Large sections of America are traversing in the same direction as Ireland. Had Hillary Clinton gotten into the presidency, we would already have passed the degradation in Ireland and set up one of the horns and crowns of the Beast right here in our nation.

The Americans are certainly leading the way in the English-speaking world, but I am optimistic there are others resisting elsewhere. People can only be encouraged at the refusal of the US bishops to be intimidated. As there must be quite a few in their number who were appointed by Pope Francis, but were conspicuous by their absence in supporting McElroy and Cupich, this should instill some doubt in the Vatican's confidence to carry the day.

There are pessimists, and they might still be right, who predict that Pope Francis' successor will be even more extreme on account of his appointment of so many Cardinals. But how good is his data-collection? Perhaps he only had a rudimentary knowledge of many of his appointees. Perhaps there is nobody as far gone as himself. There is still hope, with the help of God, that the next papacy will actually bring a reaction, even if only a modest one.

Thankfully, Ireland is too small to make much difference.

God kept her out. He heard the prayers of the faithful remnant --Catholic and evangelical. I thank Him frequently for His kindness and mercy in saving us. Now we have to pray for "the completion of the good work He has begun..." the 2020 election looms. Much much prayer and sacrifice needed.

Yes, God kept Hillary out through our prayers/penance and in doing so, the deep deep state corruption in our country is now being exposed daily. The unveiling. Same is true with our beloved Church. Our leader (Pope Francis) has helped, perhaps unintentionally, to unmask the evil within our hierarchy and clergy much more quickly than if Pope Benedict had stayed at the helm. This is why I am convinced Emeritus Benedict clearly understood God's plan to unveil the evil in the Church, but he had to step aside in order for it to be clearly vetted. The rats undercover in the hierarchy and clergy would not have been flushed out had Pope Benedict not resigned. Further more, I believe this holy man of God has known, perhaps since his 1969 prophecy about the "church becoming very small, but very holy", that he had a part in exposing it's corruptions in the house of God. I think he also knows he is the Fatima "bishop in white" and has taken to silence and prayer to prepare. The world and those corrupt in the Church are seemingly gaining ground at the moment, but God has a plan and we have a part in it through the recitation of the rosary, novena's, the sacraments and of course holy mass. The Warning will climax God's mercy and then whoa to those in the world who will enslave themselves to the antichrist for a period of time. The era of peace is coming and that is our hope and trust in God's word in scripture (Rev:20) and our Lady of Fatima's 1917 prophecy.

I suppose there are good honest Catholics who think that to be a Good Catholic means supporting any Pope to the Hilt no matter what.

I think his views come more from the heart than the head in that they are simply not logical.

I don't know, I can't get my head around such views, they come from such a different place than my own. But there is no doubt that there are good devout Catholics who see nothing wrong with this Pontificate whatsoever. I can't understand it, but it is true.

You know I always have it on the back of mind , what if Pope Francis is right about a lot of this stuff and I am totally wrong. After all he is the Pope and who am I? Nothing really.

But its not really at the end of the day about what Pope Francis thinks or what I think.

It is about what Our Holy Mother the Church thinks and has thought for the last 2,000 years. It is not about being a Conservative or a Traditionalist or all those other labels the Media likes to stick on people .

It is simply about being a Catholic.

Something is either right or it is wrong.

That's what it boils down to. I do try to keep a very open mind.

    But either something is right.

    Or it is wrong.

There really is no in between.

Yes this is true, Padraig, and one of these Catholics lives under my roof. It doesn't matter what is coming out of the Vatican, as far as they are concerned we should accept everything, and they are at peace with it. Unfortunately the only thing we can do is pray for them. I wish I could erase everything I know about this Pontificate from my memory, but it's too late for that. Perhaps God gave some of us the eyes to see in order to protect the faithful who are not ready to accept the truth. How can we fight the battle if we cannot identify the enemy.

I must go away and pray about this. Why when wolves come do some sheep see him and others don't? Such a mystery.

Or may be like myself when I questioned a priest a good few years ago about what happens if there is a bad pope or the antichrist is on the throne of Peter he said the gates of hell will not prevail you must follow Peter o_Oo_O

So do we follow a pope to hell?. o_O

Prayer and sacrifice, yes. But I am convinced that Trump will be defeated and the USA choose the path of capitulation, so that preparation of the Man of Lawlessness will resume. I pray for our uncouth leader and will vote for him, but we are under a Divine timetable. May I be wrong in my lonesome prediction of a dubious timeframe.

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for President Trump and for the USA which finds herself on a precipice of decision.

This is how I work through it too. Having lived through the mess after VII I can recognize waffle words. They were everywhere in those days. "Dialog" "accompany" "walk with" and the undoing of any reminders that we have a soul to save. All emphasis on better lives here on earth. It was all balloons and banners and happy banal songs at Mass. I survived it with the help of Our Lady and TAN books and fellow pilgrims. I marvel at the shower of grace I was given. I think we have to keep charity at all times but we also have to call out heresy and bad catechesis. Our Lady I am convinced keeps us on the narrow path it is getting harder and harder but she is with us if we ask her. I just think Rosaries Rosaries Rosaries and Eucharistic adoration and frequent Mass and she will do the rest. I live in hope.

NO. "Even if an angel from heaven brings you a gospel different from the one we preached to you brothers let him be anathema." Nuance and obfuscation of 2000 year old teaching is always a clue. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. I will stay with the bark of Peter even if a particular Peter is drilling holes in the boat. But I will not accept heresy. I will not see Our Lord's words overturned or reinterpreted or questioned. "Did God say...." that strategy goes all the way back to the Garden of Eden. May God protect us.

Dr Taylor Marshall and Michael Voris have some good advice on this in general terms here. I must say I admire them for being so laid back and laughing about it all. This little piece is only four minutes but contains wise advise I think.

Why do you think that many of Pedro Regis' messages say, "stay with the true magisterium of the church"? It is clear to me, it is heaven's way of saying.....I know the hierarchy and clergy are creating allot of confusion and and division in the church. Your answer is to stay with what has always been taught in matters of faith and morals. I am not one for dancing on the head of a pin. If what is being said makes one scratch their head then don't give it a second thought. If it is from God, it will provide peace of heart. Oh, it will get so bad soon that if people do not know the unchanging truths of God, they will be lost. The Warning will bring clarity, but most will migrate easily back to their situation ethics and choose the wider road to perdition. Truth has no power over them.

Are you saying you've seen reports that majority of the USCCB are preferring a more conservative and traditional Church vs what we are seeing supported by Pope Francis?

I was referring to the recent events at the US bishops' general assembly. The issue was much narrower than the preference you describe. In fact, it was ostensibly all about abortion. This stand by the US bishops was over an issue that I would say that the Bergoglianists would dare not use as the battleground for a war, but it hopefully does suggest there might be other issues about which US, and other, bishops might be more conservative and traditional than the Bergoglianists, but regarding with which they might not have the courage or confidence to defy the Bergoglianist faction.

If you read the article from last week in the Catholic Thing, a very sober, reputable and orthodox site, by Stephan P. White, entitled "The Bishops Stand-In Their Own Way", you can see for yourself.

It's not outright war, by any means, but it represented a definite isolation of and resistance to, the overt Bergoglianist side. I'm hoping it might be a straw in the wind.
