While this has been the key, Luisa opened up the door for the ultimate gift of Living in the Divine Will. More will understand this after the Warning, but it is to everyone's benefit to have accepted this gift now, before the warning and tribulation. As one message I received yesterday from a friend said, "our physical and spiritual protection is no longer guaranteed without living in the divine will".
Take this Luisa crap somewhere else Fatima. Don’t you dare talk down my Mother. @padraig this is our Lady’s forum. This Luisa stuff is going too far. It’s a showing it’s real ugly face here.
Frodo, when you live 65 years on the Eucharist alone as Luisa did and your spiritual director is a canonized saint, come back and talk to me.
Let us agree or disagree , but let us agree or disagree with love. Love who is God is not served by lack God, nor is His is Son who is the Truth. Nor is the Spirit who is Flaming Love.
From a secular but conservative site....the war of the spiritual forces is being understood by many: Ted Malloch: Beware of the Mark of the Beast, Beware of the “Multi” Guest post by Ted Malloch author of Davos, Aspen and Yale In the final, revelatory book of the Bible, we are told to beware the “mark of the beast”, i.e., the devil or Satan himself. The number 666 notes it. Read: “And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads.2And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority.” Revelation 13:1–2 What John, writing on the island of Patmos sees, are the beasts already foretold in the Old Testament Book of Daniel, representing a great empire — Rome – an uncivil, inhumane and debauched place not supportive of its citizenry, who turn their backs on God and worship the devil. It is depicted as akin to a ferocious and devastating beast from the sea that eats all in its path. Today, we have a new, modern ‘mark’ to beware: it is anything and everything with the prefix — “Multi.” Let me explain. Multi is the shortened form of the word multiple but it often spells pure evil and the opposite of the good or godly. Here are five vivid examples to illustrate the point. Multiculturalism Multicultural constitutes several cultural or ethnic groups within a given society. As a political philosophy it leads to identity politics and the politics of recognition and its twin, affirmative action. It abandons the unity of a polity and dissembles its subgroups to the end of internal conflict. It is presently leading to the death of Europe. Multinationals Including several countries or nationalities, particularly MNCs, multinational corporations, in worldwide enterprises that shed responsibility and taxation in any one or home country by seeking to be transnational, above the law or liability. Multilateralism In International Relations, multilateral refers to alliances and détente among many countries pursuing a common goal or set of policies. This is in contrast to bilateral, relations between two sovereign countries. It is anti-sovereign in orientation and concludes in a movement to one world government and/or surpanationalism. Multifunctional This describes a system that does several things or has many different uses, designs, teams, devices, or products. Multifunctionalism has led to the diminution of responsibility, complexity of life and in social thought to the bureaucratization of policy in an administrative state. Multireligious Following the dictates and dogmas of many religions or none, multireligious tends to the eradication of religion altogether or a coalescing around some common global denominators such as humanism or ethics. In this secular era of post-Christianity it is unpopular to speak of the devil or anything even remotely aligned with the forces of spiritual darkness. But it is absolutely necessary. Spiritual darkness is the state of a person or a culture living apart from God. We used to refer to it as apostasy, the willful turning away from the creator, in rebellion. The prophetic Old Testament book of Isaiah, in prophesying of the Messiah, spoke of a deep spiritual darkness that enveloped the people: “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned” (Isaiah 9:2). This passage reappears in the New Testament, (in Matthew 4:16) to announce that those who have come to know the God of Israel through His Son Jesus Christ are the ones who have been delivered from spiritual darkness and now walk in the light of God’s life. We need to beware the Multi and decry all that bears its’ mark. The President realizes this and that is why he has the nearly total support of the entire devout Christian and Evangelical community, in America and around the world. It is why Jewish faithful are turning to him. It would behoove all people to recognize spiritual darkness, in its varied and myriad forms. Beware! https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...of-the-mark-of-the-beast-beware-of-the-multi/ The AC, although not recognized on the scene, personally, yet, (coming after the Warning) is still manipulating the forces all around us.....why we are given the great devotion now of The Flame of Love that has the purpose of blinding Satan and praying for priests...for when this spiritual force at the top is blinded then the minions/followers become confused and why we witness so much panic and horrible acts all around us I think.
The flip side to this evil of multi-ism is nationalism and worship of the state. We must guard against and not allow it to rise up in the mob as we see some like the guy in NZ trying to intentionally bring forth it's forces. The intent is to divide us, to remove us from the unity of the body of Christ, plain and simple. We can not let that happen. We must speak the truth about it no matter the consequence.
He literally just said that the Our Lady’s help used to be the key in the past, but Luisa has now given us the ultimate gift... my disdain for Luisa’s teachings as presented here is well documented, but this is about My Lady. What an incredibly unCatholic thing to say. Christ is the ultimate gift, He came through Our Lady. The Queen of Heaven. Our Lady is our refuge and our hope in these times, not any other woman. What a slap in the face to our Mother. How is it that no one else is offended by that in Our Lady’s forum? What happened to defending Our Lady’s honor? With all due respect, where is the love for her in this case? We need an authentic love here, we need more St. Nicholas in the church today. You know, I love St. John Paul II very much. What a holy person who guided the Church in such a holy way. For all the good that he did though, look where the church is now due to his inaction in stopping Kasper, Marx, etc. He thought we could love them back to orthodoxy. Turns out it may have been the biggest mistake that we now have to live through. We don’t play nice with heretics or heresies. Love demands an appropriate response. My post did show love.
Spare me the approval of your version of Luisa by association argument. My problem is not with her holiness as a person, but the twisting doctrine of some of her followers. Straw man away if you so desire. When you want to present an argument based on traditional doctrinal principles come back and talk to me.
Please be specific because from what you insist upon here demonstrates a lack of even the basic knowledge of these teachings that the Church herself has permitted, during the period of full study, and is permitting to be presented to the public. You can't be holier than the Church. The Mother of God lived perfectly in the Divine Will and her Fiat established that as well as did the intentional Immaculate Conception. The fact that the Father's will desired His creation to learn about the always intended fulfillment of the Our Father in the coming Era of the Divine Will, that fulfillment of His being on "earth as in heaven" through those fused to His Will, living in it, necessitated, from the beginning another one chosen to teach just what this included. She's the one making it known. This is so totally new, in this time, prior to this "recreation" of humanity and "renewal" of the face of the earth just for this purpose...the Father wishing to begin everything again, as better than before, has to be fully understood by His children who desire this new knowledge without which no one could enter and claim this renewed creation because all past attachments must be left behind. Simply, Luisa was chosen to be the one to accept this mission to convey, from God Himself, this new holiness so that more will desire to receive it and make the Father's Will a reality. That takes nothing away from the Mother. She has her established place fully within the Divine Will where she also desires greatly this fulfillment of the Divine Will for all of her children that comes about through this chosen "little daughter" called just for this difficult and trying mission to put forth God's instructions through her. The teachings must be "digested" since all have an individual free will to give to this "fusion" of wills, as a prerequisite. If you're not even willing to permit yourself to look into what is permitted for the faithful to know about this then your disturbing comments about it seem to come more out of some personal bias and unnecessary misunderstandings that you project upon those with a more complete understanding. This future Eucharistic age of the Divine Will is already touched upon within the Diary of St. Faustina as she is called out by Christ with this new concept....in His desire for her to be His "living host". Now there's lots of explanations for this desire of God to fully live within His creation already written and accepted, but these concepts that have been used in Church history re: creation are now being fully explained/taught through the chosen one to give what she received from God about all this in the moment chosen by the Father as the world approaches this New Era. So thank God for His selection of this little daughter of His, so little since only such a little one could express in its purity this teaching as always intended. How quickly it comes to pass depends upon the openness of those intended to learn and receive it as well as those meant to teach it. So far the crumbs have been there and many have noticed them and so were given more understanding according to their openness to be taught. Truly amazing and much further understanding of the greatness of the Father God and Creator. Without this teaching all intended would be left with all the attachments to this finite world only, which is disappearing each day until its complete end comes to pass. God's Kingdom Come is infinite. If it's too difficult to switch a mindset as the Church has often been called to do....just receiving the truth of the Sun being the center causing a whole new concept with all that that adjustment incurred.....then trust that the willing will be given the necessary help or grace to more fully realize what is intended here by God, through His Son, and coming to pass through the Holy Spirit. God is so good to always teach us rather than just "dump" on us....because we ARE made in His image and likeness. We have to offer to participate in His plan by learning what He knows is something new, given, as ever before, in its proper time for our sakes.
Jesus IS the ultimate Gift - He lives in those who desire Him and we live in Him - through the Immaculate Heart of Mary who’s Heart is united to His. Read St. Faustina’s Diary, Ven Conchita de Armida, Servant of God Archbishop Martinez, Saint Therese, and many others if you do not choose to read Luisa’s writings. They all say the same thing. And Jesus told Luisa, “There is no one like My Mother, nor will there ever be.”
No, I don’t agree with Luisa being the chosen one. Neither does Servant of God Father Hardon. Will you accuse him of being holier than the Church? http://www.transporter.com/Apologia/cuf_ltr.htm The Bishop asked for unauthorized translations to not be put forth. Exactly because of this nonsense. https://www.ewtn.com/expert/answers/Luisa_Piccarreta1112.htm EWTN documents that decision. Are you accusing them of being holier than the Church? https://www.ewtn.com/expert/answers/luisa_piccarreta.htm Catholic Culture says as much too, are they holier than the Church? https://www.catholicculture.org/culture/library/view.cfm?recnum=5981 What is “permitted by the faithful” is literally everything that hasn’t been officially condemned - which is entirely a different thing altogether than what is taught in conformity With the Church’s Tradition. Not a very strong argument to use.
Read st. Faustina’s diary. Love it. Read St. Therese, what a treasure. To insist that Luisa’s writings is the culmination of theirs is ludicrous. Many theologians and trusted orthodox places advise otherwise.
In reading all the replies, my only conclusion to this all is that no one knows when anything is going to happen. I think the best thing for all of us to is get our bags packed and be ready in our souls for anything. God bless.....
Fr. Hardon is your sole go to guy for where the Church currently stands on this?, while the study continues and the knowledge of what is available from study is permitted to go forth to the faithful, while his death occurred in 2000; um, I'd choose someone not only up to date but one considered an expert on the topic itself as has the Church. Perhaps then at this time Fr. Hardon would be more up to date on things and even perhaps instruct one of his fans not to continue being "holier than the Church" in the current moment! As far as EWTN is concerned, well, that explanation is a couple of years behind but accepting that nothing has changed it certainly doesn't argue against, again, what is permitted by the Church currently as stated..... just that all things be done in communion with the local Ordinaries (e.g. prayer groups, reading of the writings etc.), that unauthorized translations not be promoted, and that explanations inconsistant with the teaching of the Church not be promulgated. So, who is doing anything else??? Even YOU could do the same with such "prayer groups" w/o fearing you're being condemned or something! "Fear not"! You actually have a whole host of sources to begin with. Hopefully you'll take the opportunity yourself so your comments on the subject will at least be w/ some actual knowledge of what has been written....even if those can only lead to further study. Where do you get your expertise that claims the Church has any intention of condemning anything as a result of this current study? Do you have your own private premonitions? And why has the Church requested a further understanding to continue through one of its own approved to be available to the faithful, based on the writings of Luisa? Again, better not to go further than the Church. You wouldn't want to mislead the faithful just because of your own limited understanding. For unauthorized translations not to go forth is nothing singled out for this particular revelation. It's pretty standard and is what went forth for Faustina, and worse, prior to the Church taking a real honest look at the writings there as well as is current for this procedure. So don't spin the obvious desire for further clarification as if it's something of itself leading to any future condemnation....even if that would fulfill your own desires. But then perhaps referencing the past is the only choice you have left when you can't admit, for your purposes, what the Church is actually doing at the moment. What is permitted would not be permitted if they were still considered as misleading. Very simple. If you can't personally grasp the writings there ARE people willing to help. And if you fear getting too close to those, then you can get a very beginning of the basics by just reading some Saints on the subject. Luisa just continues connecting the dots from that point. You need a new tree to bark up....those old excuses have moved on to a further understanding and permission. Using current facts, as I do here as well as in my above comment on the topic, is NEVER a weak argument. Since you are forcing yourself to live in the past and attempting to make people believe that there is nothing more to be said IS the obvious "argument" lacking in its totality. But we are forced to use what we limit ourselves to....or not!
With all due respect ETA you are over your head a bit. Fr. Hardon was considered an expert in these areas and was consulted often by Rome in these matters. He himself said he read the writings. He was not changing his mind based on anyone else’s view. He is not my only “go to”, have you not read the response? And please show me any English authorized translations. There aren’t any. Let’s be real here, why else did the bishop write the letter if not to stop the translations? Logic dictates the answer, though it seems to be discarded by those who want to publish them anyway. Colon Donovan is a reapected theologian at EWTN who personally attests to this. I provided quotes and documents showing all of this. I find it almost comical from someone who was arguing that Holy Love was not condemned that my judgement is lacking. Enough said. Let’s set the record straight though as it pertains to this thread. My objection is that there was guidance that the rosary and consecration to our Lady used to be the way. Now it is Luisa’s Divine Will way. Flat. Out. Wrong. Our Lady is the way for us the Christ, always has been, always will be. She will save the world, there are no other remedies. https://onepeterfive.com/lucia-fatima-infamous-third-secret/
Excellent article. Thank you for posting, Frodo. I totally agree with you. You did an excellent job defending the Rosary and Consecration to the Immaculate Heart.
I would suggest reading The Gift of Living in the Divine Will in the writings of Luisa Piccarreta by Rev Joesph Iannuzzi. He has Ecclesiatical Approbation, the Pontifical Gregorian university in Rome authorized by the Holy See. After reading this book, I think one is able to make a proper judgment on the topic.
Colon Donovan is not an expert in this area of study of the Divine Will. He only relates what the Church permits. And what is permitted would allow even yourself to wind up at those Divine Will gatherings if you should choose to do so. Whatever is now permitted in English is just that or else it would not mention Divine Will Prayer Groups and "Readings" as groups that simply should follow the rules that are outlined by the local ordinary. In fact he says that prayer groups are encouraged in the various dioceses of the world, in order to spread Luisa's fame of holiness. From how you've disparaged Luisa as someone who is usurping the place of the Mother of God and using her "way" to replace the rosary, etc., it would again appear that you are the one who wishes to step out of what the Church permits. The Church does not forbid even other conferences about this in the local dioceses under the local ordinary's guidance no matter how hard you may try to suggest otherwise. You're acting as though if anyone does just that or has done just that is somehow doomed to hell or something. But unlike the Yellow Brick Road, there is no "Luisa's Divine Will" way, as you unfortunately offered, or any current substitution for the rosary or consecration since the one who lived perfectly within that Divine Will (recognized by Luisa) herself continues to request such it would be impossible for that to be! With that description by yourself as apparently your attempt at summation of this Divinely Willed Era's explanation I rest my case! If allowing others to understand that while the Church is working on the exactness of this teaching, Divine Will meetings, prayer groups, even other conferences are permitted within dioceses of the world is, as you expressed, being "a bit over my head" then I would suggest that sphere is also one you should visit in order to get the facts straight. Verne's suggestion in the above comment would be helpful, not only for yourself to become better acquainted, but for others as well. It's a very scholarly approach but then you appear to appreciate the exactness coming from experts.
There are truly some of us on this forum who would rather not participate. You can call me close-minded if you will, but I do not like this devotion. Period. It's difficult to decline your suggestions, because I know they are well-meaning, but no, thanks.
Peace be with all of you. There is One God One Divine Will. You can’t be holier than God. The church is the Mystical Body of Christ. The Eucharist is the summit. You all are correct. No Saint was given the knowledge of living IN the Divine Will until Jesus taught, spoke, showed, Luisa Picarretta what On Earth As It Is In Heaven means. That is a truth. All Saints past and present understand Thy Will Be Done. But no one until it was given to us in the Book of Heaven knew or understood what On Earth As It Is In Heaven means. Rejecting The Book of Heaven, rejecting Luisa, even rejecting those of us who read daily, speak constantly, and pray continuously for the Kingdom to reign on earth does not exclude you from attaining all the gifts that God has given to all souls. You still reach Heaven. The church has approved these writings, God has great plans for all of us. Just have Faith that God is all Wisdom, Knowledge, understanding, Council, fortitude, prayer and love. If these writings and messages are not for you don’t read them. If you are putting these messages out on the Divine Will don’t stop. Anyone who is reading, reading, reading the Book of heaven has 1 desire that all do Gods Will. Then sin will be no more and Satan will be bound because he will have no one to tempt. May you all have a blessed day.
