Wonderful Garabandal is the hope for a world in crisis because we await direct Divine Intervention in the darkness of sin and rejection of God. The Father wishes to call his prodigal children back to his loving embrace. Garabandal is the bridge between Fatima & Medjugorje - After the miracle of the Sun our Lady had disappeared into the immense distance of the firmament, we beheld St. Joseph with the Child Jesus and Our Lady robed in white with a blue mantle, beside the sun. St. Joseph and the Child Jesus seemed to bless the world, for they traced the Sign of the Cross with their hands. When, a little later, this apparition disappeared, I saw Our Lord and Our lady; it seemed to me to that it was Our Lady of Sorrows (Dolors). Our Lord appeared to bless the world in the same manner as St. Joseph had done. This apparition also vanished, and I saw Our Lady once more, this time resembling Our Lady of Carmel. [Only Lucia would see the later, presaging her entrance into Carmel some years later.] St Joseph & the child Jesus blessed the world - what a beautiful image. God wants to bless us with His gifts!
I came upon this forum for the first time a week or so ago. I believe it was while I was going through the results of a Google search on Mari Cruz, trying to find out what she now says happened to her. No clear answer to that question, but I consider myself fortunate to have found this forum. In the last month or so I have read (on-line) the book "She Went in Haste to the Mountain" In the book is noted the interview by Fr Laffineur which has Conchita answering: "After Paul IV there remain only two Popes. Following that the 'end of times', which is not the same as 'the end of the world' " How do those of you who believe in Garabandal explain this?
Jerry that is a very good question. What do you think? The questions we have to ask ourselves are: Do I believe in the messages Our lady gave at Garabandal? Do I believe that maybe Conchita could have got it wrong? But if she got this wrong, then what else did she get wrong? So that brings us back to do I believe in the messages? If I dont believe then I must forget about them and pray for the children. If I do believe then I cant pick and choose to believe in one and not the other! I also cannot twist what Our Lady said into my own thinking and what I want to believe. I either believe or I do not! I can only believe in all or none??? WE ALL HAVE FREEWILL the greatest GIFT OF LOVE given to each one of us by the ETERNAL FATHER the GREAT I AM. So Jerry you must feel within your heart and answer the question for yourself, as we all must in free will. I cannot force you to believe, what I believe. Free will God Bless

You cannot force me to believe what you believe but you may be able to persuade me. Yes I believe the messages Our Lady gave. Yes I believe that Conchita could have got it wrong. Indeed your next question is the 'frightening' one. If she got this wrong what else did she get wrong. So it could be so bad that I am wrong to believe that Our Lady gave those messages to Conchita. Wait a minute: didn't I say I believe the messages Our Lady gave. Go round again and I give the same answers. And I have the same problem. And you may argue that 'no; you don't really believe them' and you could be right. But I would still want to state as my answer to the question, Yes I believe the messages Our Lady gave.
I do not simply believe Mary Queen of Heaven and Earth spoke to the children of Garabandal, I Know and Believe with all my heart and soul she did and I believe All Her Messages. We are in dark times and Our Lady has warned us but we have free will to believe whatever we want to. I must never force anyone to believe as Jesus and Mary did not force me. God Bless
I believe in Garabandal with my whole heart also. The messages our Lady gave for the World, were precise as she intended. All of the thousands of apparitions and everything said and shown to 11 and 12 year old girls, could and maybe DID get mixed up somewhat, I would think especially since they were constantly being asked, and tested, and interrogated about it! I believe that they were as truthful as possible, and I believe what they themselves believe about what was said. The Church itself is holding it's vertict until the final promises are completed, as until it happens, is a mystery to us. We would be wise to follow the Church, and the Saints and holy people and priests who were there as witnesses, and they believed also.
Garabandal is a true private revelation from Heaven. Padre Pio believed in it also. The memory of the seers has deteriorated and this has been allowed by heaven. They must live by faith like the rest of us. They are saints for they must live in a purgatory here on earth. Having seen our Lady and received messages and now to remember very little because out Lady actually told the girls that there would come a time when they would doubt. The girls could not believe this when they were young as it was clear to them at the time that they were seeing our Lady. But this prophecy has come true. The reason is that our Lady said at the time that their faith would be tested like that of the Church. The apostles doubted too until the resurrection. There is a mystery in Garabandal - as if a shroud has been put over it for the world cannot hear the message of Garabandal as it is deaf to heaven. Even the Church has failed to respond to the messages of Garabandal. But once the Warning comes the shroud will be lifted and Garabandal wil become a centre of authentic Catholic pilgrimage. Millions will go to see the permanent visible sign. And the seers of Garabandal - they are 'hidden saints' and mystics.
I also have problems and doubts about Garabandal. I have studied this apparition for years and I am yet not sure about what was going on there. There are some obscure points that I do not understand. For instance: it is normal that in an apparition the seers adopt such weird postures reminding that of some people possessed? I guess we will find out soon. BXVI (the last Pope) and Joey Lomangino are 85 and 84 years old. The latest should recover vision the day of the miracle. If nothing happens during the life time of these persons I will tend to think that we are dealing with false apparitions. I think the Church is waiting for the announced events to take place before making an official pronouncement.
I am putting this on more than one Garabandal related thread because I think that it is very important that this is widely read. St. John Vianney prophesied the Warning and the situations that will give rise to it. I know that many who view this site believe or hope that the Warning is imminent. It is not and there is an ABUNDANCE of proof that this is so. The following prophecy was given by no less than Saint John Vianney and is just one example of very many similar prophecies. Not one part of it is yet fulfilled and it cannot occur AFTER the Warning because that event will change humanity for the better so the prophesied events must occur BEFORE it. Here is the prophecy: “The enemy will allow the burning of Paris and they will rejoice at it but they will be beaten. They will be driven entirely from France. Our enemies will return and destroy everything in their path…..but they will be beaten again and retire to their country but very few will reach it. “After this defeat, the Communists of Paris will arise and spread themselves throughout all France and will be greatly multiplied. ….These wicked people will become masters in most of the country. They will imprison and massacre many. They will attempt to kill all the priests and religious but this will not last long. People will believe that all is lost but the good God will save all. IT WILL BE LIKE A SIGN OF THE LAST JUDGEMENT and the good shall triumph. (He is clearly describing the Warning). This is only one of dozens of similar prophecies from saints, blesseds and venerables about wars and civil wars in Europe ending in an intervention from God and a period of peace. DON’T IGNORE THE PROPHECIES OF SAINTS - DO NOT LOOK FOR THE WARNING UNTIL THE WARS ARE AT THEIR HEIGHT, IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN UNTIL THEN.
With the talk about the warning being possibly soon. (I wonder how many years this has been said). Will it be this year???? Well the world has to get alot worse very quickly. There will need to be a communist invasion. The weeks are moving on. Yes it still could happen this year. The world can change in a blink of the eye. But I was thinking. If the miracle doesn't happen next year, does this mean the next chance of it won't be until 2015? i feel as if I read somewhere, that with all the information out there, that it can't be on the even year eg 2012, 2014, 2016. Now people seem to come up with all sorts of theories. Whether they are true or not, I don't know. But has anyone else heard this? Or is it just another bit of hearsay? If anyone says this is true. Can you please explain why?
While listening to some youtube videos on the Fatima and Garabandal subject I came across some of these quotes that I felt were imperative to know to put the whole puzzle piece together regarding why the Third Secret has not been completely told and when the warning would be most likely spoken about at Garabandal. Cardianl Odea, speaking to the Italian journalists in 1990 tells us what the secret is. “The 3rd Secret has nothing to do with Gorbachv. The Blessed Virgin was alerting us to the apostasy in the Church.” This brings us to the quote from Cardinal Chaffee, who was the Papal Theologian for 40 years to five Popes. Pope Pius XII, John XXIII, Paul VI, John Paul I, John Paul II. He states in a letter to Professor Bumgardner, “There is only one ‘great apostasy’ in scripture. That is the great apostasy that will occur right before the coming of the anti-Christ.” So, here you have a trained prominent theologian, and this is what he says about the third secret. “In the 3rd secret it is foretold among other things, that the great apostasy in the Church will begin at the top.” That is what is in the secret that has not been revealed and that is why it has not been released. The truth is more important than scandal In his interview on the Art Bell radio program to 180 million listeners in 1998, Father Malachi Martin said he had read the secret himself but was sworn to secrecy. He said, “I will not tell it, but if you ask me a question, I have to tell the truth.” He explains in the next five minutes what heresy, schism and apostasy is. Why would he spend that time defining apostasy? After questions it comes to light that the secret contains five major themes. 1. Chastisement. 2. Reckoning-no one on earth will be exempt from the experience, but their interpretations will differ. 3. They will reject it. Those whose hearts are hardened like scientists etc. 4. It involves the entire world system. (ie; the whole world, the entire solar system. 5. It is not 100 years away, it is not 50 years away, it is not 20 years away… (meaning that 1998 plus lets say 19 years) is 2017. If the antichrist reigns the last three and a half years-as scripture states; and it is now 2012, the anti Christ will reign from 2014 to 2018. The great apostasy (which is unfolding now) will have to happen and the persecution will have to come before the illumination of conscience or warning (according to Garabandal also). He goes on to state that “Yes, these five events sounds like they have been reading the text of the 3rd Secret. When it finally is revealed people will fill the Churches, the confessional will be filled day and night and people will be beating their breasts.” “The cause is the disobedience of the Catholic faithful and the Catholic priests for not preaching the truth. The Faithful using contraception and not obeying the Pope and the tragedy of abortion is proof of this unfolding apostasy.” The priests have re-defined the primary purpose of marriage and the holy family has crumbled. The rest of the world will follow.” In 1992 Fr. Kramer in Rome met up with the Carmelite sisters who took care of Sister Lucia. They told him that the 3rd secret in its entirety will be revealed at the start of a major war. The secret being an announcement of apostasy is not new. When Pope John XXIII read it he fainted. He was heard saying, “Please God, don’t let it be me who betrays the Church!” This is a telling affirmation that the apostasy will start at the top as the saints and mystics of old have prophesied.

The warning is definately before the antiChrist reign. (I think ) Definately, I think. Don't you just love my positive answer. But I am under the understanding warning first. Funny. I don't like talking about there being a 'pope' that betrays the church. Maybe because what if this is wrong. And we look at a good pope as being evil, that would be awful.
