Ugh, I just learned my sister's FiL has an aortic aneurysm needing a stent plus spots on his lungs and a tumor between the lungs. He will have biopsies on them today or tomorrow. He is such a dear man. While he's her FiL, he has always felt like a member of the whole family. When my mom was well, we had him over Christmas Eve for many years (he's Jewish btw). One question to be answered with biopsies - is this a recurrence of stage 4 lymphoma that he survived maybe 15 years years ago through a stem cell transplant or is it new? They were harvested from his marrow. He did have a tumor removed from his back a couple years ago. Also, my Uncle is in bad shape. (His wife was finally freed from a form of Dementia in October). Among other things, he needs surgery (which he put off to be with his wife daily) and has gained quite a bit of fluid weight. Kidneys are working. You are all in my prayers as well...That darn awful virus and pneumonia in AZ!!
Hi all, Just a note to thank you all for your prayers and tell you that the combined prayers of the glorious triumphant saints in heaven and the holy souls in purgatory and the prayer warriors of the church militant (that is of course you guys) along with many others; Have been heard by Our Most Dearest Mother and Queen, Mary Most Holy! Our prayers have been answered but not as I would have ultimately liked, none the less an answer to the prayer has been allowed to show the truth; the truth has not been squashed and so I can see that Mary has protected the innocent ! The Lord has allowed many twists and turns in the saga that is my life and in heaven you guys will probably hear about it on the grapevine! so I will not elaborate now. Suffice to say I have been privileged to experience a smidgen of our Lady's sorrows and this has brought me closer to Our Lady's Most Sorrowful Heart. I am now ( after 5 months) living back with my husband and it has been a difficult last 8 days, but in JESUS name is victory over all that distresses me! Amen! My beautiful son Jacob who defended his sisters, his grandmother, his nephews, myself and the family on Easter Sunday night, by pushing his father away and preventing him from perpetrating more bodily harm to more members of our family, was found guilty of self defence! That is apparently a new law in Australia. Go Figure! The Magistrate said that Jacob should have walked away from the physical and verbal violence that my husband Michael was perpetrating against his daughter and his family. However Jacob is a good man and he could not witness this injustice without defending the innocent. Praise God our prayers were answered and Jacob did not lose his job nor did he have a conviction recorded against him. Alleluia!! In the final ruling the magistrate did not look at Jacob but focused his attention on one person in the court, looking squarely at Michael he said "Mr Johnson senior you are not innocent" and after a pause... " you sir have anger issues that you need to address, because it seems that your issues have affected your family" Please continue to pray for my family, because the strategies and utensils of the evil one are so diverse yet consistent, implausible yet predictable that I would have been in stitches over the last 6 months due to the staged drama of it all, however it is my life, alas, and it is the eternal salvation of my family that is at risk, however I take my position under the feet of the Most Holy Virgin, Mother of God and remain at her heel to obey Her commands. Amen. So may it be.
Thank God. I cannot imagine the pain you have suffered and are continuing to suffer. When God tests us most it is always in regard to those and that we love the most. What a huge, huge Cross. He must love you very,very much indeed. Prayers and offering up mass tonight.
Josephite, You and your family have been through so much these past few months. It is good to hear that things are going in a much better direction and that your son Jacob was protected by Our Lady's mantle. I will continue to pray for you, your husband and your family in general - as I do for all MOG members and their families.

Thank God you're safe. Next Sunday is Rosary Sunday. I think that Monday is the actual feast day but October being the month of the Holy Rosary, the first Sunday is a special day for Our Lady of the Rosary. I'll include a rose for you and your family in my bouquet in honour of Our Lady.
Josephite I am so glad to hear from you. Your son Jacob is a hero. Plain and simple. A good man--the protector knight. May God richly bless him. And may God through Our Holy Mother protect and defend you and grant you the grace of seeing her Heart triumph in your marriage. Like Padraig i too feel humbled to see how bravely you carry this very big cross. .mine seem small indeed. I will keep you in prayer at my Masses and Holy Hours. Keep us posted.
