I've been thinking for a while.....

What plans do you have after the warning?

I feel as if I have a responsibility to everyone I know.
I feel as if I have to help spread the word of God. :)

There are going to be a multitude of people who are going to be confused.

    How do we help?

Have you been thinking like this too?

    What can we do?

Yes, I have indeed been thinking like this. I am hoping that I will be one of the ones that will console people, and will help to teach the true faith. I am hoping to be able to help people come to terms with themselves and to accept God's forgiveness.

I am hoping that as people learn about who God is, all their pre-conceptions will fall away, I am hoping to be able to teach people how to pray and to be as much a support to my priest as he needs me. If I am still here, I will do whatever God asks.. although funnily enough, in the deepest recess of my soul, the above is what I just instinctively knew that I would be doing.

You know, it is said, that Mother Mary said that after the warning, many will begin on the path and will fall away again, through lack of teaching. This is so sad, and it is the one thing that the Church is crying out for, good catechists to support the priest. But always with the mercy and love of God guiding these people.

They know evil, they know how the world hasn't helped, so they seek God, so I focus on the love and mercy of God, whilst also telling them about the last four things. Mercy of God is a forerunner in everything.

You can be there to console, to support, to help someone and let them know that they can change. Some may experience a mini-breakdown, or trauma, it is so important that more than anything, we love one another and are kind to one another, and not judgmental. i think at the time you will instinctively know what to do Jane, but I would encourage everyone here who really wants to help, to get training in catechisis, and don't think...Oh... I couldn't do that.

Yes you could, catechisis is to echo the truth, it is also being prepared to share our life experiences in the light of our faith. Do some courses. Many hands are going to be needed.

Great thread Jane. I was also thinking the same. I know I will be sought out by my friends and family because they know that i spoke of the warning and urged them to go to confession and clean their souls. But more people will be looking for answers of when happened. That's when the news and science will try to influence these people. Even though i know a lot of what is to come, I still feel my soul is not clean enough. Im hoping during the waring that Jesus will direct us and lead us of which direction to follow.

OK. I was meant to be going to bed when I saw your reply. But I couldn't help myself. :)

I know my soul is not clean enough, but somehow I know I can't let that stop me.

I know it will be a matter of "Jesus I trust in you."

Why has The Good Lord help me to change my life around? And not just mine, but others.

He is going to need us. He knows I am not afraid to talk. I am not very good with words, but that won't matter.

I feel as if it will start off by being very rewarding. Oh dear. Have to try and be humble!
But it will also follow up with evil attacks.

We will need the strength of the Holy Spirit.

Everyone here, I believe will have a resposibility. Everyones job will be different.

    What will you do?

If we wait for our souls to be clean, we will be waiting forever as we are constantly committing venial sins as that is the human condition, although we do our best to work on these. Having said this, your soul is thoroughly cleansed in confession, to believe otherwise is not trusting in God. However, we do indeed have to make restitution for sin.

Priests themselves have to go to confession, yet they still have the anointing of God.

God works with what He has, and that includes you and I. We are the ones that God has. Yes, we will all see our sins, but we are so fortunate in that we have been trying to live as God wants. Mother Mary says that these will have no reason to fear. But we must be there for others.

I actually think that you two have a lot more to give than you realise, like so many others. As Catholics, we tend to look at the bad in ourselves and play down the good. This is actually a false modesty (not accusing you two). Recognize all the good too, and your talents and gifts, and thank God for them knowing that these all come from Him and nothing from ourselves.

I always admired the gift of discernment and thought it is a gift that I would like to possess etc, how great would everything be if we all had this gift? Anyway, when beginning R.C.I.A I found that I instinctively knew how long a person would need to do the course for and whether they would need extra tuition etc to bring them into the full knowledge of the Gospels.

God really does take the ill equipped and equip them. The above is not of my own doing, but a gift I was given as I responded to His invite and stepped up to do the job!

We are crying out for good catechists.

hi - thanks. I was in Medjegorje in May just gone! It was my first time there and I loved every minute! I'm praying that our Blessed Mother will allow me to go again!

Hello Delia, I have been there twice and am hankering after it again. They say it is a sign that Our Blessed Mother is calling you back, it will become possible if it is indeed Mother Mary calling me. I am drawn to taking two of my girls to Lourdes in particular, but the eldest with autism (to Med).

    On this thread we aren't.

We have talked about both on True Prophecies/False Prophecies. Best to look on that thread and talk about it there.

Maria Divine Mercy, I believe is not from Divine messages.
My personal belief (many would argue) I don't believe Medjugorje are from Divine messages too.

I would like to keep this thread on talking about "after the warning"

oh yes, sorry Jane, we can keep this about after the warning. I thought for a moment there it was the same thread as true prophecies etc, but it isn't. Sorry.. This is just after the warning. There are so many good threads at the moment, it is difficult to keep track of them all.. Did you get much sleep? Am laughing here,

Twice? truly blessed! I haven't been to Lourdes but feel i know so much about it! my mum went to Lourdes after she was diagnosed with alzeimers in about 1998! To this day she shows absolutely no sign of alzeimers! Thank God! I tell her she's more alert than what I am! 

awww, I thought that you were too wired up over the threads to move away. I am finding them highly addictive.:sneaky::unsure::D.. I am definitely going to sign out now. I keep coming back. I don't know what to suggest for you to try to sleep. I usually just close my eyes and say the 'Hail Mary' repeatedly.

I hope that you do get some sleep, it is very frustrating when it gets late and you still can't sleep, then start counting the hours that you have left to sleep, it becomes quite stressful and a sure way of keeping you awake for longer!

ha ha Delia, then I am really going. :D, but I am the worst for for going off topic, on this forum and in conversations in general.

There will be other threads on Our Blessed Mother, just type in Medjudgorje in search engine in the top left hand corner, under where it says your name and log out etc..

You can also click on one of the subjects on the right, can you see true prophecies/false prophecies there?

    Hope this helps, :)

    Just realized.

After The Warning, there are going to be some of you that will encourage Medjugorje. What if it isn't from Divine sources?
There is enough evidence to have a person doubt.
Isn't it best not to lead a person that way until Church gives it it's approval, just in case?
It would be worse to direct someone in the wrong direction.

After the warning. We have a responsibility.

Put it this way. If Medjugorje is proven to be true. No harm done in not promoting it.
But if it is proven from evil and we have encourage people to follow it. This could be harmful.

We have to be careful! :)

I hear what you are saying Jane, and am really trying to keep on topic. But, I find no error in the messages and only good. However, there are those that I do have problems with in what they say, and I will always speak up against these..

In fact, the church's stance on Medjugorje at the moment is this.

When the people go to Medjugorje, make sure that they get all the pastoral care that they need there.

Pope John 2 said in ah Medjugorje, medjugorje, medjugorje, and smiled, then said look at the fruits.

He also said that he would love to go there. He has also asked them to pray for him. The church has been very quick to condemn other modern day mystics. If there was an error in the messages etc, it would have been condemned a long time ago. So sorry, answered this here, but will get back on topic now
