May God forgive him. This is a very serious sin. Claiming to be a priest when you are not. For a Catholic I believe this is one of the reserved sins. You have to go to the Bishop himself for Absolution.

That's the six million dollar question. My take on it would be that the Holy of Holies is the Mass. So that the mass is altered in some way so that it becomes an Abomination. I don't believe this has happened yet. The second part is that the Chalice of God's Justice over flows. Our Blessed Lady has referred to this several apparition sites around the globe. That the Chalice is overflowing. We have only to look at the world around us to see that this is so.
Daniel may not even be Catholic, Padraig. I agree, the chalice is overflowing. The Blessed Mother has also mentioned that She can't hold back the arm of Her Son, any longer. I think the Mass is the target for the Abomination of Desolation as well. I agree with you that it hasn't happened yet. YET.

I visited Medjugorje in the early years of the apparitions and stayed in a villager's house for the week with a few others including a priest. One of the other people (a very small thin man in his thirties) was determined he would get into the room for an apparition, even though only priests were allowed in at that time because of the room was so small. Anyhow, on the eve of the apparition this chap disappeared from our little group and later arrived back to the house dressed in priest's clothes including a collar. It turned out he knew a priest elsewhere, had borrowed his clothes and gained entry to the apparition undetected. The real priest in our house was understandably livid when he found out. It was kinda amusing at the time because the clothes must have belonged to Fr. Burst a Button. They were huge and fitted this particular man like a child, the collar was at least twice his size.

Was in Medjugorje twice many years ago. First one was amazing with summer weather as i got a job after that. I was allowed to enter apparition room after priest spoke to Fr Slavko re me. I didn't feel anything as i saw one priest sweating very heavily and nervous as well. Surprised to see him in that state. 6 months later, in December as it was unreal cold weather which penetrated my thick gloves with 100%. It was the coldest penetrating winter i ever experienced something lke -15c. It was the1st time i experienced an evil presence -menacing as i was frightened. Then afterwards, i sort of felt it wasnt true apparition even though i entered apparition room for 2nd time. Blue apparition site was something else. I never went back since then. That time it was pre commericalisation no hotels, all farm houses where i stayed,
