Wait for God to speak to you, I'd say. In 2016, I too had a disturbing dream of a coming flood. Everyone I knew in my town was scrambling for buses to leave this place. But a voice told me to go home and wait. My dream is different from Lumena's, but when the general reaction was to flee, God told me to stay put.
Sounds angel-like to me. Not a lot of experience in this but my sister had an encounter with the guardian angel of one of her children and it was just like that. Short and to the point.
Yes I think this is true. If you look at the Arcangel Gabriel at the Annunciation he didn't hang about. He put the question, would she or wouldn't she? Mary said yes and that was it. Although it was very,very beautiful. But neither of them hung about to discuss the weather. What happened with your nephew or nieces Guardian angel..I am all curious? .
I think Israel represents all Christians. Jerusalem or Judah represents the Catholic Church. There was only one church until the Protestant reformation. In the Old Testament Israel was 1 whole until they wanted kings then Israel split up. Jerusalem didn’t leave them they left Jerusalem. The Catholic Church didn’t leave them they left the Catholic Church. Some great miracle will happen to bring all Nations (people) to bend at the name of Jesus. Catholic Study Bible Revelation 11:1-2 1 * Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told: "Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, 2 but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample over the holy city for forty-two months. Those who do not worship God in His Temple, the second Temple of God the Catholic Church, will be the next Woe. Thoughts?
It was my niece. It's a bit of a story so here we go. When my niece was2 years old and my nephew just a few months old my sister was taking them for a walk. My niece was on her tricycle and my sister was pushing the buggy/pram. They reached a place on the sidewalk where there was a steep decline. My niece lost control of the tricycle and started speeding down the little hill. There was bump in the sidewalk at the bottom and when the tricycle hit that it might have thrown her off. My sister was aghast. Had no time to think. She interiorly said God help us! All of a sudden this young person came across the street at a leisurely pace (this seemed strange) but arrived at the exact moment needed to stop the tricycle and comfort my niece. At this point my sister arrived and said thankyou!!!" She said this person was young but hard to say if boy or girl. Bright shining blue eyes, black curls and rosy cheeks and a light brown jumpsuit. She said "God must have sent you." This person smiled a glorious smile and said "maybe He did." She bent down to pick up my niece and he/she was gone. Just like that. The street was deserted. No sign of anyone walking away. She asked around the neighborhood. No such person! So we concluded it was her Guardian Angel.
What a beautiful story! There are so many like this online. I suspect many many children would not make it to adulthood without the angels stepping in to save them. When I look back at some of the dangers I placed myself in as a child I shudder. The most unusual story of an Angel Guardian I ever read comes from Monsignor Hugh Benson. Fr Hugh you may recall is the author of Pope Francis's favourite book which concerns the anti Christ.
Anyway he wrote other books including this one. Which might still be in print I don't know the copy I read was very,very old indeed.
I have all these books Padraig. They are all WONDERFUL. He may be my favorite author at this point in my life. I just reread The Necromancers. Wow! So timely for this new dark age. If you havent read it then do read it.
Well, anyway Monsignor Benson (he was a convert and the son of an Archbishop of Canterbury) tells all these mysterious and wonderful stories in this book. I must buy it and read it again if I can find it. But from what I know of Monsignor Benson..the strong impression I get is that they were not just stories but actually happened..he actually saw these thing , though he just puts them forward as stories. So one day he was walking along the road when he saw this child by the side of the road. Then he saw the child's Guardian Angel beside it gently pushing the child in front of an oncoming carriage with a gentle smile and the child of course was killed! The father suggested ti was the child's time to die and the angel was placed to accomplish this. I repeated this story to a very,very saintly hermit monk and he was totally outraged! Anyway it is so strange a story I retell it anyway for what it's worth. It's so bizarre it caught my attention.
Yes he is quite amazing. Do you recall the story he tells about the devil? This is about his strangest, but I always thought it was true. It happened along the River Thames at Richmond where the very, very, rich lived (this was back in Victorian time) he was at a garden party for very wealthy Catholic lady he knew. Her husband came up to Fr Hugh and asked him if he believed in the devil? The Father , of course replied that he did. The gentleman replied that he did too, that he knew this because he had sold his soul to him for a good life. That the devil had lived up to his end of the bargain and so of course he was going to live him to his and that he knew he was going to hell! Fr Hugh was going to contradict him and say that if he repented he might still be saved. But Hugh goes on to say the words froze on his lips, when he looked into the eyes of the man he knew with a very deep certainty he was indeed going to hell!! Scarey stuff.!!
Wow. Just. Wow. Reminds me of Malachi Martin relating a similar experience with a very prominent and successful man that was perfectly possessed. Meaning he had invited the devil in. Martin said they spoke of it in an oblique way but Martin said "you have to walk away. There is nothing you can do for them. They have put themselves beyond the mercy of God. Utterly chills the soul." ( I am paraphrasing--from memory-- but pretty much what he said)
Yes that is it; Perfect Possession, Malachi Martin sure got that one right. I describe them as , 'Black Saints', some folks give themselves totally to Satan as the real saints give themselves totally to God. But these poor, poor , people were meant often to be real saints if they had taken the good path. Usually evil destroys the folks who practice this. But these are very ,very strong souls and can handle the evil within. The evil does not appear to consume them. Mao Tse Tung and Joe Stalin were good examples. I have my doubts about Nanci Pelosi, she is starting to look more than a little frayed round the edges. But she is someone I think of along these lines. So I think of them as , 'Black Saints' Frank Sinatra was another one I suspect.
I think God's timing is perfect. The goal is to save the child's soul. Had it lived it might have not been so blessed. In our world we reject this because it sounds so cruel. But it is not. It is the greatest blessing. The world is NOT our home.
Hilary looks frayed round the edges as well sometimes. I suspect the evil within consuming them. Also ..well.. if you look at recent pictures of Nanci and Hillary, they look well...look at them..I just see evil or something really , really strange indeed. I just think that they look..well..weird..
Well Frank, Our Lady of Akita did say that God is preparing a great chastisement in which the living will envy the dead. So I ask myself, should I try to survive, by escaping NZ, or remain and be prepared to die and go to Heaven? The alternative would be to live on, but in a graveyard of dead bodies. Only the Lord knows the plans He has for us and our days are numbered in His book. But I do remember there was a lady who used to post here on this forum, "Mother Superior." She lived in Montana, USA, because the Lord had clearly told her to get away from the coasts of America - so she and her family had moved to Montana. She firmly believed the coast lands of USA would be inundated, both coasts. The thing that I most hate is the idea of dying in cold ocean water. I have seen a movie called "The Impossible." It is a dramatisation of the Asian Tsunami, and I have studied it. It is a MUST watch, in my opinion.Closely based on a true story.
