When people are crying out for death after all that has happened, I doubt very much that anyone will be interested in gold or silver.. Be careful, can all get caught up on a wave of fear... This would not be God's doing, and would be the downfall of this website.

    Why Rory?
This sounds like you are reading Maria Divine Mercy the second coming.

Hi No I don't read Maria Devine mercy. I must be more trustful.

  5. If you decide to invest your money into something, put it into food, or items that can be bartered. Alcohol can be used to preserve things. Also can be used in surgery etc. People are going to need to feed their families. Ammo is something that will go first during a security situation. Tobacco is good to trade, altho many do not smoke anymore. Fuel or even seeds. I know these things can help you also and God, in his infinite mercy will probably send people to you to help. We are all being called to not panic, be prayerful, and be charitable and merciful.

So glad. I remember her telling people to buy gold and silver.
When I was reading her messages, I became a little panicy.
3 years ago she said to stock up on food and water. I wonder how much food has had to been thrown out now?o_O

    RoryRory,

The decision to buy gold or silver is one of many choices in answering the question, "Where can I put my money so as to obtain a decent return that outpaces inflation. Metals should never be bought with a the idea of getting rich quick or as a source of security (Our Lady's Immaculate Heart is our refuge). Gold and silver have always maintained a constant standard of value. The suit an ounce of gold bought in 1920 will buy at least as nice a suit today. However, since an ounce of silver is so much more affordable now, it would be easiest to invest in that, I believe. One more word of advice: the dollar and certain other currencies will be in serious trouble next year due to inflationary troubles, so the price of metals will rise. However, there will come a certain time when it will be advisable to shift out of metals, but for the time being I believe now would be a good time to buy. Check out APMEX on the web. They are a trustworthy company.

MS7's idea of items to barter with (I like toilet paper best! :)) will have it's day, I'm afraid, but I think at this point, metal is still a good choice.

Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!

I struggle with trusting God every day Rory, so don't be too hard on yourself. At least we are aware of it and working on it :)

Well, said Mario. I will add that gold/silver also acts as a hedge to protect value while other assets may lose value (cash, stocks, bonds, etc). So, buying a little gold/silver can be a good way to protect what you have. Think of it as moving value from one asset into another.

For quite a while, I believe the Holy Spirit has been directing me to do some of this in order to protect my family.

Thomas and Mario! You do know that Christians are supposed to share. ;)

So... I will share my toilet paper with you and you two can share your gold with me. :D

    Sorry, lol, couldn't resist!

I have been wondering with everyone storing up things.

Are you going to keep them for yourselves?
    or
Are you going to share them with your neighbours?

Am laughing here. I am lucky if the toilet paper lasts a week in my house! The more I buy the faster it seems to disappear.. o_O

The moral to that story is then.
When things get tough, and there is nothing to eat. Hide the toilet paper because there will be theifs that will steal it.:ROFLMAO:
