I miss the directness of Mac. He didn't try to be diplomatic as I do. There was no fiddlin' around with him. This quote of Mac comes from Christmas, 2017: Yes, the best prepping we can do today is to become saints right now while we can. May he rest in peace forever under Mary's Mantle!
I wish to send a Rosary and I will enter their names at St Anthony's Monastery to be included in all their prayers and Masses.
Mac’s words inspired me to be a better Catholic. He was very faithful and I always looked forward to reading his posts. I still pray for his soul and for healing for his family.
HH, Thank you for starting this thread. I will be praying a rosary for them also and I requested that a candle be lit at Our Lady of Lourdes sanctuary in France. + Luke also made a big impression on me especially his devotion to Our Lady. May God bless his family always.
Strangely enough I read an old post yesterday and the comment he made(pasted below) had me roaring with laughter,,God Bless Luke's (Mac's) family may he rest in peace Amen..
I remember when his son was born after many daughters. The joy in the whole family! I know God never makes a mistake. It was time for Luke to go home. But it is still wrenching.
I will be adding intentions to my daily rosary praying for Mac's soul and for our Lord and Our Blessed Mother to comfort and protect his wife and children.

As a father around the same age of a large family myself he is on my mind often and in my prayers a lot. I can't imagine the suffering of knowing you can't lead your family on earth any longer... it brings tears to my eyes thinking about it - and he offered it up so well. I'll offer a rosary and mass for this spiritual bouquet for him and his family.
The rosary, adoration, benediction, holy mass and the stations of the cross on this Friday the 31st January. For Luke's family and the repose of his soul; I will also be asking him to pray for us.
Confident though I am that the Lord greeted Mac with the words we all want to hear: "Well done, good and faithful servant", I have offered a Rosary for the repose of his soul and have enrolled him in the Eucharistic Guild at Silverstream Priory. I have also enrolled Josephine. Two special Masses are offered weekly at the priory - one for the deceased and one for the living. Enrolment in the Eucharistic Guild lasts for one year, and the enrolled also share in other prayers offered by the monks at the Monastery.
