recently.

    Sadly not really a believer.

    Still.

i hope he is not in hell.

    Poor man.

I could listen to him all day. Clear thought and a Great Conservative thinker.

    But without God. Poor man.

I suspect Jacob Rees Mogg is morally delusional in being a member of a party that supports the murder of the unborn without being so himself.

    How is that morally possible?

Could I be a member of the Nazi Party who killed Jews without supporting killing Jews myself?

Can I call myself a Catholic if I am a member of a Party that supports radically immoral policies.?

As St Paul said the ungodly cannot be yoked with the unGodly.

    Let my yes be yes.

    Let my no be no.

    2 Corinthians 6:14

    Do Not Be Unequally Yoked
13As a fair exchange, I ask you as my children: Open wide your hearts also. 14Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? 15What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

This is how I feel about prolife democrats. How can you ally yourself with a party that proclaims and works stridently for the culture of death from infants to the elderly. You cant. You have to leave them. Period.

Sometimes it takes you to get really angry..a righteous anger and just scream at the top of your voice,

    'No! No! No! No!'

Then maybe to march out of the room and slam the door in their faces.

Murdering unborn babies is a case in point.

This was free derry corner, so called because the people of tje bogside built barricades around the area. The focal point, and main artery was here at free derry corner.
The soldiers and protestant pilice would raid the area at night, attacking people in their beds.
So the people rose-up. And kept the soldiers out of the area altogether.
This is where the war broke out in Northern Ireland.
I was born and lived in a house about 100 yards aling that row.
They where vicious, as Padraig days. They would shoot into the are using snipers. On one Sunday in January, in 1972, they killed 13 innocent people.

The problem is, somewhere along the line Sinn Fein got taken-over, usurped by Soros and the left. Now they are traitors. And tje Irish people follow blindly.

The enemy is now within our barricades, and we simple Irish, with all our will and spirit and sprightliness cannot fight such a covert enemy...
    We have succumbed.
100s of years of persecution by the Brits couldn't get us.
Why? Because we had God with us. Because we had the faith.
Without the faith we have been defeated, in a mere generation.

Good question, perhaps Padraig might be able to answer that one.
As a footnote: the majority do not even know sinn fein have been taken over. How scary is that!!

If you pray you are bright eyes and bushy tailed.

If you don't pray you are not.

It is as simple as that.

One great thing about following God is that things become uncomplicated.

A for instance murdering unborn babies is wrong.

    What's complicated about that?

Yet they make it very, very, very complicated

    John 12:40

"He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn--and I would heal them."

The conservatives allow a free vote for their members on moral issues like abortion and same sex marriage. It is a broad church and coalition.

Have been following election closely. Voted as well.

    Few good signs

Reiki master Zappone lost her seat.

Lot of Pro abortion prominent women lost their seats- Joan Burton, Regina o Doherty, Ruth coppinger, Kate o connell etc.

SF astonishing win of 37 seats.

Half of 37 seats were unheard names who lost in previous council local elections as most of them got average 200 votes. But yesterday they got ranging from 10k vote to 21k votes. Astonishing turnaround as voters were totally fed up with FFG for 9 years in power.

Now wait and see how it would develop re formation of new govt or another election(likely in my view).

Yes I think there will be another election. I would be amazed if SF aren;t planning for this; it is very much in their interests to do so. They could feel many more candidates and get many more seats.
