I'm reading a book at the moment by Dr Kelly Bowring, which I would not recommend because it places Pope Francis as a False Prophet and I can;t in conscience advertise such a thing. Although I am reading it out of pure curiousity. One part made me smile, he claimed the Tribulation would start in 2016 and end in 2019...Prophesy is littered with the dead bones of false claims:
I think actually as far as I recall Dr Bowring was on the forum for a brief while..anyway. Some of the things he brings up are interesting. He says ,..or claims for instance that after the secrets are all revealed to the visionaries at Medugorje are revealed the ten secrets will start to occur almost at once. So of course I am off now to check...how many of the visionaries have received the ten secrets? I'll just touch briefly tomorrow on what Dr Bowring thinks the first three secrets of Medugorje are, they are the three signs from God that initiate the fullness of the Tribulation. I suspect he may be right. But he seems to unnervingly certain about everything! How can anyone be so CERTAIN? (I hope he does not come back to tell me off for the critique)

He doesn't relay any of his personal prophecy to be condemned, rather what he has gathered through study and prayer, like any of us do. He simply puts his view out there. After I get done listening to this long.............. video, I will have my own take on whether what he speaks to is what I feel is trustworthy or not. I think we are all at a place where we have to use what grace and discernment God has given us to journey us into this crazy world and severely weakened church. We know who wins in the end, we just have to stay the faith through it all. Okay, here's my update ......I heard all I needed to hear between the 16 min to 18:20 minute mark to know his theology is not sound. We do not get lifted up to paradise with Jesus in the new heavens and new earth after the purification. Enough said.
Isnt he considered untrustworthy? Seems to me the official Church has put some warnings out on his views. I must check but I think so.
Yes. I encountered his writing just before Maria Divine Mercy was condemned. I think his writings are on a similar track.
He followed MDM and promoted their “prophecies” before MDM was condemned. Not sure what he’s doing now.
I used to think he proposed Pope Francisas False Prophet. But he specificaly and very firmly denies this is in his writings, to be fair tohim.I don;t wnat theatened with another law suit)
I sense he is yet another well meaning person, who has ventured off the track, even it if is a few percentage off track, it is enough for me to leave his good stuff alone. I believe it is easy to do so, with all the confusion in the church from the top cleric down. I have no problem with credible/trustworthy alleged prophets/messengers of our time. But, they must not contradict scripture or church teachings. This I believe Mr. Bowring has done.
I have gone through most of the video now and find it quite encouraging but maybe that is part of the trap. I find his spiritual pride makes me a little uneasy. But maybe over time we might see a lot of what he says come to pass, I guess most of that is what we know already. I agree with Fatima on the being lifted up to a new heaven and earth bit, makes me uneasy.
Out of curiosity I listened to Kelly Bowring's new video posted above. I think that his heart is in the right place but it doesn't seem like he has studied some older prophecies like Saint Hildegard unless, of course, he believes that the period of peace spoken of by Our Lady of Fatima will be very short because he does believe that Pope Francis is the False Prophet and since the False Prophet and the Antichrist (capital "A", the beast) are cast into the pool of fire together alive (Revelation 19:20) we would have to be very close to the Second Coming. This is what Mr. Bowring appears to be believe. In the video, he also suggests that MDM is from heaven and should be reconsidered. I am still not up to speed on MDM, so I can't comment on this statement of his but I thought I would mention this anyway. As I stated, Mr. Bowring's heart does appear to be in the right place even if I believe things will occurs differently than he has stated in this video and I think that it is very good that he is encouraging people to be prepared spiritually and physically too and he suggests prayer, lots and lots of prayer. Edited to add: I also believe that Mr. Bowring thinks that Our Lady and Our Lord are the two witnesses spoken of in Revelation 11, I don't believe this is correct. I just did a search on "two witnesses" in scripture and I found it interesting that the last two scriptures that were found are the following: Hebrews 10:28 A man making void the law of Moses, dieth without any mercy under two or three witnesses: Revelation 11:3 And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. Btw, I don't believe that Pope Francis is the False Prophet but I do believe that he has made void one of the laws of Moses and this why, in addition to all the signs that we have received over the last 6.5 years, that I believe that we are currently in the midst of Revelation 11 and 12 unfolding and the only beast that these two scriptures mention is the devil himself.
