The Kremlin in Moscow was a monastery dedicated to Our Blessed Lady. The FIrst thing the Reds did when they took over was to place a Red Star over the steeple.

Glad they rebuilt it, but to what end? The Russian Orthodox is a STATE run Church. The hierarchy are all communists...Their state run church just corrals the masses into a facade. It is beautiful and artistic tho...

 

Yes, they are sadly as close to the State as ever. As bad for them as for the Anglicans. Vladimir Putin is sponsor of the beautiful and historic Sretensky Monastery where the Patriarch Kiril is the Monastic Superior and Archmandirite Tikron (Putins Spiritual Director) lives. th men described Putins first two terms as President, 'Miracles'..sigh.

A brothel was recntly found operating in a building owned by the monastery in Moscow. It had been on the go for a long time ; the building was, supposedly used a seminary of the Sretensky Monastery. Sexual services on the premises were on offer from 1,750 roubles (£35) an hour. (more sighs).

But I heard a strange report from the onastery a while back on the BBC World Service. The monks were being asked about there long going relationship to Putin and whilst Putin was touring the gorunds one of the4 monks was seen kissing the Presidents hand. THis is a sign of veneration for one who is taken to be very holy or a living saint.

When the senior monk in question was asked if he considered then that President Putin was a saint he became very cagey, angry and defensive.

President Vladimir Putin is no saint as even his most ardent supporters would say. Vladimir currently for instance has five yachts and 26 palaces.. (yet more sighs)

Not that we in the the Catholic Church can throw many stones after the child sex abuse scandal but I think we are in a much, much better postion vis a vis independence with states.

As it is whatever Putin and his cronies get up to wil lcontinue to get the Orthodox nod.

 

Ah well I am still on the night shift in the hospital! 5 Nights in a row! I am only covering because people are off on holiday but it is a nice change from working days. There have been riots around the hospital the last few days. On Friday when I came in I had great difficulty and was worried, for if the rioters had stopped me in my car and found I was a Catholic it would have gone very ill with me

But it is quiet tonight so I'll finish this about my dreams about the Warnig and then I will return to the thread on the , 'Seven Gardens of Prayer'.

The first thing I hasten to say is my dreams concerned the immediate precursor to the Warning rahter than the actual Illumination of Conscience itself which I did not experience. However althought it is a precursor it is still very,very important. My dreams showed me that God is not going to just hit us directly with the Illumination, this would be very unkind, so we can see the Signs in the Heaven as a kind of pat on the shoulder to get our attention . So the Warning comes in two stages. In a way it is a little like a doctor who takes his patient into his surgery and gives her patient a good talking to before the procedure. If the Doctor was to grab her patient and start cutting without getting him ready the poor guy would have a screaming fit. Well God is always a gentleman , so the Signs immediately before the Illumination.

The sun did not dance at Fatima by accident, nor does it dance by accident at other Marian sites such as Betania and Medugorje. Nor indeed are these Marian visitations to be be regarded as isolated, they are, each of them Cahpters leading to a denouement at the Warning and what is initially seen in the heavens will come to completion in the heart at the Illumination of Conscience, so it is true to say that the sun and stars first dance in the sky and then they will dance in our hearts.

Heaven indicates in these things the future events which are to occur in the Warning and further precedes events which are to occur at the End of Time.

 

"A new fire will come down from heaven and will purify all humanity, which has again become pagan. It will be like a judgment in miniature and each one will see himself in the light of the very Truth of God. Thus sinners will come back to grace and holiness; the straying, to the road of righteousness; those far away, to the house of the Father..."
A flash of brilliant white light (obviously bright enough to attract the attention of the third of the people in the world who will presumably be sleeping) will occur, "like 2 stars that collide and make a lot of light, but don't fall down." (Conchita's description).
For a few minutes, all machines will stop, there will be a supernatural sign visible watched by everybody, and, most important, every person on earth will confront his or her sins with God, like a general examination of conscience, or a "particular judgment" with the chance to change. The personal experience leading each person on earth to a good Christian life.
"This will be the one time, as never before in the history of mankind, when man will be given the same realization that is given at the hour of his death. This will be My greatest act of Mercy!........."
It will be a "correction" of our conscience: the consciences of all will be illuminated by God so that we will see at once what sin really is and how we have offended God. We will see ourselves as we really are in the sight of God. This illumination of our minds will be "the ultimate act of mercy" before God's justice is sent upon the earth.
Indeed, the prophet Habakkuk (600 B.C.) foretold that ,

"The earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord's glory" (Habakkuk 2:14) - a knowledge which makes our sinfulness stand out all the more vividly.
And in 1 John 16:8 - When the Holy Spirit comes, He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation _ we have an allusion to the Warning.
After the Warning, it has been promised at Garabandal a "Great Miracle" [the greatest Miracle that God has ever performed; one during which "the sick will be cured" (Joey Lomangino, who is blind, was promised sight. This is one of a few *specific* healings mentioned. The blanket prophecy is that "the sick present will be cured".), "non-believers will believe"; after which a permanent sign, without a doubt left by God, will remain visible but, like smoke, incapable of being felt.
According to one visionary:
"... a living crucifix will appear and all will see the rays of light.
Then a great sign will appear above and around all places where I have been. A pillar of light _ spinning light, almost a flame, swirling and spinning. The flame of God's love."
Over 30 years ago, Conchita of Garabandal said the Miracle will happen on a Thursday in April between the 8th & 16th of the month, within the lifetime of Joey Lomangino (now 65) [and before the end of the century according to many sources], on the feastday of a young martyr of the Eucharist & on the day of a great event in the Church.

 

Maybe a massive solar flare hitting another planet? We stand and say ooooh, ahhhh! That could be us! gulp. or it could be a full on solar flare hitting us...gulp...gulp...

 

I read recently that we can say there three Advents. The Advent of the Chosen who waiting for the birth of Jesus.
The Advent of the Faithful who wait on the Birth of jesus in their hearts. The third Advent is the long wait for the COming of Jesus at the End of Time.

However I think we cna also speak of greater and lesser Advents of the breaking forth of Christ into history. SUchan Advent for instance as was the Second Vatican Coucil, the greatest of all the ChurchCOuncils and for which Blessed Pope John 23rd prayed when he asked that the Holy Spirt be poured forth on the Church. aAnother Advent occured in the birth and life of St Francis of Assisi whose legacy may very well have saved the Church from destruction at its darkest ebb.

So too then it is with us faithful Marian remnant as wait in our turn for imminent star(s) which will prefigure the ending of our own Advent with this little Second Coming. We ike another group of shephards who stared into the sky in hills around Bethlehem to be startled by the sight of a brilliant star and a host of angels.

We to oshall see the heavens procalim the Glory of the Lord as the stars dance.

I wonder what will happen to TV after the warning, the views may go down considerably, well I hope they take the trash out for good.

 

I need help further explaining to my youngest children about the warning to take place..ages 10 and 12.
My son came home and said the kids at school are saying the world will end on DEC. 21st! I told him the world is not going to end on that day.
I did try my best to explain that the warning will probably take place since many people do not believe in God and that they think we evolved from monkeys, but God made everyhting seen and unseen. He quickly said the air!
I told him to not worry, that where ever we are, together or seperate , do not be afraid, He will talk to us all and we will all know all the good things we have done and the bad. They will know without a doubt there is a God.
I did say for him to tell the kids this...I doubt he will.
It is my 12 year old daughter, junior high, she loves the Lord yes, but is unsure of these occurances to come..she is slowly digesting them..
Any thoughts..or just let it be and let God do it for now?

 

It sounds like you did a great job explaining things. I have a 9 year old son and I know it can be challenging to explain things to kids. The only thing you might add about the "end of the world" where God is concerned, it is not so much about the ending of this world but the beginning of a new, perfect world. This is often lost even amongst Christians. The focus is always on the ending, not the new beginning.

 

It is the beginning of scary stuff for them and I expect God will assist them in knowing/understanding better after these " shake ups", the warning, scary in itself, but at least they will be prepared, then peace will fill their hearts as they come to realize that they did not perish on that day and as they come out and pull through the warning itself. I doubt it will be averted at this point...I am just unsure of what is to take place afterwards getting to the new paradise and what to say about that..how can I say anything for I cannot predict.
I told them regardless what happens, Satan, the darkness etc..the rosary is key, protective medals..that is all so far.
I did mention there will be a war between Satan(his army) and everyone...and that God will win and the men will have to fight...he got scared. He quickly put on his medals and scapular.
He even held the door for all the parishoners after mass...he is so sweet anyway.
And I reminded him..you must obey your parents the first time.
I told them we are blessed to be chosen in our lifetime to receive mercy for our sins, to be here to witness the miracle to take place.

 

That is very wise. I know people whose children/teens are suicidal. We truly must be careful what and how we say things and show by our actions and words that we have hope.

 

I stood alone and could see huge distances right across the world. The world was going about its daily buisness and everything seemed normal ; there was no snese of expectaion. But something drew my attention to the sky. I saw the stars begining to move.

I wanted to draw peoples attention to this but it was as though they didn't notice at once. I knew at once this was the precursor to the Warning. Then all over the sky their was movement. It was a though the entire sky began a dance, stars everywhere moving , but not at random, but IN ORDER. Like a celestial barn dance. Then right across the entire world people were staring at the sky pointing in awe but in great fear. Many, many people ran away to hide.

I can't tell you the huge reverent feeling of expectaion that filled me a kind of dreadful awe.


I heard like a music or a huge expectation coming from the darkness and I knew Jesus was coming towards us accompanyied by hosts of angels. A minor judgement, the gates of heaven had opened.

In thinking of this I am reminded of the message form Medugorje at Christmas when the child Jesus spoke. For it seems to me that Mary in being sent from heaven all over the world these many, many years comes to prepare us for the Second COming of her son. Not the End of Times Coming but a Judgement. The Warning. It also seems to me that a good measure of the Time to come will be when Mary withdraws and Jesus starts to take centre stage.

Such an exciting description - we will be like the people of Fatima on the day of the Miracle of the Sun!

The Church teaches definitively that the Second Coming of Jesus comes at the end of the World that is a full corporeal return in the clouds in all His Glory.

But I am convinced from Sacred Scripture that there is what I call an interim coming of Christ that is a spiritual coming but I am not sure how Christ will manifest Himself. He is coming to check on His vineyard His Church, which he entrusted to Peter.

Hi, I am new to this forum. I really like this picture chosen for me. How are the pictures chosen? I am 54 years old and when I was very young (9 or 10), my dad took me to a presentation of the happenings at Garabandal. He passed away when I was 13. I became (born again, converted) when I was 18 and my journey has been a beautiful road that has travelled many valleys and mountains. Around twenty years ago, a neighbour went to Medjugorje and her rosary bead links turned to gold so I began to look at Marian appariations again. Because I was so deeply in love with our Lord, I needed understanding and it has taken time for me to be where I am today. Today, I have seven children (mostly grown) who are not following the church or the Lord. It is a real worry, so I really hope that the warning comes before any thing happens to them. It has been a great suffering to see them grow away from their upbringing. My husband is a practicing Christian but he does not believe in confession or praying the rosary so it has been very difficult. I remember when I felt the same as he did, and I was so devoted to the Lord, I didn't see the point of praying to the saints. Padraig, did you say that Mary spoke to you before? Will you ask her to pray for my children. I have been trying to follow the tenants of Medjugorje, but not always easy when it is only me. My 28 year old son had a vision (when he was 16) of Jesus when he was 16 so it is not hard to believe that Mary spoke to you.
