'Dignity' is not a word that appears in the Gospels, as far as I can recall. 'Charity', on the other hand...

Mr. Sachs? That's the Holy Spirit to neo Pelagian, rigorist, pepper faced, coprophagia fomenting, bead counting pew sitters like us. Get with the Church and show some latria to the divine Jeffrey.

Shut off your central heating, get out of your car and on your bike, stop eating meat, sign over the bulk of your wages to the CCHD and apologise to all those South Americans for having worked all your life to provide food for your family and paid into a pension fund to prevent you being a burden on your neighbour in your old age. Those South Americans are entitled to what you have. It's not their fault that their continuous cycle of coups and counter-coups hasn't delivered to them the same standard of living you enjoy. Hand it over or Holy Spirit Sachs will send you to the eternal Hell Pope Francis believes only exists for faithful Catholics.

Then sit back, relax and have a treat while you medidate on the wisdom of Pope Francis. I can't think of a more fitting treat than this:

Are you saying that since dignity is not mentioned in the Gospels, therefore St John Chyrsostom is wrong?

It's only natural to surmise that you were aiming that remark at me because I'm the one who posted Ann Barnhardt's article.
No, I am not being divisive.
Like Ann, I am after the truth.

You are not the only follower of AB. And what I said stands. It’s possible that you don’t see it.
I feel very uncomfortable when you take things personally. I feel that AB is a rabid individual and I feel that she has tunnel vision. I have a natural aversion to her.
You always say that you are after the truth. But are you open to anything other than what AB says?
That’s what I meant by my characterization of her.

Seek not the things that are too high for thee, and search not into things above thy ability: but the things that God hath commanded thee, think on them always, and in many of his works be not curious. For it is not necessary for thee to see with thy eyes those things that are hid. In unnecessary matters be not over curious, and in many of his works thou shalt not be inquisitive. For many things are shewn to thee above the understanding of men. And the suspicion of them hath deceived many, and hath detained their minds in vanity (Ecclus. iii. 22ff).

Knowledge of the history and nature of the crisis can be good for the faithful to properly respond, but we must also realize that much of this evil will remain hidden from us and known only to God. Take what is helpful to know for the duties of your state, and leave the rest to God.From :Against the Vice of Curiosity

It's a balancing act, it's a Catholic thing to have moderation in all things.

Jesus Christ was not moderate in preaching the truth.

    Here's the truth................

It was a Catholic thing to have moderation in all things. Not any more. History is repeating itself but with a demonic twist. It's more evident in Europe but it isn't and won't be confined to Europe. On the face of it, we have a smorgasboard of options to choose from in our political process and we have Bishops who profess the Creed.

In fact, we have a choice between atheism and atheism. One form of atheism presents itself as either centre right, centre left or far left depending on little tweaks in its economic plans. The other form of atheism presents itself as right with a conservative, religious veneer. None of the choices is good for believing Catholics.

The demonic twist is that the Church, led by an evidently apostate Pope whose ascent to the papacy is questionable, is making absolutely no attempt to persuade Catholics that they should be seeking a moderate alternative. Instead, the Church has positioned itself firmly in the camp of the left leaning atheists, calling the right wing atheists anti-Christian while taking funds hand over fist from the mega rich pseudo centrist atheists.

Burying our heads in the sand and pretending that Pope Francis is a valid Pope serves neither us nor God. Even if the Holy See was vacant when he was elected, he has proved often enough by his words and deeds that he is not Catholic and being Catholic is a fundamental requirement for being Pope.

We all know that. The Bishops know it too and it looks like they are waiting him out hoping that all will be well when Cardinal Twinkle Toes from the Philippines replaces him. The same Bishops will congratulate themselves for dodging a bullet when they avoid electing someone like the German Bishop, no doubt inspired by Kasper the "great theologian" who has just announced to the world that Jesus became a human being and not a man. We're on a downward trajectory and sinking fast.

Squabbles between Ann Barnhardt and Chris Ferrera are the least of our troubles.

    True.

Hypocrites abound in the Vatican these days.

    Hypocrites abound elsewhere too.

Argentina was once among the ten richest countries in the world.

General Peron’s socialist/populist policies and socialist indoctrination destroyed the country.

Later peronist governments added to the chaos and corruption.

But of course, as this pope constantly reminds us, the evil Yankees are to blame for it all.

Yes, they are my own words. What source do you want?

The Pope told his atheist friend Scalfari that the incarnated Jesus was not divine.

Here's a link to a source for Bishop Bode from Germany saying that Christ became a human being not a man: https://twitter.com/EdwardPentin/status/1225482248180371456

The Abu Dhabi statement about God willing a plurality of religions is not Catholic.

You can do your own research to find links to reports of Bishop Sances Sorondo singing the praises of the atheist Chinese Communist government.

And you can do your won research to find links to sources showing the Church taking money from abortion promoting foundations.

PF's logic would be that Argentina was immoral when it was successful and is praiseworthy now that everyone is broke. This, to my mind, is not what Our Lord meant. Think of his words on the 'talents' and of his words to Martha, of which Judas disapproved.
