Yeahbut the Vatican tried to bury it bythe back door. There is a good video on Utbue which sees this horrible way of doing things at work. An American visotr calls into Akita Convent and does a double take at what he sees. I will see if I can find it. Mmm I am at work and can't lay my hands on it. In Meetings with Mary; Visions of the Blessed Mother by Janice Connell, the author recounts an event that occurred while she and her husband were visiting the convent in Akita while doing research for her book (pgs 142-145). Apparently a tall nun awakened Mrs. Connell and her husband in the middle of the night and led them downstairs to relax in a special, healing bath and told the couple that "God wants you to enjoy His mineral waters. This is His gift to you tonight." The next day when the Connells were discussing the healing baths from the previous evening with the Mother Superior, she replied that no one had come to take them downstairs as all the sisters were asleep in the cloister. The Mother Superior then encouraged them to look at all the sisters in the convent as there were no tall nuns among them. It seems as though an angel may have assumed a female form in this story. Interesting that it is Akita as well!
I agree that the message is a little lackluster. However, imho it's brevity almost makes it more believable. If I were going to fabricate a message from heaven, I think I would embellish it a bit. Just my own musings...

Sondra Abrahams who has experienced a few near death experiences.....covered years ago by Spirit Daily and FOCUS videos of the former Archbishop of New Orleans, known as the "pope" of New Orleans by the local faithful.....spoke of a personal visitation once during the rush of the holiday season, "disguised" as a bum/begger, whom she dismissed w/o heart since the weather was bad and she didn't have time for him.....she said "go away you old wino"! Later she was told that this person was an angel in disguise to test her true charity. She said that she didn't know where that had gone....probably south!....since she realized her true motivations, esp. during this holy season. There are many testimonies of people who were assisted by persons who just appeared out of nowhere when they were alone and threatened or having been in an accident, et.,....only to suddenly disappear from view afterwards. I don't quite know the minds of Bishops and Cardinals; I suppose it might be Charitable to think the best. However I recall that when King Henry the viii broke with Rome only one Bishop in the whole of England , John Fisher stood firm. When does prudence become cowardice? When does prudence become cowardice? When does prudence become Cowardice and self interest? I often think of St John Fisher. Only one bishop in a country that had been considered devoutly Catholic. How quickly things descend and people too. I must pray harder for final perseverence and for priests and prelates.
Well really it only looked like a sound house from the outside. But inside it was eaten up by Termites. The same as our own. A big wake call for us as to how bad things were was when we discovered that our priests were molesting small children on a massive scale and our Bishop s, Cardianls and the Vatican itself were colluding in a mind blowing cover up. Then we knew there was massive Financial Corruption. Then we knew there was all kinds of heresy. Then we new that a huge proportion of our Clergy were active perverts. So we shouldn't exactly have been reeling in shock. Should we? Our House wasn't exactly sound or devout.
Yeah. I'm not a Theologian , but I often say, 'If you don't pray you'll pay...you'll go to Hell.' That goes for laypeople, that goes for, priests, that goes for Bishops, that goes for Cardinals.... and guess what? ..it goes for Popes too.
My very, very strong impression is that folks in the Vatican are totally, totally not praying at all. Well how do I know this? Because if yo love something very much you are always talking about it. If I love fishing it always comes up in the conversation. If I love children ; they are never far away. When does the simple subject of prayer ever come up with the Vatican/Pope Francis? Never Why because they never pray themselves. Their answer to things is Carbon Foot Print. Migrants. Gay Rights. Socialism. Never ever simple prayer. and if they never pray they are going to hell, because that is what the Catholic Cathichism teaches us, That those who pray will most certainly be saved.. ..and that those who do not pray will be most certainly be damned.
How can those who are most certainly going to hell themselves lead anyone else to heaven ? How do I know they are going to hell? Because they do not pray How do I know they do not pray? Because they never, ever talk about prayer. It is the furthest thing from their minds. No prayer. No heaven. It is as simple as that.
Carbon Foot Prints won't get you into heaven. Socialism won't do it. Gay rights won't save you. I've told this story before, but it's worth retelling here. Fr. Corapi and a bishop went and picked up Mother Teresa from the airport. On the way back, the bishop went on and on about all his programs and all he was doing, while Mother Teresa and another nun prayed the rosary. Finally he said,you know Mother, I'm so busy I don't even have time to pray. Without missing a beat, Mother Teresa looked straight at him and said, Father, if you're too busy to pray, you're too busy. Mother Teresa who did more social work in helping people was not at all impressed with this bishop and all his social projects to help people. We must pray. You can tell these people don't pray because they are so far from the truth, which is Jesus Christ. A child can see this. They are so full of themselves and their self righteousness, they are the true pharisees they accuse everyone else of being.
