Please add me too - SgCatholic. I just found out about Luke’s passing today. I rejoice that Luke got his desire to be taken to the Lord on a First Saturday. But I feel so sad for his wife and children, especially those who are too young to really remember Luke in the years to come.

Luke has made a lasting impression on many of the members of MOG, a very good and lasting impression. I don't think that I will ever watch The Lord of the Rings in the future without thinking of him the entire time.
Thank you so much for the link. I will definitely be there in spirit online watching even if I can't ve there in person. Luke was a good friends and a great man. I have been very sad since his passing but also encouraged by the holy death he was granted. It goes to show Our Lady stands by the promises she made to those who are faithful to her. So sorry for your loss. May Our Lady watch over Luke's family now.

Do I have the wrong time? I am on the East Coast of the U.S. and I thought Luke's Mass was supposed to be livestreamed now (3P.M. EST), but the link just takes me to the first webpage for the church.
By my reckoning, it will be 10 p.m. our time, which will be about 10 minutes short of two hours from now.
Okay thanks Dolours. I have dyscalculia so it is possible I got the numbers wrong, but I had someone else help me check it and I thought it would be 3PM here, but maybe that means 5PM EST? I'll check back hourly to see if things change. Thanks all.
Thanks Sam I belive NZ straddles 2 time zones. Although the other one may be just for Chatham Islands.
P., I just checked the time in his city and it is a little after 9am there right now. I think that they may not livestream funeral masses. Joe is carrying us in spirit. If something changes and someone here figures out how to access the livestream then please post and let us know but I do believe that Luke's mass is currently being celebrated and it may not be livestreamed.
Actually, I think my calculations were wrong because when I google "what time is it in NZ now" the clock shows 9.17 a.m. Thursday in Wellington NZ.
