For those interested in the extraordinary events and message of Akita: Michael J. Matt visits the shrine of Our Lady at Akita in Japan. There he discovers an apparent conspiracy to silence and cover up the apparitions of Our Lady to Sister Agnes Sasagawa back in 1973. Wow, That is interesting and unusual. You would expect, like Matt, that the message of Akita would be the focus of the site. Lots of cover ups all around the world. They are common now or we are questioning them now as more people wake up to the reality of our crazy world.
Among other very interesting details of this video, a slide toward the end: What is the 3rd Secret of Fatima? Akita. Yet, now no longer acknowledged by the Tokyo Cardinal, which is where Sr Agnes was sent?! WOW Certainly modernist bishops and cardinals don't want Our Lady's warnings known. That would throw so much of N.O. on it's head. Well, a lot of that is coming whether we like it or not. I have a strong sense this will all be starkly revealed with the Warning. Then all will break loose as well as those of us... coming on board, more familiar to greater conservative Church teaching. So many of us will wake up to and shift our thinking. Others will have it validated.
On any apparitions, my sarcasm alert is on 95%. That was borne out from my visit to Fatima few years as i began to question the validity of that apparitions. Had to do that homework in order to test it as per scripture. I don't believe it at all. I have no beef with others who believe it. WE all have to test it ourselves to see if its heavenly design or not, not the bishops or popes but only from the scripture. Its a demonic apparition in my view. Devil can appear as our lady and fool us. Few facts that you would have to bear in mind: 1. One of the seer was an atheist until his death. 2.Sr Lucia wrote the secrets in 1941 after the fact that World war 2 happened in 1939 not before. 3. No documented healings in Fatima as there is documented healings in Lourdes and Knock availabe for inspection. I believe knock cos i felt strong spiritual atmosphere in the old chucrh (not new) and was healed there. 4. I didnt feel anything in and around Fatima except for new Basilica church, where st peters bones are buried under that church. It was strange when i felt in that church but not at the site of apparition. 5. Our lady is accurate and precise up to a point re her words nothing bland like in Medj. She failed to predict that seers would be kidnapped and missed the 13th Day of apparition. Did she warn them? No, All she said was come here on every 13th month. Did she predict that the seers miss the 13th day ? NO. 6. Russia didnt' exist during the apparitions and name changed into Russia after bolksevik revolution on 2nd or 3rd week of October. Russia was mentioned in the apparitions but russia in name didn't exist that time. 7. Lucy story changed from Fatima 1 to Fatima 2 which led Fr Edourd Dhanis (Theologian from Belgium) as he published his paper on changing stories of Late Sr Lucia. That said, He was promoted a lot upwards from the popes and the Vatican itself. Think Popes started to distance them selves by not following it up as regards to OL's request for consecration of Russia. 8. Fatima created divisions re third secret and discord among fatimaists. 9. Pope who disobeyed her request and became a saint... very odd and strange it doesn't compute. BUT i believe Akita story as that nun Sr Agnes who was credible and she was deaf that time. Her hearing was restored and cured, Bishop was doubting her until sister Agnes spoke to him on the phone. Also i think Sister agnes at that time never heard of Fatima as well. That spoke volumes just like St Bernadette of Lourdes who never heard the name and title of Immaculate conception except for her older sister.
Not surprising to me. I see this happening with aoorived and alleged prophecies. The supernatural is being rejected and it is not only from outside the church, but sadly from those within. In the early 80"s I was in Opus Dei and our leader was a renowned optomologist at the Univeristy of Iowa. He was headed to Tokyo to give a conference. I suggested he go to Akita and told him the story. He did indeed take the long railroad trip to Akita from Tokyo. He visited with the visionary Sister Agnes and the place promoted the messages then. He brought me back a large picture of the crying statue and confirmation of what sister said to him. Sad this is happening, but just one more sign how close we are when the prophets are being rejected, just as Noah and others had been.
And St. Pope John Paul was saved from a bullet that stopped fractions of an inch before his heart.He had this bullet put in the crown of our Lady of Fatima for saving his life. Like i said no body dont have to believe it or not as i have no beef with people who believe it. It's just my experience in Fatima and i did my homework on Fatima before and after Fatima visit. My views changed after that.
I would say these were pretty important apparitions. Does look like they are trying to play them down.

Are you thinking of the USSR which came into existence after the success of the revolution and included countries other than Russia such as e.g. The Ukraine? Really, Holy Mother Russia existed for centuries before communists changed it the USSR. Really, where are you getting your information from? Lucia was a Carmelite Nun till her death and the two other little shepherds were devout Catholics till their deaths, dying not long after the apparitions. It doesn't matter if you don't believe, but please don't promote such lies on a Catholic forum.
I have heard Protestants make this claim; since they want an easy out, blaming it on the devil fits the bill. But I think you fail to take into account an aspect of the Fatima miracle that is well attested to and which the devil wouldn't think of doing in a thousand years and which he wouldn't be able to accomplish in the first place! An optical illusion? Yes, it's flashy and it would feed into the devil's pride. But remember that it had been raining steadily for 3 days up to and on the day of the miracle. The vast majority of the multitude had journeyed on foot and were in various degrees of being rain-soaked. Yet, it has been recorded that at the end of the 15 minute spectacle, everyone's clothes had dried. Not too much and not too little! Only the love of God and the love of Our Lady would think of such a kindness or be able to bring it about. This undeniable, tender gesture is the key to my fervent belief. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
I'm not certain exactly what Michael Matt is referring to in his video when he states that the messages voiced concern in regard to Vatican II or something to that effect. I am not referring to his comment about Sister Agnes Sasagawa's stigmata which is a little strange too imo. In any case, I am posting the messages here. It is interesting that the seer was given an explanation for the statue crying 101 times. I included this explanation also. I should have inserted Seer's father - my apologies as i left this out. It was Ti Marto father of two seers -Jacinta and Francisciso as he was an atheist until death. That info came from Fr Marchi's book.
One more thing that should convince all who have an open mind about the authenticity of Fatima, is the fact that it is the only miracle in history to be foretold 3 months in advance of taking place on a particular day, time and place. That is why there was over 70,000 witnesses that came to see the miracle foretold by the children through our Lady of Fatima. I anticipate more than this will come to see the miracle in Garabandal when Conchita gives the date for that to take place sometime after the warning. But, most will not accept the miracle as the Man of Sin will convince most through, as Archbishop Sheen said, "counterfeit miracles" he will perform, that what they saw was not a true miracle.

Fatima is real! There were actually more than 70,000 witnesses. Total of approximately 100,000 with surrounding villages that witnessed it from miles around. There is far too much evidence to deny it. Even the Masonic newspaper had to acknowledge it in their own newspaper. It’s not even a question. It happened and it was real....and it was not the devil. Our Lady appeared!
