Thanks everyone, these jokes make things better.

Father Hunwicke made the joke concerning the fiasco in the Vatican Gardens that people 'were being led up the garden path'.

So it's not just me? I have been suffering for two weeks with terrible headaches. And I never get headaches. I have been offering them up with the agony in the garden. Thinking they might be allergy related, or a means to suffer for the abominations going on in Rome.

Hmm, my right hip has been especially painful lately. Of course when I put in far less steps/miles per day, that contributes to it. Air pressure has never bothered me.

I suppose that hip and my unemployment could be my sacrifice this month and preceding. Aleve & extra strength tylenol do the trick when it flairs.

Now that you all mention it, I slammed my finger in my side van door October 3rd. Cut it bad, thought I broke it. It was bizarre. I couldn’t comprehend exactly how it happened. Now it makes sense.

    Yep.
I guess I missed most of this. For me it was sudden family trouble. Also the chapel where I do my holy hours was closed all last week. I felt orphaned. And unprotected. The nuns were on retreat but what a week to be without Eucharistic adoration. Sort of an enforced fast. And has anyone noticed the tactics of the pachamama brigade resemble those of Democrats here in US. Not even effort to hide their plan. Outright lies and by passing the Constitution and rule of law. Just full steam ahead. I pray this means they all know their time is short. I think some ugly things are about to be uncovered and revealed in both Vatican and Washington.

HH I think the clue in all of these accidents and sudden afflictions is shown dramatically in how you got that nasty sprain. Genuflecting at the ancient Mass! Something is NOT happy. And that is a good sign.(y)

I hope you are quickly restored!!(scuttling like a crab is so funny!! Wonderful description)

Wow,this is too much! Monday while running down to the barn while it was still dark I hit my head on a chicken roost and fell with the ten gallons of water. Have been suffering with a headache since (from the egg size lump) and numerous bruising and stiff muscles over my body.

I haven’t had any physical conditions (save a terrible migraine related to stress). However, we continue to suffer through the before mentioned family estrangement. And our one year old is in the PICU. He’s suffering a lot :cry:he has Down syndrome and he entire life can be summarized by suffering. Being forced to leave his country of origin, his loving biological mother and entire family, his culture...it’s almost too much. And now he suffers through incredible physical issues. :(Today I must find the strength to update his beloved biological mama. I tremble to reflect on the suffering in her heart...her only child on the other side of the ocean...if anyone ever wants to talk about Russia spreading her errors (our adopted boys are both from Ukraine), I can share the unfathomable suffering that still occurs due to the beliefs of communism (and now socialism). Our Lady of Fatima, pray for all families.

As the saints have reminded us, that our sufferings are a blessing if you use not only the large ones, but the smallest sufferings in a redemptive way. I’ve read that the only regret in heaven would be that we did have have the opportunity to do more “redemptive” suffering because of its immense value.

Also, we mortals sometimes hold a greater value to great works of charity, but sometimes heaven will show you that we completely underestimate the small, mundane and seemingly unimportant acts of charity ...even a smile to a stranger might have the value to change that individuals state of mind....because we never know the unspoken sufferings of another individual. Perhaps this was part of St. Theresa’s little way....small things done with great love. Heavens estimation and value of acts of charity well may be far above our own understanding and value.
God’s way is not necessarily our way.

Oh dear Francine, you’re certainly chosen by heaven to carry this enormous cross.....this is a lifelong commitment.
God must have certainly found you worthy to give this to you. Not everyone is capable of this enormous task...nor would everyone agree to accept it. Your reward will be worth it all...but not everyone would...or could do this.
God knows all of our limits....and He found you worthy to carry this cross...United to his own. It’s a walk to your own chosen / accepted Calvary. God bless you.

Im not sure about that... I reckon the Almighty will anger before that. If not for the spread and prevalence of the sin of abortion alone..
