Dear Sean, No matter what happens...our Almighty God will preserve the faith. No man, Pope, Cardinal or cleric will alter God’s will. We may move through a storm, but the truly faithful will not follow a false church or doctrine. The gates of hell are only open to those who enter through them by their own will. The souls of the faithful will not Be lost. Worry not....God has this friends. Trust Him....He is God! No power against His church will succeed. Look...the lay catholic leaders of our faith have their armor on....they are the soldiers of Christ! We are part of that army...if we choose. It’s our gift from God...Free Will! Thanks so much Beth. I wish I could think like that, but I worry greatly about making it through what is coming in one piece (spiritually I mean). I won't dredge up all of the thoughts that I have been ruminating over, but something wicked this way comes. And I think it is here, even at the doorstep. As Fr. Malachi Martin used to say, what is coming would test the faith of the greatest saints and I am surely not of that caliber.
Wow, yes that IS a powerful prayer, as is the first one on that list! Being unfamiliar with both, I read them, prayed them. My spirit does feel lighter. I also felt less concern for certain things, people. A few friends & I are going to see some of St Pio's relics Tuesday! Pray for us. I know he will be with us. I am hoping there are no fragrant flowers around...and he blesses our group☺
Yes I think you are right. It is coming and we will all be tested. We are already being tested. I think our survival spiritually depends on knowing of ourselves we cannot stand but with reliance on Our Lady and our Guardian Angels to walk us through this mess--or over this chasm--we will get there. Humility and charity and child like trust in God and Our Mother while praying and meditating on the Rosary. The Rosary is the weapon. (Padre Pio)
Dear Sean, You’re a man of great faith and wisdom. Your post have been a great inspiration to me and others as well here on MOG. All of us deserve Gods justice, but if we pray and trust, He wants to show and give us his unfathomable Mercy! If we just do what He asks, stay in a state of grace, He will provide us with everything we need to survive and attain heaven. Everyone I know that has faith is being tested beyond anything I’ve ever seen...the demons are running loose upon the earth...but there is NO power that can compete with the power of God. The sacraments, rosary, prayer and sacrifice will be honored in heaven. Jesus promised His Divine Mercy. We are His! We will be tested, but thanks to a God, we have the weapons and the armor of God. No power can compete with these weapons...none. Pray, hope and DONT WORRY! You are a particularly good example and a grace to everyone here at MOG! If you get down, St. Michael will pull you up...I rely of him daily! I can’t wait to meet him...by Gods Grace! Hope we meet in heaven! And your right...Fr. Malachi Martin warned us....and in my opinion....he had this nailed before most. Now we know what’s coming, suit up and prepare for battle! (Hint....God wins and we are in the army of God!

Thanks Beth for all the kind words and for taking the time to minister to me. I just overthink and over-worry about things and I don't think that can be helped. It's just baked into me. I don't participate in the sacraments anymore (except weekly Mass) because I don't know if I am in union with this pope or not. Not a good boat to be in, but I see no way out of it. I was trying not to mention that again as I truly don't want it to become another big discussion on here, but I just wanted to let you know why I can't just trust that everything will be okay. This current situation has really battered my faith. I listen to all of Fr. Malachi's audio talks every year or two. I think it's time to get them out again. Every time I re-listen I note new things that are just coming to light now. I hope we meet in Heaven as well. In fact I would like to meet everyone on the forum. hopefully we can all have a heavenly picnic
