You never had to "say anything to me". And I'm not "backing" anything here. As I've already said....just offering the further facts that people, other than yourself, had originally asked about. Are you banning such added information? And of course you're not one of the anointed advising others what to do.....like follow your directive of "condemned" not expecting any push back on that, and now stating that my "manner" of expressing such correctives is, in your estimation again, "not worthy of further discussion"! Fine....I'm looking forward to your carrying out your own conclusion there!

Perhaps my patron saint should be St. Jerome who used to chase those who annoyed him out of his "cave" of study, throwing his books or manuscripts at them when doing so! Ha! Probably wouldn't be chosen as "Mr. congeniality".

I do not wish to bring this discussion back to life, but I thought it important to include the official decree of a negative ruling by Bishop Lennon on Maureen Sweeney Kyle and the false "Holy Love" messages and ministry for any in the future who may run across this thread. This is not of supernatural origin and for our own spiritual welfare and in obedience to Church authority we should not pursue it.

I had visited this site twice before. When I received this letter in the mail, I knew I would never return there.

 

I have friends in the prolife movement who continue with this and read and pray over the "messages". I tried to tell them but they wont hear it. I tried and I failed and I no longer discuss it with them although we continue as friends. They are very devout Catholics btw--better than me for sure--but in this one thing they have chosen disobedience. Scary.

 

Sometimes the disobedience reinforces the false belief that they are “right” and every one else is wrong, or missing out, or going to hell.
Been there, done that, hated it.

 

I hope we stay united and away from quarrels. Regarding the supernatural, there is a lot of confusion and falsehood.

I stick to the tried and tested: approved apparitions and prophecy if it has proven itself and if the prophet is a saint or blessed, such as St. Francis, Don Bosco, A.K. Emmerich. From everything else in terms of alleged apparitions and prophecy I distance myself. We have so much food for thought in approved apparitions such as Our Lady of Good Success, Akita, Fatima, La Salette, etc., we don't need to listen to all the other stuff. Remember, diabolos means the one who confuses and causes disorder.

I am so wary of all locations and visions that have not been officially recognized by the local bishop. For me it is the safest path. Quite a few priests on sensus fidellium have addressed this problem. They say the local bishop has the authority and the charism to make the judgement. Whether he is a good or "bad" bishop doesnt matter. Christ has given him the authority. To violate that is to directly disobey Christ. Serious!! Subtle snare of the devil.
