CHRISTIANITY BURNS Posted on April 15, 2019 by Mark Mark Mallett's latest: CHRISTIANITY BURNS Posted on April 15, 2019 by Mark Cathedral of Notre Dame… 200 years to build… 2 hours to fall Notre Dame burns, April 15th, 2019 Because I love you, I want to show you what I am doing in the world today. I want to prepare you for what is to come. Days of darkness are coming on the world, days of tribulation… Buildings that are now standing will not be standing. Supports that are there for my people now will not be there. I want you to be prepared, my people, to know only me and to cleave to me and to have me in a way deeper than ever before… —Prophecy given in Rome on Pentecost Monday of May, 1975, St. Peter’s Square, Rome, Italy spoken by Dr. Ralph Martin A West that denies its faith, its history, its roots, and its identity is destined for contempt, for death, and disappearance. —Cardinal Sarah, ten days before the fire; Catholic Herald, April 5th, 2019 It is the loss of the symbol of Christianity in Europe. —CBSN news commentator during the fire, April 15th, 2019 Western society is a society in which God is absent in the public sphere and has nothing left to offer it. And that is why it is a society in which the measure of humanity is increasingly lost. —EMERITUS POPE BENEDICT XVI, April 10th, 2019, Catholic News Agency God will take away our churches if that’s what’s necessary in order to purify His Bride and restore His Church. Christianity isn’t about our buildings, but our witness to Jesus. —Mark Mallett, spontaneous remark to a teacher’s retreat on April 12th, 2019 France will be the starting point for the world-wide chastisements, as France was Catholic before other nations and was granted more graces than other countries. It (France) has been given the mission to defend the Church and the True Faith through times of persecution and heresy. Because of its failures and its rejection of its heaven-blessed monarchy, it would be struck first, but then the punishments would spread throughout the world. —from E.A. A dear friend just texted this to me: You just can’t help but see in this a message from God....almost the wrath of God. Because of the timing. You come and exclaim over the church building but you don’t stay for Mass. You exclaim over the artwork but not Jesus in the Eucharist. I gave you My Son to save you from hell and this what you do??? Plus it was great faith that built that edifice but now??
Who is to say that one or more of the construction workers who had ill intentions toward the Church didn't initiate it? The treachery of men's hearts runs deep. It is a true sign from God on the death of the West.
Of some sort. I had no idea what it meant but it reminded me of Revelation. I went outside under the stars and prayed to the Father for us all and what is to come.
Here's a video about the restoration work. The video was uploaded to Youtube last year. The Church refused to charge tourists an entry fee for visiting the Cathedral. The restoration project was estimated to cost 60 million euro, of which the French Government would pay 40 million and the Church was expected to come up with the other 20 million. Given that they had experts overseeing the work, it would be surprising if they didn't have necessary fire safety measures in place.
In a way that can only be viewed in a spiritual sense, maybe this will open the eyes of a spiritually dying world? Maybe it’s a grace? Either way, it takes your breath....
Parisians were seen praying and singing Ava Maria as they watched Notre Dame burn. Watch: https://twitter.com/JMBruh/status/1...tal-destruction-two-thirds-of-roof-destroyed/ And is there another message in this news....is this what will be left of the Church; its main structure/foundation.....its Truth in the "solid ones"?: NEW: Main Structure of Notre Dame Saved From Total Destruction – Two-Thirds of Roof Destroyed https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...tal-destruction-two-thirds-of-roof-destroyed/
If it was arson I would bet that it is as you say, a construction worker who intentionally started the fire as part of or during their work. But, this is just conjecture. We will find out more soon. All the construction workers I ever worked with are a boisterous lot, if there is reasonable suspicion about the cause it will come forward.
] Just received this text as well: Look this up - Marie Julie Jahenny- stigmatist from Breton France - Jesus said to her - “When you see Paris burning you will come to know that God’s justice for the church and the world has arrived’
There's no doubt that having lasting 12 centuries, thorugh terrible wars, to go like this just now, it is most certainly a terriible Sign from heaven.
It was very much a tourist attraction. Paris is the No. 1 tourist destination city in Europe. I don't think it got as many visitors as the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower but Notre Dame would have been way up near the top of the list. Quite a few of Europe's grand cathedrals are more like museums than places of worship. Even in the Vatican Masses and Eucharistic Adoration are in side chapels - rather like alcoves with ropes to prevent tourists just wandering in. The Adoration chapel has security personnel as well as a rope. When I was there the basilica was thronged with noisy tourists. Lots of cameras and selfie sticks. That's not a recent development in the Vatican. On my first visit there over 40 years ago I saw a priest work his way through the crowd. He was either going to or coming from saying Mass because he was wearing his vestments and carrying either a chalice or ciborium - I can't recall which other than that it was gold or gold plated. The crowds are much bigger now, but the museum atmosphere is nothing new. Sad.

French Media Confirms There Were NO CONSTRUCTION WORKERS at Notre Dame Cathedral at Time of Fire Tweet: #Breaking: Just in - French Media confirms there were no construction workers at the time of the fire at the cathédrale Notre-Dame de #Paris. #NotreDame #France. Surest if this pains us, how must heaven be in revolt. And not just France....it’s the world over. Jesus showed us what He thought of His Fathers house being used by the money changers...! Very few times did the gospel depict the wrath and anger of Jesus....but He showed us then how deeply He was offended. What don’t we get?
Does anyone know if the stained glass was removed during WW2, or were the windows simply boarded over?
Oh I think they were destroyed during the Second World War and during the French Revolution too. https://theculturetrip.com/europe/france/articles/frances-most-beautiful-stained-glass-windows/
One of the most important in the world, along with the one at Saint-Sulpice that was recently targeted.
